In 2001 in Kaduna, Buhari openly charged Muslims to ensure that sharia criminal justice system like stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off hands of petty thieves, etc. be applied in all of Nigeria - a pluralistic religious country.

Boko Haram says it is fighting for a country friendly with sharia criminal justice system.

These realities were hidden from foreigners by the media controlled by a section of Nigeria which was poised to see the exit of Jonathan and his crowd from government.

When PMB starts to clandestinely implement his religious beliefs he preached, all of Nigeria shall be in turmoil - as has been the north of Nigeria.
That time, the foreign leaders now itching to visit Buhari shall be exporting arms and ammunition to Nigeria. Or what have they done to stop Boko Haram menace in the last six years?

Obviously, Buharists are still on the presidential campaign train. Buharists don't feel that Buhari truly deserved victory last election given his antecedents.

Or what is the hoopla by Buharists about countries' leaders positioning themselves with visits to a new president of an oil producing country to reap better benefits from the country?

This type of publicity hoopla by Buharists is what you get when an election victory was won using criminal violence like the Boko Haram's, as well as falsehood propaganda as tools that hoodwinked the poorly educated Nigerian electorate.

Does Buhari care a hoot about Boko Haram? All he cares about is uninterrupted flow of crude oil in the Niger delta.

By the way, Buhari in 2001 asked Muslims to ensure that sharia criminal laws are implemented in all of Nigeria.
Boko Haram consistently insists that it is fighting for a country governed by sharia criminal laws.

PMB does not seem to understand that north of Nigeria is like Somalia - more or less. But he is focused on those he called crazy people that talk about splitting up the country.

Methinks, for Buhari and his fellow travellers on the boat of one indivisible Nigeria, so long as crude oil flows from the Niger delta areas, Nigeria is intact for them - no problems.

It's only a most diffident lot who brlieve they can't survive in a country without crude oil who would want to belong to a country like Nigeria wrecked by Boko Haram.
Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country friendly with sharia criminal justice system, sharia criminal justice system also adopted by 12 northern states before Boko Haram emerged.

Boko Haram persists in Nigeria because it has millions of people in northern Nigeria with whom it shares the same aspirations for a country governed by sharia criminal justice system.

Selfish Pursuits - all of them:

Baba Awolowo was promised by Fulani that he would succeed Yakubu Gowon. For that, Baba Awo advised Yakubu Gowon to jettison the Accord made in Aburi which was agreed upon by Nigeria and the rebel Eastern region in the presence of Internationale mediators.
The result was a nasty civil war that claimed nearly 2 million innocent lives, mostly children.

The kernel of the Aburi Accord was reintroduction of Regional government system with fiscal federalism.

Unarguably, the Southwest region, and indeed all parts of Nigeria, should have advanced by far with development, more than what they are today, if Aburi Accord was honoured.

when we thought we were consolidating southern cohesion to confront Fulani hegemony and stranglehold on the south of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu led the SW to Fulani and distorted all efforts of the south to have a foothold on Nigeria's political process.

Selfish pursuits all of them: to consolidate southern cohesion, OBJ as president looking for Third term sent Anenih to Enugu with most southern politicians in a conference where they declared that Nigeria's arrested development was because the people that had so far controlled Nigeria did not come from the area where oil proceeds that sustained Nigeria came from.

Your Ab0kis do not see 18 as the age of sexual maturity and thus defined a girl child as one who is yet to enter puberty.

In passing a bill, a consensus has to be arrived and the north brought their mohammedian doctrine to bear.

Blame the northern senators
Blame the useless 1999 constitution which allows for Sharia law
Blame Sharia
Blame Islamic doctrine
Blame Mohammed for liking small girls.

In bold:
the 1999 constitution only allowed sharia civil laws - not sharia criminal laws. Adoption of sharia criminal laws is unconstitutional. There is the belief that close to 90% of Nigerians are ignorant of this.

Sharia problems started in Nigeria only since 2000 when Sani Yerima introduced use of sharia criminal laws like stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off hands of petty thieves, etc., to the north of Nigeria; after which use of sharia criminal laws were adopted with speed in all the now 12 sharia states in the north of Nigeria. Since then worse religious problems have arrested development in Nigeria.

Lol, after President Buhari's unpardonable gaffes - President Michelle of West Germany, etc. etc. etc., after Buhari's early sore leadership steps, it is already dawning on Yaribawa that aged and aged Buhari could not have been a good choice for APC presidential candidate. But Yaribawa was warned several times.

Yaribawa fielded Buhari to sack Jonathan and his Omo Iboo and Ijor people; that was in a Nigeria awash with young and well-educated people.

Jagaband T. said it openly in a Buhari campaign trail in Lagos that he begged Buhari to contest for presidency this time.

Most of Yaribawa - old and young, professors, Nobel laureate, Catholic Cardinal and Bishops, retired military generals name them - they were bragging that Tinubu was their leader - be he a good or bad man. They all fought off Jonathan for Buhari as President of Nigeria.

How come the fight for Buhari's successor starts too early na - if he is good?

PDP is assured of losing if it it fields a northern candidate.

First, Buhari can't perform miracles, Nigeria may not have much better goodies from Buhari. Therefore, the disillusionment over northern candidates who had ruled Nigeria for long shall be great by 2019. Furthermore, the anger over APC's non deliverance of promised "Change" may pull people away from APC which fielded a northern candidate for the change it promised.

At least girls of ages 11 and below are now protected by the law.

Was that the case before as we had no Pedastry laws.

She was successful at passing Pedastry laws.

Her bill did not redefine the age of legal maturity but that of sexual maturity which was not her original intent to peg it at 11 but the legal age of 18.

Yerima is currently drafting his own bill towards reducing the legal age of maturity for the girl child.
You can hold your grouse with him on that.

Yeah, Anyanwu can only beat her chest because she has made a start to protect youngsters against adult sexual predators, not that her bill as passed went far.

A girl below 18 years is as much vulnerable to VESICOVAGINAL FISTULA, the dreaded disease that afflicts young girls penetrated in sexual intercourse by adult men.

After Anyanwu's long letter, she did not state the most important thing: did her bill stipulate at what age a girl shall reach so that any man who had sexual relations with her below that age has committed a punishable offence?

In the Western World, it is usually stipulated in black and white: 18 years. If a girl is below 18 years in the Western world, anybody caught having sex with her is punished by law.

.Until Nigeria is politically restructured democratically, far north of Nigeria which was deliberately favoured by the manner of distribution of the 36 states must continue to impose leaders like Buhari or even worse upon Nigeria.
