[quote author=Walspring post=47021169]Prove it joor no be mathematics you dey study Because one science student prove the question below; Science Student Can Prove Anything For 10 Marks Question : Show that PAPA = MAMA Education Student ” Out Of Course” Art Student ”No Way” Commerce Student ”Cannot Be Proved” but Science Student Its Simple Solution Proof As we know, Pressure(P)= Force/Area i.e P = F/A ∴F = PA ⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅(i) Now ,aacording to Newtons 2nd law of Motion, Force(F) = Mass(M) × Acceleration(A) i.e F =MA ⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅(ii) Equating equation (i) and (ii) PA = MA Squaring both sides (PA)² = (MA)² (PA).(PA) = (MA).(MA) ∴ PAPA = MAMA (QED) PROUD SCIENTIST!!. Wow, what a great prove. |

akins2016: Me: Good morning VO: Good morning VO : Pass me ur documents Me : (Gave her my passport with I-20 in between) VO : (looked through my I-20) ME: (Watching for about a minute or so) VO: So what's your research topic? ME: ( I didn't hear what she asked oo) What? VO: (Asked again) ME: (Stuttered a bit) I'm just going for a Masters Degree in Mathematics. VO: Yeah, but you should have a research you'll be working on. ME: (Wondering...research ke? Na wa ooo) Okay, I'll be working on Development of Mathematical Models that can be used to solve real life problems, ranging from health to production and so on (I didn't plan for that because I don't have a research, but I was very well prepared prayerfully. So I just said what came to my mind sha) VO: (Nodding and typing very fast, also taking momentary CLOSE look at my I-20) Okay Okay. (Picked the white paper and passed it to me with my I-20, then she said the usual stuff) You'll need this (I-20) at the Port of Entry ME: (sincerely I thought she wanted to pick a blue paper because she had the highest denial before I got interviewed. Infact, when the CGI told me I will be next to 'patronise' the woman, I just started hoping for the worst, but expecting the best. Just like that? What did I say wrong? Now now? Was she in a hurry? I started wondering why this woman will not allow me prove myself by at least asking more 'usual' questions. On seeing the white paper, mehhn, I just grabbed it with my I-20 and rushed out before she'll change her mind, because I was asked just a question, which was about research. Omo na case of answer one question, get one free visa oo. All thanks to God. After I initially got a TB, God vindicated me. FAITHFUL GOD. congratulations kunle |

simayanki4real: Hello people,
My brother has been denied twice at the U.S Embassy in Lagos for an F-1 Visa. He got admission into MBA at Texas Women University in Denton. Each consular officer seems to ask why he chose Texas Women University specifically. Meanwhile the university started admitting men in all programs on 1994.
I need advice from the forum, should he go back with the same school or get admission somewhere else against Spring 2017. Thanks for the advice. that is my school |

landuseact: I noticed that a lot of people have been asking questions relating to Graduate Assistant positions. I want to suggest that people shouldn't just focus on GA positions within the department they are seeking admission. Also go to the job hiring site of the school and check for available GA positions in other non-academic offices on campus. If you can reach out to other Nigerians that hold GA positions in the schools you are interested in, that could help too. For example here at NIU, being referred is the easiest way to get a GA position especially if the person doing the referral has impressed his employers. you are 100percent correct. I got my GA through referral. my department is mathematics and computer sci and my GA is in school of management. different departments. So according to landuseact check other departments, if Ur own dept is currently not hiring GA. |

Now let me tell my story. it all started like this. my uncle called me 2013 to start my application to a US university that he is ready to carry all d expenses. I Neva answered him but he keep pressing on me to start the processing. well I started application to schools I got admission and my visa was approved last year. when I called this man he changed his mind DAT he is not ready to sponsor again that there is no money. Well with faith my parent gather the money dey had and the money I saved n I got to the state January 2016 with no instate waiver. But immediately i got to school I started going to financial aid office and I got scholarship. I also met a Nigeria who introduced me to an African professor n through that professor I got a graduate research assistant job which I will start next week. It has just been God. its not easy to survive in this country.
cutconnec don't give up. keep on pressing God will see you through. |
