Nigerians and their nonsense. You better be wise and let these politicians continue playing on your intelligence. |
I or let me say we all learnt that the Niger delta avengers have announced a ceasefire and open for dialogue. Questions we need to deliberate on Why after accusing Jonathan of sponsoring them? After a while, we'll get to see the case dead and no investigation on Jonathan. I am not saying Jonathan is guilty but justice and law should clarify that. Is it not a way to also send NDAs abroad? Dialogues ever since inception have been yielding same results; training and empowering the militants causing them to gather wealth to even build and sponsor universities abroad. Are they afraid of death and Buhari ? Quite a number of time, they have been expressing fear in letters, speeches and tweets, some people won't understand their tones but infact they are afraid. I thought they said no going back on Oct 1st. Let me stop here as we know the remaining questions bothering us as Nigerians concerning the self centered people fighting for their cause and not for us. We all are after wealth and not freedom. Their actions led to rise of many unreasonable militants group in no way different from Boko Haram. Let's be realistic. It's not for tribal wars and not for ethnic fights but for debate and clarification of what's on ground. Shun militancy! |
jaymejate:is there a reason to be afraid of expressing ones freedom? Even if at that, this isn't to be taken serious. But however, if you demand for the ban of the op or deletion of the post, kindly in few hours, call for ban and closure of media houses. No offence |
The University of Ilorin has warned candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2016/2017 not to fall victims of fraudsters asking for screening fees. Mr Kunle Akogun, Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs Department of the university, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday. Akogun said that the recently circulated post-UTME procedures slated for Aug. 22 and Aug. 27 was a scam. “I am not aware of any circular from the university management to this effect, the circular is a scam, it should be disregarded,’’ Akogun said. He pointed out that the institution was aware of the misleading information and considered it imperative to alert unsuspecting members of the public and applicants seeking admission into the institution. The university spokesman said some admission seekers had fallen victims of the dubious information asking them for payment of screening fees. Akogun said the institution had neither fixed admission procedure fees nor date for the screening. He noted that the university was surprised that despite efforts to sanitise the system, some unpatriotic elements still went ahead to defraud members of the public. He said that the university would employ the appropriate channel to reach out to the admission applicants on the modalities and procedures for the screening. Akogun, therefore, called on members of the public to be wary of fraudulent individuals who had plotted to use the forthcoming post-UTME screening to swindle them. He said the university management was working round the clock to reach a compromise on the screening process, assuring that the institution would soon finalise arrangement on the process. “We have been reaching out to the people on our radio that we have not set guidelines for the admission screening. “The information going round did not emanate from the University of Ilorin. “It was purely the handiwork of racketeers or scammers,’’ he said. 2016 Admissions: JAMB ratifies lists of shortlisted first choice candidates On August 19, 20163:30 pmIn NewsComments The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Friday said it had concluded arrangements to hold its next technical meeting on admissions at the Bayero University in Kano. The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, told newsmen in Lagos that it would hold from Aug. 22 to Aug. 26. Benjamin said that the meeting would receive the lists of candidates who had met the admission criteria from the various tertiary institutions for its ratification. Benjamin said, “ We are expecting a full complement of representatives from all the tertiary institutions in the country to attend the meeting. “They are expected to submit the lists of first choice candidates shortlisted for admission into the respective tertiary institutions, comprising universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. “ The board and all other stakeholders will collectively go through the lists to see if they had met the admission criteria. “The board, if satisfied, will ratify the lists and admission print-outs will be issued to the institutions.’’ He said that the names of successful candidates would also be uploaded on the website of respective institutions for candidates to print. According to him, the admission letters will contain details such as admission status, school and course of study as well as duration of chosen programme. MY BIG QUESTION IS WHAT OF THOSE WHO ARE YET TO COMPLETE THEIRS OR EVEN DO? Fynestboi have you got any answer? Or anyone with answer? |

I have seen ladies say there is no perfect husband but is that true? Someone even categorise men with their attitude. Hummmm, I believe true husband wins and he exists. How about you?

There are some posts that are educative and nice news that could save a life but without fp this that, they won't hit front page. Just observing, I am not expecting a ban cos of this o |
I wonder if a sane person could do this. But apparently, craziness is mixing with fashion.

I was astonished when I was told of a story. The greatest story. It's a man who was born of a Virgin Mary. He is the Messiah and the Savior of the world. He died and set his people free, those who believe in him. He changed the whole world. He is a mystery. An untold story that cannot be foretold. He is unrevealable. Greatest God who is bigger than the biggest. Brighter than highest volt. Bigger and larger than bush elephant. Mighty in power. He heads the UN. Yorubas call him and he hears at the time Igbos call him. He has the largest ear and longest hand. He is Jesus Christ

DelGardo:I think I understand you. I am criticising his appointments. It's quite appalling |
Dear Mr Buhari, I supported you quite too well in 2015. I am regretting it that you came into power but I wouldn't want PDP still continue the government. You were just a litmus but aren't you failing us? I know quite well that it isn't easy Sir, but right now, your political appointments and religious sentiments are not making things better. We have blamed the previous government for a year and fought against corruption as well. Where are the recovered loots? Will we still continue to suffer because of the last government? Do yours and let it be said of you that you did it. I am indeed disappointed and saddened by your actions. Your appointments doesn't mean well for Nigeria as you are uprooting political and religious instability. We voted you in Sir and are can still withdraw our mandate from you if change refuses to happen. Hungry man will not listen to grammars and policies. We need implementation. Be on your toes Sir And do something. Our mandate is our power. We are tired! |

By Adedamola Odukoya Title Last Chance. Mr Coker moved along his daily route to work as usual. He met this young man walking up staggering with a book in his hands. Ayomide just met Jesus. He was preached to just let recent by evangelists. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ genuinely. That same time, they gave him a Bible not minding his current state. He was walking with his normal step as he met Mr Coker. He looked at him and said, give your life to Jesus Christ today. Tomorrow maybe too late. Mr Coker looked at him surprisingly saying, is this not Ayomide the tout? I care not sir, he answered. I am now Ayomide the Jesus son. Coker smiled and went straight down. He went straight down to grave as an upcoming car hit me mercilessly. He died. On his journey to the grave, he met the angel. 'Coker, you have got a last chance, opportunity which you disgracefully misused. Coker, it is no longer business as usual as you are gone for real to the place of the dead'. No other chance for him again. He died and ofcourse straight to hell. Today might be your turn to repent. Kindly use this time and give your life to Jesus Christ. |
