I am a 300 level student guy in a Fed Uni and what happened right now is just very funny and I think I need solid financial advice from the investment experts here. Everyone should please endeavour to contribute.
A distant uncle called me about a month ago that he has a connect to a FG grant and requested for my details. Immediately I heard that, I quickly forwarded him my BVN and other bank details. He later called me to inform me I have been registered.
Fast forward to about a week later. . .He then called me and started explaining that the stuff is a actually a LOAN not a GRANT and that his connect will take back 40% of it after I am credited. Immediately, I was confused. Because I am still a student and that kind of risk does not make any sense. Actually, if he had told me it was a LOAN initially I wouldn't have sent my details. I told him instantly that I am not interested in the package anymore since it is a LOAN and to even add salt to injury, one facilitator will demand 40% of it because he made it happen. Nah me and am go repay am?
About 5 days later, I got an SMS from NMFB that my loan has been approved and I should follow a link, input my details and get credited. I ignored this message and went about my business. A week after, I got another message from the same NMFB that they have created a NISRAL account or something for me. I was a bit confused and perplexed because I did not click on their link because I am not interested in their loan. I checked my account balance to reassure myself and it showed that no money was credited and I was a bit relieved.
Now, just about 20 minutes ago. I got a whopping 700k alert from NMFB for a loan I don't want.
The question I need to ask you elders is : What next for me? I must also add that my uncle demanded that if I get credited, I must pay that 40% to the facilitator guy but ofcourse I won't because I will not even inform him that I have been credited.
- Buy a tricycle and give to a rider? Because Obviously I can't drive it because I am a student
- Buy a piece of land and wait for it to appreciate
- Buy bitcoin and hold
- Buy dollars and keep
- jejely return the loan (I don't even know how to go about this!)
- others? (Please specify)

The kind of Corruption that's devaluing our system.
Elsueno: But how many people way dey those platform get millions of dollars?
Majority of people using them have less than $1k on average. The highest ones have around let's say $100k & they are really small in number.. So the issue of affecting the naira is not on dat side....One politician can steal the total amount in that finetech account & hide it abroad.
To me, it this action was taken to strengthen the naira, then it's a waste of time..They said same for crypto but things actually got worse for the naira after it
Do you see the accounts balance better than CBN??
What I know is that many people have lost faith in the Naira currency. We must silence corruption in this country else, all this CBN gra gra will keep creating different path for saboteaurs as the they block any path
Ades1: The federal government is doing what every government will do, protect the economy from sabotage. I am not an expert in this field, everything I say is just common sense. Nigeria is too addicted to the $$$, it is unhealthy.
I agree. Unfortunately, many have already lost faith in the currency even the leaders.
So which year exactly do you think it will launch?
U guys don't know sumtin, btcee was a once in a lifetime opportunity.... Forget all these pi coin claiming to be the next btc, don't give ursef too much hope...
Btccc came at a time when no one knew abt crypto but look at thousands of coins now... So do u think a coin will replicate btccc.. U r kidding bro.. We may never have a story Dt will be like btccc again.. Know this and know peace
U r giving ur sef hope because u r also mining it ....
No need to make arguments on this ... Only Time will tell though ..
No crypto has this numbers...know this..know peace...
Please I need your advice on this, which do you prefer and reasons if possible. A job in a multinational that pays 300k and trainings in Europe and the other opportunity is a Masters degree program in France.
Please which of the two would you stick with?
Is it an Oil and Gas Company... if so send me a pm .. I once worked for a multinational oil and gas ...and the salary you mentioned looks familiar
Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A32, which is arguably over priced, the Samsung A22 offers more value for money by spotting the same Helio G80 but with a HD+ Super AMOLED display, of course with the same 90hz refresh rate, same 5000mAh Battery, same form factor etc. Moving over to other brands, like Xiaomi and Realme, the Helio G80 typically comes at a lesser price point and that's because the "Samsung" branding alone, comes at a cost. The average Samsung fan(atic) is blind with lust and more than willing to pay. The Black color may be the least appealing of Samsung's offerings but it actually looks good when it's not covered in fingerprint smudges.
This version has no 5G support but there is a Samsung Galaxy A22 5G on the market, in some regions.
Price: The 4GB/64GB version retails for N89,100 ($180), while the 128GB/4GB version retails for N97,600 ($195)
Samsung Galaxy A22 Specs
• 6.4" HD+ 90Hz sAMOLED Display • Plastic Back & frame • MediaTek Helio G80 CPU • 48MP + 8MP+ 2MP +2MP Back Camera • 13MP Front Camera • 4+64GB / 4+128GB / 6GB+128GB - RAM/Storage • 5000mAh Battery (15Watt Charging) • Android 11 • 159.3 x 73.6 x 8.4mm & 186g

Lazyyouth4u: Don’t mean to be a spoil sport but looking at it this way can give someone a wrong impression that wealth is being created in the 15 years.
You may be getting coupons to pay your rent and school fees but at the end of the tenor your will get just your principal whose value and purchasing power would be way way less than when you invested that money.
Basically, the coupons that you are getting is not free money. It is your own money that is just being amortized for you in 15 years
gbengafaro1986: I am a very long term participant in the Nigerian Stock Market, i have been buying shares actively since i was 10, My Father is a distinguished stockbroker and i was very wise to also key in heavily during the Downturn in March/April 2020, i share very high optimism about our stockmarket BUT I would like to state that it is unwise to discard all that STNWAUME has pointed out about our market, it has been on a steady decline in the last 10years, it is worrisome, heavy devaluations and inflations have really stunted our growth and its almost like a Catastrophe the magnitude of what happened during the Pandemic is the only thing that affects our market , Participation of Millenials and Gen Z should be encourage in our market or over the next decade there wont be much of market left
condomuser: Hopefully you will get the point with this explanation. What gives crypto value is the number of persons holding it for example if ABC buys MATIC, the value of MATIC goes up and gets controlled by mathematical algorithm according to the buying and selling pressure. If ABC sell all their MATIC, the value goes to $0.000000. Then BCD will lose all their investment. If there is no money from the crypto hodlers, the value resets to $0.0000 and there is no fixed asset to be sold by MATIC to repay BCD.
With companies that sell stock and shares it's entirely different, when you buy a stock of a company, you own part of the company and receive dividends from performance of the company and share in profits.
Crypto may have lasted 10 years and with a $1.6T market cap, About 50 percent of that market cap is bags of shitcoin hodlers that got trapped in the bubble and they may never realise their initial capital ever.
This makes sense...and I had thoughts on this before
Unfortunately, the world itself...some things don't follow conventional sense(s).... cheers
SenecaTheYonger: For the bull run to continue, you need a fresh, untapped reservoir of greater fools who'll buy your bags at the top.
But who is left? Many are fully invested as they'll be in crypto since at least March and is now bagholding coins like Doge and Cardano.
People are desperately shilling each other their bags in youtube comments and completely unrelated Twitter threads.
There's nobody left, the dumb money has been completely tapped out. Has been for months. Now we're just descending down a spiral where people already in crypto shill to and dump on each other, eliminating people from the market one by one as liquidity dies.
It's over.
Lol.. Until the government stops manipulating currencyanf value....
Not to say much....I got 1million to invest in Cryptocurrency...This ain't my savings or something I'll put my mind on...Just don't wanna spend it frivolously.
