The Man Christ Jesus. (Matt 1:23, 1John 5:20, John 1:1). Christ is 100% human and 100% God. He isn't 50/50 as preached by some people. He's fullness of God, and he's a man. We shall get to know why he became man. Acts 2:22, 1Tim 2:5, Luk 2:6-7, Luk 2:52. These scriptures tell us the attributes that show Jesus to be a man and God. His Man Nature. He was hungry(Matt 4:2), thirsty( John 19:20), slept( Matt 8:24). He showed emotions - anger(Mark 3:5), Sorrow( John11:35). He loved(John 13:23), bitter in spirit(John 12:27), fatigue(John 4:6). He died(John 19:30). Jesus is fully God and fully human. (Rom 9:5, Col 2:9, Matt 1:21-23). Why Did he become human? 1. To become our Priest. (Man before God). He is out faithful high priest. He needed to be God to know the mind of God and man to know the needs of man. Only God can pray to God. (PS 24, Eph 2:12-20, 1Tim 2:5, 1John 3:1, Heb 8:1, 7:26, 2:17, 3:1, 4:14-15, 5:1-10). Job had no mediator between himself and God, nobody!(Job 9:32-33) The problem of Job was however that he didn't read the first chapter of his own book. He didn't know God trusted him instead of hating Him. His 2nd problem was that he didn't read the last chapter of his Own book. Jesus Christ of Nazareth Is our great high priest. (Heb 2:17-18, Heb 4:14-15, Heb 7:23-25). He's our advocate( 1John 2:1, Rom 8:37). He pleads on our behalf. Father, give him a last chance, and the last chance isn't exhausted. He pleads our cause. 2. To become our adequate sacrifice. (Propitiation) He's the one that was sacrificed for us and as an offering onto God. 1John 2:2, Heb 2:17-18, Heb 10:5-10. 3. To become God's prophet to represent God before man. He as the high priest represents man before God and as our prophet, represents God before man. John 14:9-10, 5:37-38, 12:49-50, Luk 10:22, Col 1:15. 4. To become our peace. He became our peace to destroy the works of the devil. He rebuked the wind ans calmed the storm. Heb 2:14, Rev 1:8,18. 5. He is our perfection. He's our all in all. Look up to Jesus the author and the finisher of your faith. He's our perfect example. (Phil 2:5-11). He was so humble and loving that he gave up all for us. God lifted him up. The way up is down. Jesus Christ, the beginning and the end, alpha and omega. Jesus loves you. Hallelujah! Stay blessed! |

Report has it that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, will hold a National Executive Council meeting this week to determine the direction of the ongoing national strike action. All branch chairmen are expected to be in Abuja today for the meeting which is expected to end on Saturday. .... .... The branches of the union yesterday held a meeting to vote whether the strike should continue or not. It is based on these votes the Executives of the union will decide on Whether or not to continue with the strike action. The President of ASUU, Biodun Ogunyemi when contacted to comment on the development said he will only speak after the executive meeting. However, one of the Branch Chairmen of the union from a university in the southern part of Nigeria who spoke to newsmen said, “From the Southern part of the country and some parts of the North, universities voted for continuation of the strike; but we cannot tell now until after the meeting of NEC.” https://myschool.com.ng/school/news/55718/many-universities-voted-for-strike-to-continue-ASUU-chairman.html |
Where were you? Were you not at the meeting?? ? Meanwhile read this A letter to JAMB With due respect professor Oloyede and all stakeholders In the education sector, I stand to challenge this year's admission policy as it is not in anyway good for our education system. I really don't know the idea behind the pegged cut off mark but it's really a shock to many Nigerians. We find it uncalled for to make 30% the benchmark. Nigeria's education is yet to be standard yet we are bringing in unstandardized policy to destroy the education system. Federal polytechnics find it difficult to admit all 180 scorers, do you think making it 100 will make a difference? I understand the fact that institutions might raise the cut off marks to their standard but the message the cut off is sending is simply that Nigeria's education is below standard but Universities can choose to adopt whatever standard. I speak on behalf of everyone who wants the best for Nigeria. We hope that a review will be done and next year wouldn't be a shock when 50 might be the benchmark. Thanks. Anonymous |

Lalasticlala come and see the truth of the matter. We need to do Sth and it starts now |
Are you not tired of Nigeria's politics and political environment? America's elections held after Nigeria's and both parties are working together to achieve a greater America. In Nigeria, 2015 election lost is still a headache for PDP and loyal members. I'm not trying to pick on PDP, but the political environment of my father land. Fayose and Femi Fani Kayode wished Mr. President dead and could still boldly say that anywhere, defend it. These Misters called Buhari a dictator and military ruler. I wonder why Buhari hasn't ordered them killed. That's not the point. I really won't dwell much on the mistakes and flaws of these insensitive leaders of ours ruling us from ages and kept on putting us in darkness. My father land became a nation where the President is loved by his own people and people who share the same ideology with him. No patriot! Oh, you thought APC is right? PDP is better? We're just being deceived by the same set of cabal who wants to ground this country to a halt! The media is a tool for causing chaos in the political atmosphere. I don't know if science ever discovered that there is political pollution which could either help or reduce other pollutions. That's not the point today. What's wrong with our political environment? It's dirty and corrupt, full of lies and misinformation. Monies are being looted and yet supporters will drive and dance on the Path of corruption. It's tiring. It's annoying. It's heartbreaking that our problems years ago are being prolonged by these selfish leaders. Hear me right. No one is Yet a true leader Nigeria deserves to change us. President Buhari might have good intentions. He has lost the will to rule as a result of ' cabalisation '. Learning is handicapped formally and informally. Electricity is a problem. Transportation is a problem. Football is paralyzed. Now what's working well? Someone from somewhere will shout, Buhari!!! Are we that daft not to understand what government is all about? Who will change this country? Buhari? Hell No! I want you to know that these selfish, wicked and perverse political generation are only feeding on the inadequate knowledge we have about Nigeria's politics. Before I stop, let me say this. Buhari's office that is under construction should generate questions and not baseless criticisms. If his office was attacked by rodents, what makes it a ' No Go Area ' for them? I won't end without giving a solution. What's the way out? The way out is a source of sorrow and disappointment to us. Youths of Nigeria! The youths are yet to get it right. The youths are involved in agitations That Won't but slow us down. Until the youths activate their interests in growth of Nigeria, we may not get anywhere. I'm not saying a youth must be a president or governor. What is paramount Is that the love is kindled IN us! We can't be like America if we don't emulate their governance system and political environment. Change is not a day thing. It will take years amidst all ups and downs. It's a time to get it right! #solution |

Lalasticlala Nigerian universities set for more crises as SSANU, NASU, NAT meet on nationwide strike |
Three major non-academic staff unions will decide on Wednesday whether to join the strike by university lecturers, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/240937-nigerian-universities-set-for-more-crises-as-ssanu-nasu-nat-meet-on-nationwide-strike.html

It was gathered on Sunday that the union would meet at zonal levels nationwide, where the members would determine whether to accept the offers made to them or not. It was learnt the union would take a position on the ongoing strike which had paralysed academic activities in state and federal universities. The Chairman, UNIAbuja chapter of ASUU, Dr. Ben Ugheoke, confirmed that the union would hold a crucial meeting on the labour action. He explained that after the zonal meetings, the decisions would then be communicated to the national executive council of the union which would take a final position on the issues. “After the zonal meetings on Monday, the outcomes of the meetings would go through another process before a final decision is taken, it is a tortuous process,” Ugheoke explained. The Federal Government had during the meeting with the ASUU leadership in Abuja offered to pay N23bn and a monthly payment of N1.5bn pending the outcome of the forensic audit being carried out by the Ministry of Finance. The government had also yielded to other demands by the ASUU leadership led by its President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, Vice-President, Emmanuel Osodeke, a former union president, Dr. Dipo Fashina, and another member. The government team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, was said to have rejected the union’s demand for exemption of universities from the Treasury Single Account. Meanwhile, ASUU has dismissed a statement credited to a former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, in which she said the union’s demands were unrealistic. The UNIAbuja ASUU Chairman said she should propose realistic alternatives rather than condemn the union’s demands which he said were meant to reform university education in the country. Ugheoke explained that the N1.3tn university revitalisation fund would not go to ASUU, noting that the union had proposed to the government how the money should be utilised to ensure it did not end in private pockets. The university teacher said when Ezekwesili was trying to get the government to privatise the unity schools as the education minister; she hinged her argument on the poor state of the schools. He wondered why she was condemning ASUU’s demands which he described as “agitations for the poor.” He said, “What is unrealistic about ASUU’s demands? It means she was engaged in cheap deceit of the highest order, she is unrealistic. “Let her state those demands she feels are unrealistic and then propose alternatives and you would see that she would propose no alternatives other than raising of school fees. That is what she is going to come up with.” The News Agency of Nigeria had earlier reported Ezekwesili on Sunday of saying that ASUU demands were unrealistic in the light of the current economic situation in Nigeria. The former minster said the lasting solution to the crisis bedevilling the education sector could only be found from strong analysis of the issues raised by ASUU and evidenced-based policies. “Money is not limitless and yet everyone must acknowledge that investment in education is crucial and it is key. “There are, however, some fundamental reforms that the sector needs in order to ensure that it is not about the size of the funding but about the productivity of the funding. “You cannot simply express a desire, it must be founded on reality and that means you must know what can be achieved within a given period,” she said. According to her, a structural and policy change which allows public and private investments should be integrated into the university system. “If you remember, the ASUU negotiation started in 2007 when I was the Minister of Education and we constituted a government negotiation team, led by the late Gamaliel Onosode. “Even though that period was short, one of the major issues for me was for us to make sure that we were being evidenced-based in the way we were solving the problem. “We considered issues like the existing model |

THE Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has described as speculative reports that the strike embarked by the union over the inability of the Federal Government to implement the 2009 agreement it willingly entered with the union would be called off today. ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, said he was surprised about the reports making the round when the issues tabled before the government had not been resolved. The ASUU President said: ‘’We have been duly informed of a purported rumour credited to ASUU national secretariat which stated that it has instructed members and students to return to full academic activities next week is in circulation. “Please this information is totally false. The information is surely a gimmick used by the insensitive government, other disoriented Nigerians and politically hungry individuals to cause confusion amongst ASUU members and Nigeria students.’’ According to him: “A meeting held between the Minister of Labour, Minister of Education and representative of ASUU ended in a deadlock and there was no compromise on our demands. Talks with the relevant government agencies resume this week.’’ Ogunyemi urged Nigerians to disregard and dispel the rumour or any other information being circulated in the social media. Meanwhile, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to speak on the prevailing indefinite strike declared by ASUU to ensure that students return to school at the earliest convenience. NANS president, Comrade Chinonso Obasi, lamented that Nigerian universities were regrettably missing in the recently launched Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP). In a statement made available to The Guardian yesterday in Abuja, the students body stated that Nigerian students and youth should be included in decisions making process on issues that concern them to enable them actively participate and contribute to the development efforts of the nation. https://m.guardian.ng/news/ASUU-denies-plan-to-call-off-strike/ |
Someone will say something. ......!!!!!! ASUU is stupid ooo! Why will they go against it |
DZTech1:so fighting corruption meant you won't bribe lecturers again, you wont bribe policemen again.. Think straight at some levels and imagine if you ever thought corruption will be eradicated with your dirty acts and mind.. |
