Another thing I remember Abacha for: Abacha created new states and left seven states in his northwest area, through denying a sixth state in the southeast area, thus leaving the other four zones with six states, and five states only in the southeast zone.

Today, that arrangement has created a super political class in the far north which uses overwhelming over representation in the polity to dictate the tunes in Nigeria.

About two years ago, Yakubu Gowon who started creating states lamented that states creation was ultimately hijacked to create a super political class in Nigeria - obviously in Abacha's far north of Nigeria.

Today's president Buhari told us that Abacha was not corrupt, and that was when Abacha's loots were being returned to Nigeria from all corners of the world. This is the first thing that I still remember Abacha for.

Taking a look at d delegation tells a lot of what PMB is going there to achieve:
-Danbazzau and Shettima tells one they are soliciting for help to fight BH with first hand info coming from the gov at d centre of d fight and d likely NSA that would outline how the PMB intends to tackle it.
-Fashola and Fayemi tells one that other strategic policy initiatives in other sectors would also be tabled and "a wish list" of the kinds of cooperation Nigeria needs.
PMB may even surpass our expectations.This is a president that really wants to turn things around.

Baba Buhari's only hope is to bring Western forces to confront a home made Boko Haram that has millions of people in the north who share same objective with Boko Haram - the objective is fighting till all of Nigeria is subdued to become a country governed by sharia criminal justice system.

Huge problem is that most of Nigeria below Rivers Niger and Benue are ignorant. Most of them do not even understand that Boko Haram is a religious movement fighting to make Nigeria a country governed with sharia criminal justice system that includes punishing adulterous women by stoning them to death, punishing thieves by cutting off their hands, disallowing women to go out unaccompanied by men, etc. So these Nigerians ruefully hope that one day Boko Haram can be conquered by force.

Only solution to Boko Haram is create a sharia country in the north as indirectly applied by northern leaders when they adopted use of sharia criminal laws beginning year 2000.

Stop Boko Haram by conceding sharia-friendly country to the12 northern sharia states. Boko Haram says it's fighting for a sharia-friendly country.
The 12 northern states adopted use of unconstitutional sharia criminal laws that include stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off hands of petty thieves.

Boko Haram and most of the leaders and people in the 12 states share same religious ideology of making Nigeria a sharia governed country after a long term. This is why Boko Haram persists.

If they ask u to come out of sambisa forest and visit other part of the country so that u will @least learn a little about nigeria, u will say stay with cow in the forest is better. Creating a Biafra nation shall stop Boko Haram violence in the north of Nigeria.


North of Nigeria is predominantly Muslim.

Christians and Muslims have lived in peace in the north for more than a century before Boko Haram emerged.

Boko Haram wants a sharia-governed country. Muslim north's 12 states want a sharia-governed country.

So creating Biafra nation shall leave a predominantly-Muslim north to practice sharia for Muslims in the north.


In a new north country, Northern Christians have to live life like before Boko Haram in a predominantly Muslim society.
Any northern Christian that does not want to live in a north country of sharia rule can relocate to a more favourable country.

But we cannot sacrifice the development of humanity in today's Nigeria because of fear that Christians in northern Nigeria may not get on well with their Muslim brothers in the north. No. Both northern groups have lived in peace, share common political objectives for decades before Boko Haram

The 1999 constitution is a document supervised by northern Nigeria soldiers. It was rushed to legit the lopsided and undue 19 states and Abuja in the once one region north of Nigeria, but only 17 states in the once three regions south. With three senators from each state, the north this possess near veto power on Nigeria's political process.

Without first restructuring Nigeria's polity for equitable representation between north and south of Nigeria, any amendment on the constitution is like brick layers atop a house shaking on its foundation and trying to amend the house.
