Where were the Supporters when Mazi nnamdi kanu was saying the following?
"I will go to Abuja, and when am coming home I will bring Buhari's head"Nnamdi Kanu. " If they don't give us Biafra, there will be nothing left breathing in that zoo called Nigeria" Nnamdi Kanu. "Its either Biafra or death" Nnamdi Kanu. "If they don't give us a date for referendum, there will be no election in Anambra or any part of Biafra land" Nnamdi Kanu. " It is clear that the only language the zoo called Nigeria understands is war and death and we are ready for war" Nnamdi Kanu. "From today forward, I put the protection of Biafra land in the hands of the Biafra Security Services" Nnamdi Kanu.(no wonder ipob started collecting Taxes) " If the zoo Army enters Biafra land, they will die" Nnamdi Kanu. "Buhari is a mad man" Nnamdi Kanu. "I call on all Igbo's who have the know how to manufacture bombs, arms and ammunitions to come forward, we need to take this war to the zoo ( via Biafra radio). Nnamdi Kanu. He publicly made the above statements and even more, some of us didn't think he went too far, nor caution him or publicly denounce what he is doing, but now, tongues are quick to wag in condemnation of the Nigerian Army's action. We pray God's wrath, come down hard on all the enemies of peace and their sponsors plus supporters.

I just wonder. What's the problem with the IPOBs. I don't want to say Igbos because majority of them aren't in support. Now, many of the supporters or better still, haters of this present govt continue to ask, how about Fulani herdsmen, how about arewa youths? Hummm. Don't you see the approach towards solving the arewa youths initiation of war and that of the Fulani herdsmen. Whether you like it or not, a sensible govt Wouldnt for any reason arrest people who have not been charged to court and narrowly withdrawn their statements, even lawyers have no say. Now to the Fulani herdsmen, these are people who could even kill their children cos of their cows, we all understand. Now they've been called to a meeting, when you are in the south, behave like a southerner. How many times did we hear them go around looking for how to make abia state a cattle ranch or Rivers? Aren't the IPOBs or the Igbos aware of the end of senseless wars. Let us not forget that they have been like this from 1960. Can't our Igbos counterpart just calm down and embrace peace. As a matter of fact, the declaration of IPOB as a terrorist group was done by a son of the soil. Now, Nnamdi kanu is petitioning UK, EU and others, after starting the war? Can you see how useless it is? His family members abroad tuning to channels television to see how the market is for the husband. Don't you get it? Nnamdi Kanu and his supporters are too small for the black policemen not to talk of the army. Whether you like it or not, IPOBs are threat to the national security and they should be treated as such. Why was Jonathan at rest and no agitation? Let's all know that Boko Haram, and the recent terrorist group are all ideas, plans and handiwork of mischievous politicians.

Christianity EtcWhat Does The Bible Say About Spiritual Warfare? by Hardeysolution(op): 5:24pm On Sep 15, 2017
Understanding Spiritual Warfare
Question: "What does the Bible say about spiritual warfare?"

Answer: There are two primary errors when it comes to spiritual warfare—over-emphasis and under-emphasis. Some blame every sin, every conflict, and every problem on demons that need to be cast out. Others completely ignore the spiritual realm and the fact that the Bible tells us our battle is against spiritual powers. The key to successful spiritual warfare is finding the biblical balance. Jesus sometimes cast demons out of people; other times He healed people with no mention of the demonic. The apostle Paul instructs Christians to wage war against the sin in themselves (Romans 6) and warns us to oppose the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10–18).

Ephesians 6:10–12 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” This text teaches some crucial truths: we can only stand strong in the Lord’s power, it is God’s armor that protects us, and our battle is ultimately against spiritual forces of evil in the world.

Ephesians 6:13–18 is a description of the spiritual armor God gives us. We are to stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and by praying in the Spirit. What do these pieces of spiritual armor represent in spiritual warfare? We are to know the truth, believe the truth, and speak the truth. We are to rest in the fact that we are declared righteous because of Christ’s sacrifice for us. We are to proclaim the gospel no matter how much resistance we face. We are not to waver in our faith, trusting God’s promises no matter how strongly we are attacked. Our ultimate defense is the assurance we have of our salvation, an assurance that no spiritual force can take away. Our offensive weapon is the Word of God, not our own opinions and feelings. And we are to pray in the power and will of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is our ultimate example of resisting temptation in spiritual warfare. Observe how Jesus handled direct attacks from Satan when He was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1–11). Each temptation was combatted with the words “it is written.” The Word of the living God is the most powerful weapon against the temptations of the devil. “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11).

A word of caution concerning spiritual warfare is in order. Nowhere in Scripture are we instructed to cast out demons or even to speak to them. The name of Jesus is not a magic incantation that causes demons to flee from before us. The seven sons of Sceva are an example of what can happen when people presume an authority they have not been given (Acts 19:13–16). Even Michael the archangel did not rebuke Satan in his own power but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (Jude 1:9). When we start talking to the devil, we run the risk of being led astray as Eve was (Genesis 3:1–7). Our focus should be on God, not demons; we speak to Him, not them.

In summary, what are the keys to success in spiritual warfare? We rely on God’s power, not our own. We put on the whole armor of God. We draw on the power of Scripture—the Word of God is the Spirit’s sword. We pray in perseverance and holiness, making our appeal to God. We stand firm (Ephesians 6:13–14); we submit to God; we resist the devil’s work (James 4:7), knowing that the Lord of hosts is our protector. “Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken” (Psalm 62:2).

Nigeria

She is a Lord over many nations. She is a land flowing with plenty of milk and honey that nobody has tasted except the powerful and elites of the society. I stand to represent the common man, handicapped by law, neglected by the government and manipulated by his own.
Over a hundred years ago, Nigeria was formed out of whatever motive you call it- selfishness, business relations, corruption, civilisation, religion and whatever reason. Nigeria was given birth to following the amalgamation of the southern and northern protectorates as history as it. We were enslaved and saw something sort of different from 1700s and 1800s eras. We were manipulated, used, enslaved, looted. I believed these allegations against the Britain were true. We all share as Nigerians that there was a problem from the onset and there is still. We soon took over and couldn't correct the mistakes but out of self-centeredness, corruption, caused more harm than the Britain had caused.
Nigeria is great whether or not you believe it. Her greatness is just be lowered, overpowered by the influences of the great masters of all time - corruption and corruption! This gave birth to poverty, unemployment and the likes. However, negligence, illiteracy, greed also contributed to the unspeakable things In this country.
Patriot, after all these menaces have taken the roots and took over immensely, our eyes were finally opened - not really! We clamouring for a break up, change of system, restructuring and the likes. Corruption and bad governance gave birth to these social vices right before our eyes - not actually from 1914. I stand to say AMALGAMATION IS NOT THE PROBLEM BUT BAD GOVERNANCE.
I am not a fan of Nigeria's break up rather I push forward, the commitment to effectively tackle corruption at all levels. When this is achieved, we just laid a right path.
Let's unitedly hold one another's hand with an infectious smile, bring Nigeria out of the problem we nonchalantly subjected her to. Let's fight corruption. Let's take back the power. No more exploitation.
With Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress are guaranteed.

PoliticsNigerian Army Releases Press Statement, Denies Leaving Streets Of Abia by Hardeysolution(op): 6:06am On Sep 15, 2017
The Nigerian Army has denied reports claiming that it has withdrawn from Operation "Egwu Eke II" exercise.

In a press statement released through Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman the exercise will continue as scheduled on Friday, September 15, and will "dovetail into the various states security outfits till the end of this year."

Read below:

Nigerian Army Exercise Egwu Eke II Will Take Off Tomorrow As Scheduled

"The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to some stories in the media that it is withdrawing its troops from Exercise EGWU EKE II, crediting such information to Abia State Governor and the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army. This is not true. The Nigerian Army wishes to enjoin members of the public to disregard such rumours.

"For the avoidance of doubt, the Abia State Governor in his speech stated that “there will be gradual withdrawal of soldiers on the streets of Aba and Umuahia from tomorrow”. This should not be misconstrued as withdrawing of troops earmarked for Exercise EGWU EKE II. The General Officer Commanding 82 Division has not said such thing.

"Consequently, we wish to state that Exercise EGWU EKE II is commencing tomorrow as scheduled. Commanders have been instructed to ensure that all hands are on deck to commence the Exercise to its logical completion. We wish to state further that the successful completion of the exercise will dovetail into the various states security outfits till the end of this year.

Plateau State Govt Imposes Dusk To Dawn Curfew In Jos Over Clash Between Hausa And Igbo Traders

"Members of the public especially in the areas where the exercise will take place are please enjoined to go about their lawful businesses. We wish to also state that we would not allow any individual or group to jeopardize the conduct of the field training exercise through unlawful or criminal activities. Hoodlums and criminal elements are once again warned to be law abiding and not cause any breach of peace. We hereby reiterate that our troops would conduct themselves in the best professional manner, abide by the Rules of Engagement and Code of Conduct in line with requirements of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any act of indiscipline by any of our personnel would be decisively dealt with. While we enjoin all Nigerians to go about their normal businesses, the Nigerian Army urge all to support the troops as they carry out their constitutional duties and make Exercise EGWU EKE II a success.

"You are please requested to disseminate this information to the public through your medium. Thank you for your kind cooperation."

EducationWe are not aware of Lautech's resumption ASUU, SSANU say by Hardeysolution(op): 5:54am On Sep 15, 2017
The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, and other workers’ unions in the university, have said they are not aware of the resumption of the institution, which has been scheduled for Friday, September 15.

The unionists also said they would not obey the directive of the university authorities asking students to resume on Friday.

The chairman of the ASUU at the university, Dr. Biodun Olaniran; and the chairman of the Joint Action Committee at the university, Mr. Muraina Alesinloye, said in separate interviews with our correspondent that none of the workers’ unions would resume because they were not aware of the resumption directive.

The JAC comprises of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, Non Academic Staff Union and the National Association of Academic Technologists

The ASUU chairman said the union was not even aware that the university authorities had announced the resumption date.

He said the union embarked on an indefinite strike because of its demands that were not addressed by the governments of Oyo and Osun states.

According to him, the demands included payment of their 11 months’ salaries, earned academic allowances, gratuities and pensions, health insurance, promotion, among others

He said, “We (ASUU) will not resume until our demands are met. Until our demands are addressed, the strike continues.”

The chairman of the JAC also said that none of the three under JAC was aware of the resumption.

He said, “I am the chairman of SSANU, but I am speaking as the chairman of JAC now. We are not aware of the resumption and you will agree with me that you cannot obey any directive which you are not aware "

I have a friend that took me as a mentor. I however always told her not to but as a normal friend. She has a mentor before that disappointed her and made her come to me. That her mentor is a member of her church and even their youth pastor.
They have a fellowship that they hold and she invited me. Because the guy heard about me from her and has heard me speak which I think is the reason for giving me the chance to minister yesterday at their youth vigil.
Yesterday, they were praying warfare prayers and of course very right. When I was to minister, I made them to understand that The devil didn't steal anything from them but was a transaction that we made possible with our disconnection from our source. I told them Jesus has fought the battle and won and all powers are with him so the devil is powerless and we shouldn't give him credit for what he's not. I also said there's nobody capable of doing a real child of God because we bear the mark of Christ. I told them that any problem we have is a result of we not hearing him.
After this, the guy called me and said what I was saying was too big for the people that are still growing. He said they called the vigil to encourage them to battle the problem and pray out their destinies and I was sure I was only making it clearer to them because God told me before I started that this isn't the first time they would pray that prayer and won't be the last time. Then I identified them as the problem. That they need to connect back to Jesus. In plain words, he said I quoted him that why should they fight any battle. He also said he identified that people weren't ready to pray when I finished speaking. He said its their doctrine and what they believe and it's working for them. I told him I was sorry.
This night, the girl who took me as her mentor whom he was mentoring before called me and said the guy called her and gave her a command to stop talking to me and to even stop seeing me or she should leave the exco of the youths programme if she can't do that. I don't know what to tell her. I said I will get back to her.

Please, I need just serious answers.
Thank you

EducationSTRIKE UPDATE: UNILORIN JOINS NASU STRIKE TODAY by Hardeysolution(op):
The strike declared by Non Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and Senior Staff Academic of Universities (SSANU) yesterday effectively crippled many public universities across the country.

The strike, coming after the one declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has further paralysed activities in the universities.

The three non-teaching unions, under the auspices of Joint Action Committee (JAC), embarked on the industrial action over non-implementation of the 2009 agreement by the Federal Government.

Their demands include the payment of earned allowances to members, a review of the governance system in universities, improved funding in line with UNESCO recommendations.

Provisions of infrastructures in universities and payment of salary shortfall being owed members, implementation of the National Industrial Court judgment on university staff schools, registration of their pension body, NUPEMCO.

Others are implementation of CONTISS 14 and 15 for technologists, improvement of teaching and learning facilities in the universities, stemming the tide of corruption in the university system.

At the University of Lagos (UNILAG), NASU and SSANU leaders confirmed to The Nation that they had joined the strike.

NASU Chairman Mr. Kehinde Ajibade said members of the union endorsed the strike during its congress yesterday and afterwards embarked on an enforcement exercise, which, he said, would continue today.

Mr. Toyin Adebule, Deputy Registrar, Information, said members of NASU, SSANU and NAAT moved round offices to send those working out.

As at the time of this report, NASU, SSANU and NAAT arms of Lagos State University (LASU) were engaged in a prolonged joint congress over the strike.

Calls made to chairmen of SSANU and NASU Comrades Saheed Oseni and Agosu Albert were not answered.

But hours after, Agosu called to apologise.

On enquiry about the strike, Agosu said: “Yes. Here (LASU), we have fully complied (with the strike).”

Also, NASU branch of University of Ibadan yesterday withdrew the services of its members in compliance with the strike.

Members of NAAT and SSANU also joined the industrial action.

Activities at different departments at the university came to near total collapse, except in a few units such as the hospital, security, electrical and power house, where the workers offered skeletal services till 4pm.

At University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), NASU members acceded to their national executives’ directive.

The UNN-NASU was already on a month long internal strike but joined the national body in the nationwide strike as soon as they received the directive.

At the Enugu campus of the UNN, almost all the offices were empty. Only the security personnel were seen patrolling within the university.

In Benue State, the Federal University of Agriculture (FUAM) and Benue State University (BSU) also joined their counterparts on the indefinite strike.

In BSU, as earlier as 8am, the Joint Action Committee of SSANU, NASU and NAAT met and decided to join the strike.

Offices were thereafter closed and workers ordered to leave the school premises.

At University of Agriculture, Makurdi, which is about 10 kilometres away from the city, it was, however, a different story.

At the time The Nation visited the campus, a meeting of the unions’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) was still in progress.

Already, the state chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) is observing a five-day warning strike over non-payment of salaries.

Business activities in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, are grounded, following the strike action.

Resident doctors and ASUU have also down tools.

SSANU members at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria also heeded the call by its umbrella body to down tools indefinitely.
The striking members mobilised to the university’s main gate at Samaru yesterday with chants of solidarity songs.

Surprisingly too, it was gathered that the three unions in the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) will observe the national directives from today.

Already, the monitoring team of the union had been inaugurated to enforce compliance.

The spokesperson of Unilorin SSANU, Segundo Alabi, said: “The strike action is not against the university management but against the Federal Government.

“Monitoring team for the strike has been inaugurated and they will be moving around to enforce the industrial action.”

The Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), Abeokuta, was deserted yesterday as members of the SSANU, ASU and NAAT joined the industrial action.
