princejayboss:Masser sir, for safety sake, how about having Nigeria's nuclear facilities for electricity supply somewhere in the Atlantic ocean? |
princejayboss:By infrastructure, north is hundred times more developed than Southeast and Southsouth. Infrastructure in Kaduna or Kano alone surpasses what infrastructure that exists in the entire southeast. |
princejayboss:You are fooling JJC's. Oil must remain Nigeria's main source of income for decades to come. |
princejayboss:A country with 28, oil wells in the South, but northern people own 24 of the wells. Go tell the Prof. Tam David Wests of the Niger delta. David West hinself wouldn't even care if all the 28 oil wells belong to north, so long as a northern president appoints him a minister. In 2005 or so when OBJ was eyeing Third Term, he sent Anenih to assemble southern politicians in Enugu to tell them that Nigeria's underdevelopment was caused by a phenomenon of oil proceeds being managed by people from areas - north - that do not produce oil. Many from south fight against themselves, seek for their private pockets, while the north plans for overall good of the north |
After billions of Dollars oil revenues in Nigeria, irrespective of who is in Aso Rock, Nigeria has been under the grips of almajiri culture of bakwomi. So long as bakwomi culture springs up who ever shall lead Nigeria at every four years, Nigeria shall continue to remain bottom place. Worse is: this time, much of the money that should have gone to provide development infrastructure is now put into fighting Islamic terrorists from northern Nigeria. Pity Nigerians. |
Irrespective of who is in Aso Rock, Nigeria has been under the grips of almajiri culture of bakwomi. So long as bakwomi culture springs up who ever shall lead Nigeria at every four years, Nigeria shall continue to remain bottom place. If you are called a Nigerian , pity yourself. |
TheOtherview:@TheOtherview; You have a Herculean task ahead burnishing Buhari's image.Don't envy you. But better equip yourself by accepting the reality that Buhari has not kept track with global politics since IBB shoved him aside. |
Goddex:Tell Yaribawa media. They brushed Buhari up, painted him in nice colours after all the political jugernauts in Yaribaland including Nobel laureate, Catholic Cardinal, Bishops, retired Military generals etc. from Yaribaland decided that Ijaw and Nyamiri no go occupy Aso Rock any further than 2015.,North wouldn't have bothered over Jonathan till 2019 so that good presidential materials shall appear then from all parties But self-acclaimed sophisticated Yoruba were in a hurry for Buhari. |
Me sef and my folks, we don begin de tire for this Buhari this, Buhari that, since the man's inauguration as president. For calling Western Germany, Buhari must have been on hibernation since IBB terminated his government.. Whoever believed an African 70 something years old man is what Nigeria deserves for a president, that person is not well. |
Walkopet:More in the South West !!!! In the South West in the last two weeks, NDLEA has been laying siege on the house of one big guru accused of drug baroning. Hell for drug runners. |
bombay:Go tell that to the Yaribawas. Last presidential election, Arewa fcuuuuked the big bosses of Yaribawa, and by extension fcuuuuked the rest of south of Nigeria. Barely 10 days after inauguration of the new president, Yaribawa is already counting its losses.Yepp, today is June 12. Yaribawa most enlightened, educated and sophisticated - Arewa used to tell them this when it wants to fcuuuuk Yaribawa. |
About ten years ago Daar Communications danced around Nigeria's big cities and made many Nigerians buy shares in Daar Communications. Has anybody received any returns/dividends from the shares purchased then? Please let Yours Truly know how to get his dividends after many years of purchase of shares of Daar Communication. I have e-mailed Daar Communications office but no reply ever came. |
Yes, Yerima ran away with a bill that makes a little girl an adult once the girl is married - even at age six. Yes, Yerima brough sharia criminal laws to Nigeria and it spread like wild fire to 12 northern states of Nigeria; after which Boko Haram emerged and has maintained it is fighting for a country governed with sharia criminal laws. Despite all these, on any presidential election day, the Soyinkas would prefer a Sani Yerima to an Ebele Clark from SS or a Chukwuma Okoro from SE for president of Nigeria - the 2011 march for Jonathan was circumstantial. |
Hypocrite or confusionist at work? Soyinka loaded full for Buhari against Jonathan last presidential election. Did soyinka not know that Nigeria's skewed political structure gave undue over representation to those who love having sex with and marrying underaged girls? Can Soyinka swear that he did not know that a President Buhari must be indifferent or even say Aye to a law that makes an 11 year old girl eligible for sex? |
Jorussia:I hear you: You shall want Buhari at 80 years + to be your president. Some of you Buharists have gone nuts. Worst sin is that your lot drag rest of Nigeria who know better than you, and are far ahead of you, to remain nuts like you in one Nigeria. Nigeria' s lopsided political structure is what breeds second class leaders for Nigeria every four years since 1999. The structure under unitary government system breeds and feeds corruption. A Nigerian president in his late 70s may be asleep while the younger ones steal the country's money. Old age and weaknesses are glued together. |
Buhari knows this: the fastest means to send Boko Haram packing from Nigeria is ask the 12 northern states that adopted sharia criminal laws since 2000 to RENOUNCE the adoption. Boko Haram thrives in Nigeria because it has millions of people in northern Nigeria who share same religious values with Boko Haram: that is, a country governed by sharia criminal laws which include stoning women to death for adultery, cutting hands of petty thieves., etc. |
Methinks, Buhari May bring back British empire day for Nigeria, in place of Independence day. If Buhari finds himself incapable of presiding over Nigeria, let him quit. |
agarawu23:Look, Buhari doesn't know what to do to govern Nigeria. In history, there has never been a newly-elected leader of any African country going about Western European and African countries looking for help to contain the problems of his/her country, the way Buhari is doing. Something is wrong somewhere for Buhari. Even the Liberian woman president, Sirleaf, shortly after Liberia's civil war did not go cap in hand to the West and African countries for solutions to the country's problems. Remember Buhari antagonized Nigeria Army officers when he told them that their fight against Boko Haram amounted to a fight against the north of Nigeria. It appears Buhari is yet to have a common ground with those military officers. |
Stelvin101:Ignoramus, Libyans were rich and peaceful under Gaddafi, so why is poor you qualifying Ghaddafi as a tyrant? Iraq was never a breeding ground for terrorists under Saddam Hussein. Perhaps you meant to write Afghanistan. Your Boko Haram friends expanded because they have ideological friends in the 12 northern sharia criminal laws states. Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country governed by sharia criminal laws. If you are a Christian that takes shiiit, go eat more and more shiiit, Nigerian Christians don't take that anaaal shiiit. |
achmed1:Talk of Fighting corruption in Nigeria of unitary government system is being deceptive. It's like chasing shadow and ignoring the substance. No Nigerian was born to become corrupt. Corruption is ingrained in the increasingly over-centralized unitary government system in practice in a most pluralistic Nigeria. Buhari's north rejects fiscal federalism and regional government system which ought to drastically reduce corruption on Nigeria; because northern soldiers proliferated too many undue number of states and local government councils in the north. Through these excess number of states and local government councils in the north, northern politicians take home most of Nigeria's revenues, command undue over-representation in the NASS and in all aspects of the polity. Because of political instability that unitary system of government and lopsided political structure breed, many Nigerians in position of authority believe the country wouldn't last, they stash away government money in private banks - corruption. Buhari knows this. As for Boko Haram, any day the 12 sharia states renounce use of sharia criminal justice system which they adopted since 2000, Boko Haram shall disappear from Nigeria's soil. For now Boko Haram persists because the fighters have millions of ideological friends in the 12 sharia states of northern Nigeria. Buhari knows this. |
JackBaueress1:You foolishly believe they will spend their hard-earned kobo to help us fight Boko Haram without recovering hundred times that kobo? Oluku ten times. |
Stelvin101:Have you ever heard of late Mummar Gaddafi of Libya? Ever heard of Iraq? Lol. Pray for Nigeria, prayed for Buhari who feels incompetent to govern Nigeria without leaders of the first world |
Which is now more important to Cameron: withdrawal of UK membership of the European union, or joining UK with Nigeria since Buhari became President of Nigeria. But joining UK with Nigeria, entry and exit of both UK and Nigerian citizens to the UK and Nigeria must be visa free- no negotiations. |
lastpage:Bet my last bill: Once large quantities of crude oil are found in the SW region, Oduduwa Republic shall be born. |
May God let Lagos and SW Oil Output be bigger than from SS and SE very soon. This way, people of SW shall discontinue with their discouraging blackmail of people of SE and SS who would want their different countries from Nigeria. Once oil is found in greater quantities in the SW, the bondage people of former southeast region are kept in Nigeria shall be broken once the SW declares independence from Nigeria. |
A question to Akume: what happens to a scheduled election conducted when a political party was still squabbling over a candidate for the scheduled election? Answer for Akume: whoever emerged victorious in the election becomes the leader. |
Lol!! Buhari was barely elected President before he dumped Tinubu and his dependents. Tinubu and his dependents work on their belief that Buhari would soon die and Osinbajo takes over. |
But what can Saraki and Ekweremadu do to change the political structure and military constitution imposed upon Nigeria by northern soldiers? Nothing. Nigeria's military political structure and military constitution that legalizes the structure can only be changed in a National Conference - not posssible in the National Assembly With the 19 states + Abuja in the north, with three senators from every state, that assures that whatever north wants in Nigeria gets done. South of Nigeria was asleep when soldiers loyal to Fulani created the present 36 states political structure by wrongly using land mass as criterion to proliferate 19 states and Abuja in once one region north, but only 17 states in the once three regions south. Land mass is never used in any true federation to create federating units - as done in Nigeria. The political structure makes northern politicians smile home every allocation day with north getting most of Nigeria's revenues. |
PDP broke because Jonathan refused to quit after first term. Worse, Jonathan knew he was no longer keen on continuing as president, because according to him, it was like in a cage in govt house. But he refused to go. So PDP broke. PDP is most likely to reconvene as before, because APC is a merger of strange bedfellows, while PDP has long established mode of partying in politics. |
Reference:PDP divided because Jonathan refused to give up after first term, knowing full well that he was feeling like in a cage in govt House, hence he should have quit and allow PDP conduct presidential primaries; so now that Jonathan is gone PDP is at its intrigues again. PDP is the only political party with established modes.. PDP shall still remain in control of Nigeria because APC was a mere merger - never a political party. |
solid3:This is happening because APC has never been a political party. Different regions with different political objectives merged in APC with the objective of dethroning a president believed to be clueless. So after dethroning the clueless president, the differences between the different groups in the APC merger start to emerge. |
