AworiLagosian: Biko shut up.
There is no way Anambra in its entirety can contest with the combined economic strength of Kaduna + Kano... not to talk of one small local government called Nnewi.
Can't you see the stupidity of his statement? Speak from the point of knowledge not presumption. Nnewi is to industries what Brazil is to football. Same way every male child in Brazil has an element of football ingenuity, so also Nnewi can boast of not just an industry in almost any property but the boys there are brimming with ideas. It's not about landmass it's more about effective deployment |

Perhaps they wanted to cover up for such a beauty pageant selection in a state that has some of the most beautiful in the country Story. I should know. Efik girls are different from ibibio girls, both in elegance and all. Efik men are proud and will never be caught dead as houseboys unlike the akpans Ibibio men are lot more aggressive but subservient The afang soup is an exclusive preserve of the Efik Calabar has ekpe , ibibio has ekpo I can go on and on So don't try to confuse the uninitiated |

id911: I'm very confused. I don't know what to do but I need advice from nairalanders, serious one on how to navigate safely through this stormy waters.
I'm in my early thirties, unfortunately not working at the moment but still searching and believing I'll get one soon. I had an accommodation problem and someone who is like an aunt offered I stay in her house until I can sort myself out. I didn't have any other alternative still don't have at the moment so agreed and moved in due to my situation. She's a close family friend. Her mom was my late mom's best friend.
She's married with two kids and her husband is a state agent; he works with one of the Federal Security Agencies. Please I don't want to be specific. The husband is far way from us here in Lagos and comes home once in a while so it's always two of us especially when the kids have gone to school.
She wants me to sleep with her and has been disturbing a hell out of me. I've tried to let her know why this isn't possible since she's married but it's like I'm talking to a stone. She practically naked herself recently and held unto me but I used an extremely diplomatic tone and much pleading before she could let go of me. But she told me I must look for her soon; don't know what that means.
I never have a thought of sleeping with any married woman because I don't just think It's a right thing to do. Me self wey no gukuma get time for single ladies na married woman come dey disturb person. Me don tire for this kind thing o

The ibos should stop acting confused if you really want to break away from Nigeria, then you need to stop running to other part of Nigeria. If we conduct a census today, we will find out that there are more ibos in Kano state than they are in Ebonyi which is even an ibo state We want an articulated dismemberment so you don't turn our defenceless mothers and kids to cannon fodder. Politics › Re: Enugu State Police Warns IPOB, BIM, Says It'll Resist Sit-at-home On Biafra Day by hardbody: 12:03pm On May 24, 2017 |
Youngadvocate: The Enugu State Police Command has fired warning to the Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, and Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, stating that it would resist any attempt by the groups to force people to stay indoors on May 30, as they celebrate the 50 years of declaration of the defunct Biafran Republic.
BIM and IPOB in their separate ways, had continued to sensitize their members on the planned planned sit-at-home through their sensitisation programme by appealing to the “Biafrans,” to observe May 30 as the 50 year anniversary of the declaration of Biafra by late Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu by sitting at home.
According to Vanguard, it has also been posting videos and sending oral messages in various languages in the South-East and South-South, including Igbo, Urhobo, Izan, Itsekiri, Isoko, pigin English, among others, through WhatsApp to the Biafrans on the need to stay at home on that day, which was also meant to honour those who died fighting to realise the dream country.
However, a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the command, Ebere Amaraizu, in Enugu, yesterday, on the campaign by IPOB that traders and other major stakeholders should sit at home as a sign of respect for those who died during and after the three years civil war from 1967 to 1970, warned that the police would not shirk in its responsibilities of maintaining peace and order.
Amaraizu’s statement read in part: “The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, wishes to inform members of the public, particularly the good people of the state, that its attention has been drawn to an alleged sit-at-home order being circulated by groups of persons masquerading under the aegis of Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, among others. “
In view of the above, the command wishes to advise members of the public to disregard such order and go about their normal lawful businesses as the state command, in partnership with other sister security agencies in the state as well as relevant stake holders, is assuring members of the public of their safety and security in the state.”
“The command in addition, reminds those fanning embers of any unlawful act together with their supporters to desist from any act capable of truncating the existing peace in the state as anyone caught, will be made to face the law.”

softwerk: According to several studies conducted by leading doctors, medical and experts deaths during consensual sex account for approximately 0.6% of all sudden deaths. Here are a few ways this can happen.
1. Cardiac Arrest A study conducted by a leading American medical journal has revealed that each additional hour of sexual activity per week resulted in an increased risk of 2-3 myocardial infarctions (heart attacks) and one sudden cardiac death per 10,000 person.
2. Haemorrhage Experts say that indulging in sexual intercourse can trigger a subarachnoid haemorrhage i.e. is bleeding into the subarachnoid space—the area between the arachnoid membrane and the pia mater surrounding the brain via the Valsalva maneuver. The Valsalva maneuver is performed by moderately forceful attempted exhalation against a closed airway, usually done by closing one's mouth, pinching one's nose shut while pressing out as if blowing up a balloon.
3. Infidelity A study also found that the "deceased is usually married; he is not with a spouse and in unfamiliar surroundings," and death usually occurs after "a big meal with alcohol." So, men who were unfaithful were significantly more likely than those who were faithful to experience severe or fatal cardiac events during sex. A related study seemed to support the death during extramarital sex theory. Fourteen of the 20 cases of coital death, happened during an affair. "Dying in the saddle" is another popular euphemism for death during sex.
4. Sex Drugs Viagra use has been linked to sudden cardiovascular death during sexual activity among elderly or otherwise infirm men. Researchers also say that prescription or recreational drugs, such as cocaine can also possibly contribute to unexpected deaths during consensual sex.

Irrespective of party, the leaders must find a way to work together I hope the south here does not mean pairing the SE with the SW. In this forum alone, ignorance has been raised to a height where each and every yoruba person believes that Biafra is the worst thing that could happen to Nigeria.
