SonofElElyonRet: Meanwhile my Ellah entry price is less than N4 so I'm sitting pretty I had to jump out. It’s a decent profit for the year. I have concern of Ellah having over 21b outstanding shares. So many APIs this period. Bought UBA PO at 50 and it’s sitting well at 30-40. Although at over 20% loss in vfd, I still took my RI in VFd - 50b RI is fair and I consider that one is solid I think It best to come back and pick Ella at 7-8naira |

SohSoh: The article :: Aramco's $21bn dividend puts NNPC under spotlight.
Same Business, Vastly Different Results :: This article emphasizes the core argument that a shared or the same business model should yield nearly comparable business success. The article uses Aramco's success to show that NNPC's struggles are not due to the market, but to its own deep-seated operational and administrative inefficiencies.
Ellah Lakes and Presco
I see no reason why Ellah Lakes, should raise the same amount as presco, when they both share the same Business model but results are greatly different. I think ARPN is simply coming into NGX under Ellah’s license. The question is why not get your own license? Someone deposited 1Bn + into Ellah forming their cash at hand. I think they may have their target investor but 232B is not a small money though. Looks like a lot of downside. Whoever wants to pick Ellah PO should come and pick it at a discount on the floor. I regretted picking UBA PO |

Streetinvestor2: U keep sounding very funny because u work in oil and gas industry. What is the hazard working in dangota refinery. Is the refinery going to explod. That is my problem with people like u.U like to feel ur profesion is so special than others. U think those security mean facing boko haram everyday jobs are not more hazardous than someone who is operating/monitoring machines. If the problem with the workers was salary. Why didn't they approach management for increase. If the management refused.Thr life is not tired to the refinery. They had the option to resign. Is thr any job that does not come with different level of harzed. I have someone with masters presently doing PhD.How much is innoson paying hin in his factory in Enugu. If he see that kind money na testimony. The is someone heading a department for production I usually ignore your post. Because you miss the subject matter and focus of discussion a lot. Someone is by all means bent at protecting Dangote even when the facts says Gross- and this person is saying excluding allowance. Thanks to the people saying the truth. Let’s agree the union went far.. it’s not difficult for you to agree that the 400k is small. Sir, I know you admire Dangote… if it’s easy to believe whatsapp group sabotage then say the truth in the midst of facts. |

Potvalor: though I am not necessarily supporting their choices.
The main objective of my earlier post wasn’t to fault Dangote, it was just back up the ₦400K salary someone first mentioned. Thank you for this enlightenment. You’ve spoken well |

emmanuelewumi: They have learnt a great lesson. They should have waited to gain valuable experience at least 5 years before allowing people who destroyed our national refineries to mislead them
I tell people, after God na your job or source of income be the most important thing. Let’s get it straight sir., From Dangote and what we know now… They weren’t sacked because they joined union… infact, Dangote ascended to a freewill MOU to join union. What we should be talking about now is the content of the whatsapp. Maybe not necessary anymore, but time will tell. |

Streetinvestor2: @ handsomebolanle, Why will the new guys be decieved to join the union if old guys with experience are not in the union if we go by your post Does it mean the union used this unfortunate ones and inexperienced to fight thr dirty fight And this is the union u talk high of that we should support .Now this innocent guys have become the fall guys. Government need to ban them urgently Like I said I later heard it was more of the new guys. Also to add, we wouldn’t consider most really old considering the time the refinery began functioning. I don’t know what runs in that side of union branch… but I’m a first hand benefit of the union at my branch. We’ve had our chairman and support of the branch chairman sit with the management to discuss workers wafare . CBA’s are been reviewed base on economic factors. Imagine overtime that use to be Zero naira for many years made 10s- of thousands not to talk of many other perks. This is dollar industry which many employers pays in naira. If indeed investigate proves true to be sabotage then I don’t support. If otherwise then, Dangote should have nothing to fear. Let me add… it’s a misconception to think PENGASSAN is like other unions especially when looking at it from a perspective of the branch I belong too. |

emmanuelewumi: If this report from Premium Times is true that PENGASSAN refused this offer, then something is wrong with them.
So being transferred to other businesses in Dangote Group is a better option.
It shows that those guys don't actually possess the so called rare talents, they don't think they have a highly marketable skills or they don't know how to multiply money Most of the people affected were 2yrs or less experienced. More like graduate training which wasn’t what I thought earlier. |

emmanuelewumi: Divulging sensitive operational information to third parties.
Tutorials from workers who wrecked the moribund refineries on how to reduce efficiency, create leakages and accidents This is wrong if such is the case. The union needs to investigate these allegations and fish out bad culprits. The part of PENGASSAN I am aware of has been very beneficial to the industry especially the workers. |

emmanuelewumi: Imagine Whatsapp group to sabotage your employer.
The group was created by a PENGASSAN guy who started getting contacts of Nigerian workers in Dangote Refinery. Sabotage is a broad word… Every company has a PENGASSAN whatsapp group. What we should be asking is that “what exactly was the discussion and what exactly was the sabotage? Where are the evidences oor screenshot of the exact conversation ?” Omoh, ah don tire This matter should rest Abeg.,, |

emmanuelewumi: A 3rd party company will be contracted to supply workers to the refinery The root of Nigeria's problems lies with Nigerians themselves... You echo the mindset of our leaders. Expecting people to live in poverty and be treated as second-class citizens through contract staffing is unacceptable… Sir, I know you have money. But don’t oppress people |

DIL is already in radar and the law is waiting for him. Go and ask sterling Global oil and gas. You people don’t even rate NIGERIA 😀. awesomeJ: Na so life be 😁😁😁 You yourself said it’s more like a Win/Draw…. But for sure, Dangote sat down on the table and came to a compromise by absorbing the guys sacked back which was the unions request. So tell me how thy is a loss… Boss, this na common sense na. |

KarlTom: You said, and I quote, "Dangote is NOT winning this".
Now " it doesn't matter" ... Oga calm down. So how has Dangote won? E for no sit down come to a compromise na and see the $20b shut down and banks come after him. Make nobody stress me for argument na?? Before you quote me, ask shell, total, chevron, schlumberger, bakerhughes, Halliburton and many of them. You think PENGASSAN na your community union mate? What I wrote was just on a general note. |

KarlTom: IMO Aliko wins here: Union has been subdued in the refinery.
The 'reinstated' staff will miss out on the juicy allowances in the O&G.
I can bet, not all of them will stay long in DIL... Lols… Dangote's got a tough road ahead of him if he keeps going down this path. Let's see how this plays out and how long he can keep fighting. If this truce is true, let’s give it sometime and I will quote myself when the new replacement working in DIL decides to join Union and the matter resurfaces again. Honestly, making peace with PENGASSAN would be way cheaper than all this drama. PENGASSAN is not like many unions you all know. I wouldn’t argue on this matter. Win/Draw/Loss…. It wouldn’t matter - if one person is badly treated then everyone is. |

Leave that comfort zone and go start ur own thing.Your cord is not tired to another man success or business. Every other thin na noise. If he didn't employ u would u have forced him.why can't the union create employment after all this yrs. What have they been doing with the money they have been collecting all this yrs.Have u seen how thr leaders live larger than life Is good he sacked them. They will learn the hard way.A family member worked with alhaji Cement for yrs and was paid well. When they terminated her job.She was paid off well. She bought land and built good house and went into farming.
