That's nonsense, but they have landed properties in highbrow areas of the cities in Nigeria. Many of them have massive investment in real estates and many more investment. Even if they decide to come back home, many will live a better life than most Nigerians who think they are doing well here. The best strategy is to make money and invest in real estate and properties. Then, return home when you feel ready. Start a business you enjoy and continue to benefit from your investments. If you plan this way, you won't regret moving abroad, and you'll still be comfortable and happy when you retire here. |

Sleekfingers: It is only a fool will argue with a man with a gun.......
Will they kill him at the station, if he had followed them? Now he is dead ......frankly speaking I don't pity fools.....
Just last week Friday, I was heading home around 1am , I was stopped by some police around bode Thomas junction off western avenue. They were asking me all sorta idiotic questions, searched my car . Said , where you dey come from ?, you no dey check time etc , I was angry . But I just talked to my self , Nigerian police are animals ..I started talking to them respectfully.......When one of them saw my Surname. They started being friendly , one of Dem said oga , you know say na our job we dey do ...I just laughed. At the end of the day , I gave them the 5k suya I bought for my wife...... And they let me go .....
I know I didn't do anything wrong , but it will unwise for me to argue with them at that time . They can waste me , and tag me a robber ..... Weak man, you gave them the gift you bought for your wife and you are proud of it. I hate men like you seriously. Why not give them money? May be they demanded for it and you started smiling sheepishly why handing it over to them. Chai weak man. |

kennyz247: Disco will surely make more money with no installation of pre paid meter I don't think so. Many will be consuming more than the estimated bill given to them. Once there's a constant power supply, metering everyone will be to the advantage of the discos. One woman operating a restaurant with two deep freezers has been paying her electricity bill up to date, but the NEPA officials later decided to conduct a proper investigation. They discovered that she's operating a cold room with 10 giant deep freezers inside the building and using the restaurant as a cover-up. If you bill her 60k a month, she will gladly pay because she knows she is cheating them. There are many others like her in different parts of the country. Some have mini factories in their residential apartments but still pay residential house electricity bill. These are people making life difficult for those on estimated bill. They consume electricity as factories but pay as residential. The other energy consumed would then be shared to the estimated customers. Nigerians can be dubious; we don't seem to want a working society. We always want to cheat, which is why many are suffering for the sins of a few. Energy theft is rampant in this country, and I pity those on estimated bills in areas with an epileptic power supply. |

What an evil sister-in-law. But I have to blame the widow because she didn't act properly.
You recently buried your husband and are still in mourning clothes, why didn't you wait for some time before erecting a structure, just to give your dead husband respect.? Maybe the sister-in-law suspects she had a hand in her brother's death.
Whoever advised her to start building a house while still in mourning clothes didn't do well for her. Thank God she's alive for her children. |

Politics › Re: Wike To Fubara: Midnight Injunction Cannot Sack Rivers Lawmakers by Hakeem66: 12:17pm On May 12, 2024 |
Coolestguy2023: I pity Fubara. You should have known Wike before now that "AGREEMENT IS AGREEMENT". He thought Atiku a big lesson which you are well aware of when Atiku renaged on the party agreement. For Wike to deal with Atiku, who is Fubura? Fubura is a small boy who some clowns are pushing to is downfall and when he finally falls, those clowns would be no where to be found. If you think you can bring down the man that single handedly made you a governor with is influence, then Fubura is a big joke. Wike have that "STRUCTURE" and they are loyal to him to the core because they trust him 100%. That is why they are all rooting for him. Forget the fact that he is a governor, all those rubbish executive order he has as a governor which all this ipob miscreants are saying is effective if tge "PEOPLE" are behind him of which Fubura don't have the people behind him. River people trust and believe in Wike more than Fubura and that is a fact. Most of the people supporting Fubura are the Igbos that have no political say in River's politics except there usual weightless noise on social media. I will advice Fubura to make peace with Wike and stop allowing a few miscreants to push him to his downfall. Fubura can NEVER had been a governor without Wike and so he must honor the agreement. A word is enough for the wise. You cannot force loyalty, you earn it. Fubara is pained because Wike has more loyal people to his name than himself as the governor. Wike earned it with is works so Fubura should stop fighting is political god father and start working to earn his own loyalty else he will soon be politically irrelevant. Retract your steps and stop allowing SM clowns to push you to your downfall else you will learn the hard way.
*I DON'T READ MENTIONS SO YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME REPLYING ME* I just pity you, keep supporting corruption. That's why Tinubu you supported is doing very well for the country. Family › Re: Her Father Is Occult. Should He Still Go Ahead? by Hakeem66: 5:36pm On May 07, 2024 |
kingthreat: Thanks all for your comments. From what was shared here I was able to give a better advice to my friend who I talked to over the night. I told him that if he wants to run a serious Christian marriage, the background of the girl will affect it so it is better to quit now except the girl is ready to be a prayer warrior and have less to do with her family. But if he wants to run a normal marriage, he can go ahead.
My guy told me he wants a Christian marriage o. He told me he just spoke to his uncle pastor about it and the Uncle told him to quit. One, for him to complain that means he is no longer 100% sure about the marriage and that can raise issues in the future. Two, he said most occult men do spiritual things that eventually affect their children and marrying her will be fighting unseen battles he had no idea of. It is better he finds a way to breakoff slowly or let the lady know that his parents are not comfortable with the marriage because of her family background. He himself knows that his family will not accept that but he is willing to turn rebel and do what he wants to do. But now he's having a rethought.
At a point I could hear sounds of crying in his voice over the phone. Guy is still saying that this is the best lady he ever dated. Chei beautiful ones are not yet born and he will still find a one better than her. Quitting is the best answer and he chose the right option. |

Reno will regret his attitude later, as it will negatively impact him in the future. He believes he's only targeting Peter Obi, but in reality, he's tarnishing his reputation because everyone sees him as a double-edged sword and as an man with kids brain. None would like associating with such fellow. I won't pity him for once because the regrets will surely happen and by that time, he will turn a pastor or motivational speaker. |

Politics › Re: Sowore Knocks Peter Obi For Inaugurating ‘pepper-grinding Machine’ To Pump Water by Hakeem66: 11:00am On Apr 12, 2024 |
Cantonese: Let’s agree with Sowore that Obi inaugurated pepper grinding machine.
One can ask Sowore if with all his years of activism and wealth from living in America, if he has provided any social service to people of his community.
Sowore must tell us if there is electricity to power electric pumping machines in the communities provided the boreholes.
Sowore should tell us if solar powered boreholes can be longer lasting than the pepper grinding machines. In case of faults, who will fix the solar powered ones, and at what cost?
Sowore must tell us why having campaigned during the last elections in the north, he could not remember to provide such amenities for the suffering people, who have been without portable water for uncountable years.
Why has Sowore not asked the leaders of such communities what they have been doing all these years with the allocations received?
No common sense with Sowore.
Are the beneficiaries not enjoying their water so far? Have they complained?
Jealousy and envy will not let some like Sowore have some peace of mind. It is very clear that Obi knows the needs of the citizens and he tackles them. They are worried that everyday Obi’s popularity rating rises. They said “no structure”. Obi matched Tinubu and BAT vote for vote at the last election, to their greatest surprise.
For those youths who support those who daily reap them off and put them in misery, you may continue in your hardship. well said, I have nothing to add. |
