herney:

Guys, please why is it difficult getting an HR entry level job. These HR people keep asking of experience but they fail to understand we have to start from somewhere.

You are absolutely correct. i actually went for a HR officer interview the other day, only to get to the ceos office for the final interview and he said he wants an experienced person. But I made him to understand that the job they are advertising for is an entry level position which needs no experience and made him to understand that i was up to the task based on my previous experience in Administration, even the HR Manager said the same thing to the CEO, well i was pissed off but I know am bound to win. smiley smiley

All this Bankole and EFCC wahala is irritating, i think i will join bankole to say EFCC is a toothless dog, am not condoning what bankole did but there is a real political dynamics at play in this.
This should also be spread to other corrupt public office holders too. If the president wants us to take his government serious, then justice should be allowed to prevail and the numerous pending cases of many other former public office holders especially past governors should be dusted, re-opened , resumed and prosecuted with as much zeal, commitment and speed as bankole's case is being pursued now. chikena. angry cheesy

Politics / Re: Nigeria To Buy Buses From China, When We Have 2 Bus Manufacturing Company by hallo(f): 2:24pm On Feb 22, 2011
Kobojunkie:

Would you then be more willing the Government purchase the buses from Japan then?

I buy Made in China, and I have sent made in China goods to Nigeria. They are the same quality you would get here and nothing less. So far, I have no complaints.

Honestly, this is not about China but about the fact that I do not believe the quality of our made in Nigeria is nowhere near that of what I am used to(made in china). If anyone has information stating that that the made in Nigeria cars have been shown to be of equal or better quality than imports, then please present it so you can change minds here.

INNOSON Manufacturing company emplored expatriates in the manufacturing of his buses. so be rest assured that if this company and the likes are encouraged they will compete favourably well with china. and before you know it he will move to Ghana where he will be patronised and the finished buses imported into Nigeria for sale cos the Ghanaian govt has visited his coy to assess it and thereby convincing him that they will give him a land in their country to start a manufacturing company.
Nigerians have no trust in what is theirs. fix the nepa or wat ever its called and u will see transformation in Nigeria. Our leaders have failed "themselves" and not "me".
undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided am quiet sure that those who are clamoring for this have a stake in it. Its so sad that even the Ministry of finance could not even advice headed by our own goldman & sach personnel correct me if am wrong pls.

i still believe that even the Chinese man do not want our country to develop they prefer us to be a crawling nation.
cry cry i will never 4get a meeting i went to in Abuja on "lifting of ban"in which i represented the company i work with. it was so sad Nigeria i wail oooooooooo!, but we the youth should not give up Nigeria will definitely turn to wat we dream it to be (positively) wink wink wink

kawazaki:

These Yoruba people are back again.

They are hell bent on destoying our daughter Ndi Okereke-Onyuike
.

Find below their Yoruba instigated report:

http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Money/Finance/5641302-146/auditors_report_indicts_former_exchange_leaders.csp

The report on the affairs of the Nigerian Stock Exchange under the immediate past director general, Ndi Okereke-Onyuike is out, though unofficially. Commissioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission, in response to a petition by a former president of the Exchange Council, it detailed in clear terms many excesses that characterized Ms. Okereke-onyuike's tenure.

Authored by KPMG( Most of their staff are  Yoruba), an audit firm and Aluko Oyebode & Co., a legal firm, and dated September 29, the 41-page report chronicled some putrid actions of the Exchange. Among these is the fact that the Exchange spent N186 million on Rolex watches for its staff in 2008 for presentation to employees who had served the Exchange for 10 years. Interestingly, the report revealed that only 73 out of the 165 Rolex watches were actually presented to the awardees meaning that 92, valued at N99.5 million remain unaccounted for. "We observed that the gifts awarded/presented far exceeded the value stated in the staff handbook," the report noted.

Also, the report said, "Our investigation so far reveals that the following allegations may have merit: Total expenses of the NSE are too high, 2006 to 2008 expenses consumed more than 80 per cent of income/undisciplined spending and financial imprudence; That there has been sharing of money among council members, That the sum of N400 million were paid to the past president of the Council, That wages, training and IT expenses were overstated."

Please why don't you stop all these your ranting about yorubas. I have always respected Ndi okereke but if proven guilty why castrate yourself. sad
Politics / Re: The Gang-up Against Emeagwali Is Ethnically Motivated by hallo(f): 2:04pm On Nov 11, 2010
Why can't we all stop being tribalistic with this issue, Philip Emeagwali is busy enjoying himself and you here are busy condeming yourselves sad sad
it was even an Igbo woman who attacked him in her write-up.
who is the tribe trying to bring others down now? You are busy using your own hands to pull yourselves down and looking for those to go down with you. sad
And some bunch of mongoloid are laying the blame on the yorubas. it is so sad.
Igbo folks remove the log of wood in your own eyes before removing the speck on another person  angry sad
Politics / Re: The Gang-up Against Emeagwali Is Ethnically Motivated by hallo(f): 1:18pm On Nov 11, 2010
Anything on tribalism can be disgusting undecided undecided  But lets come to understand this now, if it was a white man caught, CNN or the white man media would cover him up, kissthey will embelish their report on him.  undecided undecided
Here is our own black brother cheesy and we are so quick to pass judgement on him irrespective of what he did or did not. We should always remember that the white man has not the black mans interest at heart cos they don't want the black man to measure up to them, they can't just imagine a black man coming out with with a discovery. its absurd to them
All these casting your anger on the Yoruba folks solves no issues. What has the leaders done about it. Don't forget that many Nigerians abroad go through one persecution or the other from the hands of the white monkeys but what did our government do, They have sold that mentality to us casting blames on different tribes
Remember what Dora (the Minister) had to fight against when she was still in NAFDAC-it was your folks importing fake drug to the detriment of the populace cry cry all because of money so this has given the other tribes to perceive that the igbos can go extra miles for anything.
All your rantings and spitting of fire  shocked solves no problem. we are the ones to change our mentality and even encourage our children to think positive about other tribes . I believe we see the beauty in ourselves  and not beclouded with tribal sentiments in our judgement.    ONE NATION ONE NIGERIA grin grin cheesy cheesy wink smiley
