THe 90 silk wigs must each have taken one junior with them under the rules of practise. I cant stop laughing. The judge never see intimidation and i am sure the EFCC team must be asking themselves what led them into this show of shame. EFCC is police, Lawyers teach the police even at the police college, so they should learn to respect their superiors. |

Ndolarr: 90 end time Stupid Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) following a fellow rogue SAN to court to intimidate the judge! They are shameless indeed!! I wish someone could publish their names for the public to know the real enemies of Nigerians. They should be charged for copyright infringement as they just copied the concept from Saraki and fellow rogue Senators without permission!!! If I were the judge, I will simply jail the Tarfa and see if heavens will fall. These lawyers are unfit for a sane society, their place is in the jungle. Shioor. Limited knowledge at work. Where ignorance is bliss, i guess it is folly to wise. |

Elosky20: Gang of 90 armed robbers trying to protect a thief. How can u bring 90 SANS to defend a case, they should knw that intimidation in a court is not allowed, Shut up. If i had heard about the matter, I would have appeared with at least another 40 wigs. These EFCC guys are beginning to feel too important. They want Rickey detained? Like seriously? Over what? Madness at its apogee. What do you mean by intimidation of the court? why didnt the judge walk them out. They had right of appearance up to Supreme court and even if all the lawyers in Nigeria choose to appear for a single accused, there is nothing anybody can do about it. |

CaaseStudy: lol. You have mapped out your path. Kudos to you. Some people will just be their best in a paid job. Many however are destined to greatness via the SE route but due to fear and uncertainity stick to their average life on a paid job. Dont misrepresent me but most of the benefits which tie us down while working for others are minute to what we can achieve going self employed. The dangotes, gates and zuckerbergs of this world are living proofs to this fact. Lastly that company one is toiling away his future under is owed and run by some persons and those persons are definitely self employed, why not aim to be like them I quite feel you bro. I am not in any way demeaning your chosen path either. Perhaps I am a wimp but I have also reasoned that the probability of being a second Dangote in Nigeria will lie on a probability of one to one fifty million. Same as a zuckerberg or a Bill Gate. Perhaps some of us have chosen to remain average for fear of losing out on the bigger pie. I wish you well sir. |

I am sooooooooo not quiting my regular employment until I have made piles of money and huge investments in estates and cash reserves. This job is paying my bill's and providing for tons of others. This job fuels my car's, got me a 13. 5KVA gen, provides 200 litres of diesel to run it monthly, gives me access to Ikoyi Club.... endless opportunities. I will only leave when practice can provide a back up while my investments continue to multiply and take care of this life style I have grown to have.

If you had paid one year, collect your receipt as proof. You are then entitled to 6 months notice. If you do not have a receipt, it will border on oral evidence. It might be a lot difficult for you to prove. Of course he can be asked to produce a duplicate but in the end, having a receipt strenghtens your position. God be with you. |

adewumiopeyemi: I smell markeetiing or saless agent in this corneertone recruitment Wrong. In my days there, they used to recruit minimum of two-one. Train them around all the job functions and then after 1year, they settle into the job function that they are best suited. Unfortunately, you cannot pin down people with those grades, so they end up leaving the system, and the circle starts all over again. Please do not use these sort of suggestions to discourage people who may be minded to have a go at it. At any rate, even those people in marketing are given all the tools to do the job including marketing cars. Please note, i am not talking about tied-agents, Those ones dictate their pace and are paid only commissions and bonuses. This recruitment is basically for staff on a regular monthly salary with all the other conditions of service attached to their employment status. |

Bbsharon: Awo Boys will not kill me o... I was reading at Awo cafe(a male hostel cafeteria in Obafemi Awolowo University) last night when one funny looking dude walked in. There is this air of naughtiness around him,he took his seat directly facing me as I pretended not to notice him. Then he brought out a coca-cola bottle drink and stared sipping, I wondered why he was sipping it as coffee. I decided to mind my business and face my book until he brought out a big headset and switched on the music that I could audibly hear every lyrics and beats.I decided to ignore at first untill I could not take it anymore and told him to please tune it down a bit. Well he did to my surprise but after about 10minutes increased it again infact louder than before. I just stared at him, shaked my head and started packing my things. Suddenly this guy stood up, looked up, shaked his head vigorously and sat down and continued sipping. Immediately I packed my things and changed seat , I noticed some guys at his back laughing out of control so out of curosity I approached them and ask what was wrong with the guy. I got this reply. "Babe you see that bottle in his hand is nothing like coke o, he must have mixed several concotions and alcohol just to stay awake to read"
I burst into laughter. Silly guy, only God knows what he was up to during the day that he could not read and probabaly he has test tomorrow and want to do night reading by force by fire.
Typical of an Awo guy tho, same awo hall I went to last semseter block 7 to be precise where one guy was complaining of how his beans got stolen from his pot.
Just sharing my experience na, all this bad belle people saying is not funny. If that was my intention I would have put it in joke section. Great write-up. Next time it is 'shook my head'.....not 'shaked my head' |

Its sad how some people have responded sarcastically. It can happen to anyone here. However my input is simple. The woman and her child were wrongly arrested and detained. Police may claim that the 'Dud Cheque' is the reason for the arrest, but reality is that this should be a basis for arresting the man and not his family.
Recourse? She should sue the Police, The Company, the Lady Sales agent and the IPO. The suit should be filed against them 'jointly and severally' so that judgment against all or any can be executed against any of them.
In the alternative, they should sue the IPO as an individual and claim that he acted outside the scope of his employment, trust me police will let him carry his cross and when you get judgment, make sure i take everything he has in life as damages.
Thank God sha for knowledge.
I hope they get justice. |

speaking seriously, a guy should not date you. He must come with determination to marry you irrespective of the compatibility status. Do you want an in and out? Because that is the direction this your desire is leading. Allow people to come into your life, sift the wheat from the chaff and study your prospect as he studies you too, so that you both can have a lasting marriage. Just saying. |

I giggle anytime I hear these children of hate claim they own lagos. Lagos was a big metropolis owned by the Yorubas before they came, and it will remain so after they left. Dummy, Igbos were here in Lagos then, the only difference is that the white men had not allowed your urchins called street boys to take over parking lots and start extorting money and doing alaye on the streets. I hope these same people saying Ikpeazu should step down and Alex Otti be sworn in, also agree that Wike should have stepped down and allow fresh election be conducted after Wike lost his appeal? Because if that is not their opinion, then they are hypocrites.
What is good enough for PDP in Rivers state, should also be good enough for PDP in Abia. What did the court rule in both matters. It is the ruling of the appeal court that is being sought to be executed. Even if a governor is wrongly sworn in, he can still be removed after a fresh judgment is received from the supreme court. Until that happens, let the rule of law prevail and Ikpeazu should comply. This executive rascality should no longer be condoned. |
