Family / In Health And In Love by Haleemahummar: 12:43pm On Feb 12
The most precious gift one can receive is the gift of good health. There's immense joy when the family considers my well-being in their gifts, especially as I age. Reflecting on my grandmother's sentiments, she expressed gratitude when my dad presented her with the Chi Pendant 4 ahead of Valentine's Day. If you ask me, it was such a thoughtful gift; she expressed so much appreciation to my dad because she had heard about the pendant and its benefits. For those who do not know, the chi pendant increases life energy, boosts immunity, supports against stress, promotes quality sleep, and enhances productivity and creativity.

My grandmother's statement resonates deeply, emphasizing the importance of good health as the ultimate gift. Her appreciation wasn't just for the pendant but for the consideration and love embedded in the gift. It spoke volumes about how much he valued her health and overall well-being in her older age. This is a valuable lesson for all of us as we navigate the realm of gift-giving. While tangible items have their place, a gift's real essence lies in its intention. Whether it's a Chi Pendant or another gesture that prioritizes well-being, these considerations truly make a gift special.

Investment / Investment Options by Haleemahummar: 3:25pm On Nov 22, 2023
Various investment options can help you build wealth and achieve your financial goals!

1. Stocks and Equities: Investing in individual stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) allows you to become a partial owner of a company. It offers the potential for high returns but also comes with higher risk.
2. Real Estate: Purchasing property, whether residential or commercial, can provide rental income and potential for property value appreciation over time.
3. Bonds: Bonds are fixed-income securities where you lend money to a company or government entity in exchange for periodic interest payments and the return of the bond's face value at maturity. They are generally considered lower risk compared to stocks.
4. Mutual Funds: Mutual funds pool money from multiple investors to invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks, bonds, or other securities. They offer diversification and professional management.
5. Cryptocurrency: Digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum have gained popularity as alternative investments. They can offer substantial returns but come with higher volatility.
6. Startups and Small Businesses: Investing in startups or small businesses as an angel investor or through crowdfunding platforms can offer high potential returns but also carries higher risk.
7. Precious Metals: Investing in assets like gold and silver can act as a hedge against inflation and economic uncertainty.

Remember, every investment comes with its own risk profile and potential returns. It's crucial to do your research, assess your risk tolerance, and consider diversifying your investments to spread risk.

Events / QNET Product Expos 2023 by Haleemahummar: 3:38pm On Sep 19, 2023
I realise I’m getting to this late, but better late than never. Early in August, I had the privilege of attending a product expo here in Lagos. It was a massive hit; everyone in attendance got to interact firsthand with all of QNET's impressive product range, which helped show how committed QNET is to quality. We had the opportunity to learn what each product was and what they did from experts there who explained these to us.

The expo also helped explain how the business opportunity QNET offers works; you simply earn through product sales. It was truly amazing and insightful. I hope another one is held soon so as to invite others to enjoy the experience I had.

Culture / Unity In Nigeria’s Diversity by Haleemahummar: 2:46pm On Jul 14, 2023
It is said that there is beauty in diversity, but there should be unity as well, and Nigeria is a wonderful example of diversity. Basically, if diversity were a country, Nigeria would be a good example. Nigeria is a melting pot of different cultures, languages, traditions, and religions. Our diversity is what makes us unique and vibrant as a nation.

Recognizing that unity doesn't mean erasing our differences but embracing and respecting them is important. Our diversity enriches our society, fuels innovation, and opens doors to endless possibilities. Together, we have the power to achieve greatness. We can build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria through understanding, empathy, and embracing our diverse backgrounds.

Let's learn from one another, foster inclusivity, and work towards a future where unity is our greatest strength. Remember, our unity will always be our greatest asset in the face of challenges. We can achieve great things together and make Nigeria a beacon of unity, tolerance, and progress.

Sports / The Mancity Football Clinic In Abeokuta by Haleemahummar: 10:08am On May 23, 2023
The Manchester Football clinic took place in Abeokuta some weeks ago, and it was wonderful to see young talents being coached by the man who guided Nigeria to their victory in the 1996 Olympic games Jo Bonfere. I also learnt that this football clinic was organised by QNET and their legal partner in Nigeria, Transblue, in collaboration with Manchester City. Seeing such a renowned club bringing their expertise to our local community is amazing. I’m sure this clinic will inspire and nurture the next generation of football stars. Kudos to everyone involved for investing in grassroots development and giving young talents a platform to shine. Can't wait to see the future superstars that emerge from this clinic! #FootballDreamsComeTrue

Crime / Re: Nigerian Government Should Shut Down Quest International (QI) Now. SCAM by Haleemahummar: 4:20pm On Apr 11, 2023
If you type pyramid or ponzi schemes on Google, the first thing that comes up is that it's a fraudulent investment idea that only promises returns that are too good to be true which can only be made by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes focus on recruiting people to pay money rather than selling products, unlike direct selling, which is directly selling products to interested people and getting a commission for selling. It's always important to do your research before investing in any company or opportunity to avoid falling victim to scams.

ThankUUJesus:
exactly....it's total scam and does not make sense. Don't mind @firstus51 he is one of the problem. You can notice how he diverted from talking about the 600k payment which is not for any expensive wrist watch or whatever and was talking rubbish about elites loving Qnet. Government should investigate and shut down this pyramid scheme scam of Qnet. most people in their trap would have used their 600k to do something better if they had known the truth about Qnet scam.

even the lodge they provide for the people in their net, most of them sleep on mats.

Investment / Risk Management In Investment by Haleemahummar: 5:46pm On Apr 03, 2023
A lot of people don’t understand what investment means, so when they see supposed jobs or opportunities that appear as investments, they go into it without actually knowing what they’re doing or the risks involved. For every investment one makes, there are risks one must be ready to deal with.

Risk management in investment is a way of protecting your money by preparing for any potential problems. Imagine that you want to keep your money safe by buying goats to sell later. You know that there is a risk that the goats may get sick or die, which would cause you to lose money. To manage this risk, you might decide to buy goats from different sellers so that if one group gets sick, you still have others that are healthy. This way, you don't lose all your money if something goes wrong. In the same way, when investing your money, it's important to consider the risks involved and plan to protect your investment. You can do this by spreading your money across different investments so that if one investment doesn't do well, you still have others that may perform better.
I hope this advice helps you when you next see an investment opportunity.

Health / The VCON Event 2022 by Haleemahummar: 8:57pm On Feb 24, 2023
Every year, International direct-selling company QNET organizes its annual convention titled V-Malaysia. V-Malaysia, or V-convention, as it's fondly called, is always held in Penang Island, Malaysia. Last year, QNET welcomed more than 15,000 participants from 30 countries to its Island.
The event was a five-day convention held from October 7th to 11th, 2022, after a three-year hiatus.

Some significant highlights of V-convention 2022 were a mega product exhibition of the company's health, wellness, and lifestyle brands. It also included a series of training programmes, new launches of products, various entertainment segments, and an international sports star as a guest speaker.

Among the various product launches QNET had, 2 of the products stood out to me. The first was HomePure Viva, a customisable water filtration system that can produce hydrogen-rich alkaline water; and The second was EDG3 plus, a sugar-free powdered supplement blended with turmeric, Vitamin D3, and glutathione to strengthen the immune system, lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and increase the body's natural defense against diseases.

QNET sponsored three Nigerian journalists on an all-expense paid trip to its convention last year.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job Offer In Port Harcourt Is It A Scam ? HELP by Haleemahummar: 8:36am On Feb 21, 2023
It's true that on this NL forum, there are many posts and threads about QNET. At the same time, though, some posts have explained who QNET is and what they offer. QNET doesn't offer jobs in exchange for fees. As one of the biggest direct-selling companies in the world, QNET sells world-class, high-quality products via its e-commerce portal and a business opportunity that allows its independent representatives to earn commissions on products sold. It's not a recruitment agency that places people in jobs locally or abroad. Find out more about QNET and its products on their website www.qnet.net

LadySarah:
Some of you will be swimming in an ocean yet soap suds will enter your eyes.

On this same NL,several threads about this particular job have been created. It is Qnet Global and its allies...They are scammers majorly operating in portharcourt for years now.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Just Received An Interview Notification From QNET. Can I Trust It? by Haleemahummar: 10:25pm On Feb 10, 2023
I know about QNET, and the company is not similar to GNLD or any pyramid scheme. QNET is an e-commerce direct-selling company. It is important first to understand the difference between a legitimate direct-selling company and a pyramid scheme. The main difference is that, in a pyramid scheme, one gets a payment for recruiting more people under them, whereas, in a genuine direct-selling company, commissions are paid only based on the sale of products. Even if a person has a large network of people under them, they don't earn commissions if they have not sold or bought any product. Pyramid schemes aren’t even legal. Most of their participants lose money because they rely on recruiting new representatives instead of product sales to make profit, charge members huge amounts of money to register and convince them to buy large amounts of products that are sometimes non-existent or not returnable.

yusfatedeeprof:
Qnet is similar to Gnld I believe. All these multi level marketing (MLM) / pyramid scheme.

They have different products, they will tell you their necklace will purify your heart, and regulate your immune system. And another object (product) you will let your water pass through to bring it to life before drinking. 🤐

So this is a case of a bigger scammer calling out smaller scammer

Sports / Manchester City And Her Sponsors by Haleemahummar: 1:19pm On Jan 26, 2023
Manchester City, the defending premier league champions, is known as one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, which is excellent. However, it is essential to note that it is all about quality business and financial help from partners.

There is a great list of sponsors that support Manchester City with additional funding and promotion. Their global partners include; Etihad Airways, Puma, OKX, e& (formerly Etisalat), Nexen Tire, Nissan, Experience Abu Dhabi, Midea, EA Sports, Unilever, and QNET, amongst others. Their Regional partners include; Cadbury, Nestle, Leo Vegas, 8Xbet, Sportium etc. They also have local partners and official suppliers like Ballers, Majestic Wine, ESP Fitness, Sportsworld and Champneys.

With great financing from these various sources, “the Citizens” have enough costs to buy the most promising athletes from around the world. Some of the notable transfers include the ones of Jack Grealish (€100m), Kevin De Bruyne (€68m), Ruben Dias (€61m), and Erling Haaland (€51.2m). All these practices have helped Manchester City become England champions twice a row. So, next time you celebrate the victories of Man City, pay tribute to the influential brands and companies that help make their dreams of great success a reality.

Business / Re: Nigerian Youth Like Money, But Do We Go About It The Wise Way? by Haleemahummar: 8:13pm On Dec 26, 2022
LOL, when I heard about it, I thought it was one of those scamming activities people do in the name of QNET where they say come and be trained for a job, you go, and they tell you to pay.
This was a free event.
So, as usual, I went to their website http://www.qnet.net and found https://www.qnet.net/fingreen/.

I realised they used the same principle as their direct selling model to try and reach out to more youth in Nigeria. This time it's not on product sales but on educating people on financial literacy. Peer-to-peer training is an innovative way of ensuring that age gaps break the knowledge barriers between them. It is also a surefire way to have a ripple effect on the passage of knowledge.

Joannebassey:
I recently heard that QNET has embarked on a financial literacy programme for young people in Nigeria called FINGREEN (I saw it on social media). However, I did not get the opportunity to participate because I was told the slot was for just 20 people. My understanding of the initiative, as explained by a friend who attended, was that they aimed to train about 6,000 young people in Nigeria on Financial Literacy.
Since this was a pilot, they trained 20 participants who were mandated to carry out individual peer-to-peer training in their communities. So far, about 600 young people in Lagos, Ogun, Osun, and Oyo states have benefited from this.

Imagine this goes viral, and they can achieve their aim, which means our youth and some of us here will get literate on making and keeping money and not falling victim to scams and fraud in Nigeria. Imagine all 6,000 people know how to save, work with a budget, use credit cards wisely etc. Omo, our lives will be much better and more well-organized.
Business / Nigerian Youth Like Money, But Do We Go About It The Wise Way? by Haleemahummar: 1:16pm On Dec 23, 2022
Everyone agrees that money is significant in our lives. Money is a legal tender, and it makes the world go round. Financial Literacy is the ability to make, manage and multiply money. It is the machinery for every economy; with it, some thrive, and others don't. You can only tell the physical difference between the rich and the poor by the amount of money they have.

Most of us want to travel to oyibo land for greener pastures, but what are they doing right that we are not? For me, I think it's Financial Literacy. We are eager to make money, spend it all on expensive things to gain certain social status, and get broke, and the cycle continues until we die. We are just bad at managing our finances.

Whether we know it or not, from our political leaders to parents to individual youth, financial literacy knowledge is as necessary as the singular act of making money.
Business / Can Anyone Help Me With Where To Find The Legal QNET Office In Nigeria? by Haleemahummar: 4:55pm On Nov 30, 2022
After hearing so much about QNET, I wondered where I could locate their offices for my personal inquiries, and that was when I found out that they are an e-commerce direct selling company that is not only based in its headquarters in Hong Kong but is a global company that has offices in over 25 countries like Singapore and Germany. They have offered health, wellness, lifestyle, and education products for over 20 years.

To answer your question, since QNET uses e-commerce, its sales activity is done electronically. Therefore, buying QNET products is done online or over the Internet.
However, in Nigeria, they have a logistics partner called Transblue, with an office in Abuja.
I also read in the news that they just launched a disinformation centre. The last I inquired, I was well informed they would soon launch a call centre where people can reach out for quick information about QNET and Transblue.

I know this much because I have been following the conversation here on Nairaland regarding QNET for some time now. It saddens me when I read so many heartbreaking stories about people being duped by fraudsters in the name of QNET.

That got me asking questions, and that's when I found out anyone who claims to have a QNET office in Nigeria is a fraudster. The existing set-ups are created primarily by independent representatives whose activities are monitored to ensure they are doing the right things.
You can find out more by emailing this address network.integrity@qnet.net and report any persons who might have such claims.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Orezone!? Gold Quest!?: The Sinister Plot Of Qnet. Job Scam In Burkina Faso by Haleemahummar: 8:15pm On Oct 29, 2022
I am very sorry you had to go through this ordeal but like you said it is very necessary to go a step further to research any company that asks you to bring a huge amount of money and travel to another country in Africa just to get a job.

That being said, if a step further had been taken to search QNET on Google and go to their official website at https://www.qnet.net/. The first thing you would notice is a huge warning stating that there are fake employment offers using QNET’s name

QNET is a direct-selling company that offers a wide range of products in the area of health, wellness, lifestyle, and education through an e-commerce platform. These products are always unique and cannot be found anywhere else. It is headquartered in Hong Kong and has offices and agency partnerships in over 25 countries worldwide. The brand is so huge and credible that it sponsors the famous Manchester City Football Club and the African Club League Championships of CAF. They have a world-class standard university in Malaysia which people also impersonate.

The organization has been in business for 23 years and has had product sales in 100+ countries, a presence in 25+ countries through offices and agencies, and over 1,000 employees of around 50 nationalities.

The only way to make money with QNET is through product sales and not through any form of recruitment whatsoever. Simply put, QNET pays you the money meant to go to advertising for the product because you will have advertised on its behalf. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is a business that requires you to work hard, make strategic plans for growth, be patient, committed, and goal-oriented. QNET uses a compensation plan that calculates commissions payable to you based on the sales volume generated through your referrals on the product sales in our e-commerce portal.

It is quite unfortunate you had to go through this experience. Please report and narrate your ordeal to this email: network.integrity@qnet.net so that proper structures can be set up to catch these fraudsters and save more people from being scammed.
Business / QNET Fingreen Project by Haleemahummar: 6:00pm On Aug 23, 2022
A lot of young people in Nigeria do not know how much they spend on a weekly basis. This is because they are ignorant about their finances. Financial literacy is the ability to understand and use various financial skills to make, manage, and multiply money.

This is what the QNET FinGreen Project is all about.

It is a financial literacy program that is aimed at helping young people in Nigeria achieve financial freedom. QNET carried out this project with the help of its partner organisation, Financial Literacy For All. The FinGreen Project is a financial training that teaches young people skills like employability, entrepreneurship, mindset adjustment, and financial literacy.

According to what I heard, the project launched on the 27th of June, 2022 in a big event with twenty young people in Lagos. After the training, the twenty young people were supported as Ambassadors for the FinGreen project. The youths were to train about twenty other young people in their communities on the same skills they learnt during their training. Two hundred young people have been trained already.

These trainings are happening in various locations in Lagos, like Ikeja, Ibeju-Lekki, and Ikorodu. The same trainings have also occurred in Ogun and Oyo states.
