ROSSIKE:You do not know that human resources, more than material resources, are the most important a country needs to develop. Nigeria has had oil for nearly fifty years whither Nigeria!! Do you even know that the most advanced countries in the world have no crude oil, no palm oil, no coal, literally nothing? What does Japan have except hills and abundant human resources? What does land-locked Switzerland have except mountains and abundant human resources? ROSSIKE retire to your Arewa or Yoruba land. People from those lands make the type of argument you do; people from those lands expect barely literate leaders to rule them like cattle and foolishly expect such leaders to bring development to their country. |
tiger28:You sit comfortably wherever and drink rum or ogogoro while the people you fear use religious violence to cow you to submission. |
onyengbu:Uwazulike resurrected Biafra dreams but went astray when he took it as a means to make riches. You can stage marches for Biafra for decades without action, it is a waste of time. Action does not necessarily mean staying inside Nigeria and declaring Biafra and declaring war to realize Biafra. As the Radio Biafra makes people aware, in and out of the shores of Nigeria, as the kanu's move toward the World bodies in charge of peace to table the call for Biafra after demonstrating all the reasons for that, that's a sure step to realizing Biafra. Uwazurike was not on that direction. Stop making foolish arguments.... |
Demdem:Those you support who kept One Nigeria serially raped people's daughters and wives and killed them in warfare - and you beat your chest for that. Does that not fully demonstrate that you do not deserve to belong to one country with saner people campaigning to leave you and your Nigeria? |
Nigeria - one country too many nations. Some people in the south would run away with fear on seeing these traditional rulers from the north as they are dressed. |
Rilwayne001:Buhari is the CinC but does not command the Senate President or House Speaker. Else, why couldn't Jonathan as CinC sack Speaker Tambuwal? |
InMyOpinion:It is the duty of the senators to choose their principal officers - not Tinubu's or Buhari's or Oyegun's or any other person outside the Senate Chambers. |
joker5180:Saraki is a graduate of University of London. He knows the game of democracy more than many many many of those agbada shuffling senators who only believe that Baba Tinubu or Baba Buhari must have a say on who and who become the principal officers of the National Assembly - absurd in a true democracy to think that some one from the executive or from outside the legislature must participate in choice of principal officers of the legislative houses.. |
NgeneUkwenu:Does the US Democratic Party officials or President choose who leads the US Congress? The US Congress is another arm of government to checkmate the executive; like Nigeria's two Legislative Houses are another arm of government to checkmate the executive arm of government; Therefore if the US Democratic Party or Nigeria's APC officials, or the president of the country help choose the officials of the US Congress or Nigeria's National Assembly, the president shall be more of a dictator than a democrat. Accept your failure. You campaigned for and got the worsening of democracy in Nigeria. You campaigned for and got the reintroduction of dictatorship to Nigeria. And you are still campaigning for a National Assembly with leadership as rubber stamp of the executive - worsening dictatorship in Nigeria. |
.....adjourned till 21st July. That's nearly one month, but jumbo salaries and allowances must be paid. Task of fulfilling all the jumbo electoral promises by APC postponed. Change indeed. Even PDP was not as bad. |
@starboi63, take your time o. your title was Saraki appointed PDP member as CoS. But your story did not show that. |
North is afraid of anybody that can talk about political reforms and constitution amendment in the 8th national Assembly. North believes that the 19 states + Abuja political structure with large number of local govt councils proliferated all over north by northern soldiers, and with a 1999 constitution that legit the structure, must not be tampered with in a democracy. The undue high number of NASS members arising from the north's 19 states and Abuja makes some far north political class determine what can, or cannot take place in Nigeria - including who shall become president. This push may not be the end by northern legislators to remove Ekweremadu from the post of DSP which incidentally heads Senate constitution amendment committee. |
she looks young. she must have opened up till dawn the previous night. |
withdrawing 3million cash? he invited the hoodlums. |
withdrawing 3million cash? he invited the hoodlums. RIP |
Rashida, Rabiu, etc... sounds like the same violent people. Why don't they wait for 72 virgins thereafter, instead of killing because of Rashida here on earth? |

"theirs {APC's} is ostensibly a matter of obtaining power by false pretences." .... Yes, APC obtained power through lies and false pretenses; but why were PDP people unable to stop APC from using lies and false pretenses to obtain power? That still shows that Jonathan and Metu and others in PDP failed Nigeria - up to the country's hour of need. |
But na their religious culture. Even a Muslim president will like to sit on the floor. But he would pretend he can lead his country to the moon with space crafts. |
eneji50:Beginning year 2000, through Sani Yerima then governor of Zamfara state, leaders of the 12 northern Nigeria states adopted use of sharia criminal laws that include stoning adulterous women to death, cutting hands of petty thieves, etc. Shortly after that, Boko Haram emerged in the north and says it is fighting for a country friendly with use of sharia criminal laws. Millions of people in the north of Nigeria share same religious ideology with Boko Haram. So read why Boko Haram may never stop in Nigeria until; either all of Nigeria is governed by sharia criminal laws; Or a sharia-friendly country is carved out in the predominantly Muslim areas of north of Nigeria. or Nigeria splits into more governable countries. |
Bonapart:Pls stop lumping all of those crimes together. Crimes of armed robbery, Fulani herdsmen, rape, kidnapping; - they can easily be solved and stopped by a determined Police Force. But Boko Haram crime is a religious war. The objective of Boko Haram is nationwide use of sharia criminal laws, or a country in the north governed by sharia criminal laws. That objective of Boko Haram is being shared by millions of Nigerians in the 12 northern sharia states. That's why Boko Haram persists. |
Saklekplus:You get sharp tongue, no be small; but there is a time for everything. |
"Suleiman said the former administration as at May 29 left behind the sum of US$2billion, adding that the sum would have been higher if not the governors insistence on sharing the fund." APC and lies are like bread and butter. To cover a lie, one needs a lie to cover the lie, one needs another lie to cover the lie, and needs another lie to cover ....... APC came to power through lies, it must continue to look for lies to cover former lies.
|
They look like Biafra Children ooooooo |
APC- a party of people of different political leanings but brought together to sack Jonathan of Otuoke and his Ijoid and Igboid crew in Aso Rock. The party used all sorts of lies as propaganda against Jonah and his crew, even profited from violence of terrorists. To add to APC luck, Jonathan of Otuoke seemed to have decided to quit even before the last presidential election. |
"Senator Kabir Marafa, Zamfara Central and Senator Tayo Alasoadura, Ondo Central were involved in fisticuffs over their opposing positions." Na Abooooki VS Yorrober fight.
|
lemme find a solution for them APC: let ACN contribute one senate president; let CPC contribute one senate president, let ANPP contribute one senate president, let nPDP contribute one senate president; let Okorocha faction contribute one senate president.... Lol, Association of Progressive Crooks who used lies and profited from terrorists violence to send away Jonathan of Otuoke. |
tucky200:Right path to success ---- removing soldiers on roads, opening the way for terrorists to move down south. |
Downloading...... SW and its media lies and votes made thrice rejected Buhari to become president. SW must also open the reality that Buhari was not fit to become president of Nigeria awash with young and very well educated people. |
Kwankwaso a master? For where.....? 1, Kwankwaso makes waves because his state is rich through the huge monthly federal allocation it gets through the undue 44 Local govt councils which Abacha sprinkled in every small village in Kano state. 2, Kwankwaso barks a lot because through the 7 states Abacha sprinkled in his northwest zone, Kwankwaso's northwest zone gains most from Nigeria's shared revenues, the zone is unduly over represented in the NASS and in all other political gatherings of Nigerians, thus can easily liase with others to spurn legislation that may favour other parts of Nigeria. All along till today, kwankwaso's roaring have bordered mainly on his dreading any arrangement, or any politician that shall resurrect the restructuring of Nigeria's polity through a democratic means. For Kwankwaso, the 36 states + Abuja political structure which northern soldiers created - let no civilians ever restructure in a democracy. |
winetapper:Suya takes time to prepare. Stay awake early morning and roast your breakfast suya. You just de ask unnecessary question. |
