The fastest thing Buhari should have done is return regional government system with fiscal federalism to Nigeria to bring peace and development to all parts of Nigeria. A government must know that what those people did requires proper policing, not use of bombs and fighter jets to attack the area.

You may agree with bombings in the area because there's no oil to harness in your area, no militants clamouring for better deals from oil that comes from their area, hence you don't give a shiiit for collateral damages that must be done by the bombings.

How can Nigeria successfully fight off Boko Haram who shares common religious aspirations and value systems like millions of people in the north of Nigeria?

Nigeria's major problems are 1, the Major ethnic groups in Nigeria have divergent value systems; 2, presence of crude oil mostly in only one part of Nigeria makes Nigerians struggle against themselves over who sits in control of proceeds from oil, nstead of join hands to fight off any common enemy.

I have read some of your posts in the past and I must confess that you have something to offer provided you are able to channel your energy towards resourceful endeavours. But wait for it - at every local government federal allocations day, Kano officials move down to Abuja and collect largest share from federal revenues; lots of the federal revenues were gathered through VAT from sales of alcohol products in other states.

Nigeria is a wonderful country with a wonderful unitary government system.
