PoliticsBuhari's Team Not Mavins Crew.(relating To Jantamata) by Hardeysolution(op): 11:33am On May 27, 2016
I hear lots of Nigerians saying, 'Budget signed, so what's next?' The fact that budget has been signed doesnt mean it will be implement like that. Remember, it's a year budget! Roads will not just appear. Schools will not just appear. It takes steps. Because budget has been signed, you expect Farmers to be receiving loans in their homes. Is that how it happens? Buhari is doing what is right by eliminating the stones in front before clearing the road. Understand that, nothing good comes easy. To those looking for what he has done in one year, compare now to four years of Jonathan. I am saying we are better off 'potentially'. Some will say we are suffering. Yes, we are suffering and we have been suffering from 1914. You can not expect Buhari to correct mistakes of 1914 in a year. He is not Don Jazzy nor is he Korede Bello nor Tiwa savage. Buhari's team not Mavins Crew

Someone answered you already na.. how are both related? ? undecided You can't! !

Except you do a PGD...Then, some schools will take you if you have some relevant years of experience in civil engineering. ..
thanks for ur contribution

Yes! You "master" in something you already have prior knowledge of.... you just pick an aspect of your first degree which interests you most, then master in that...

However, there's PGD.. for eg, if you have a bsc in mechanical engineering, you can do a PGD ( normally done for a year, to give you some knowledge about your intending masters course), before you can proceed for masters in maybe chemical engr.....

All d best. .
so if i go for petroleum eng, can't i go for civil engineering for masters?

How does civil engineering relate to Petroleum and gas engineering. The first comment contains everything you need to know. You can do first degree in chemical engineering and masters in petroleum or gas engineering because all three are related only that chemical is much broader
does masters have to do with your bachelor course?
CareerRe: Career: I Sincerely Request Advice On This by Hardeysolution(op): 8:10pm On May 22, 2016
UNIGIST:
Dear Hardeysolution,

The question you asked is one of the worries of many high school graduates who are seeking admission into university.

You stated your preference for petroleum and gas engineering. However, the oil and gas sector is on the decline for two main reasons; the first being the drastic fall in price of crude oil and the second due to the activities of Niger Delta militants who have blown up several pipelines. This has resulted in massive lay-offs of employees in indigenous and multinational oil and gas related companies.

Furthermore, petroleum and gas engineering, to an extent, reduces your degree of flexibility in the labour market except you study towards a master's degree in another course which has a broader application. Hence, I will advise that for your first degree, you study a course that improves and broadens your career prospects; one which is more applicable across more industries and/or sectors of the economy.

Also, regarding what "everyone" is saying, I advise that you follow your heart and travel along the career path you chose rather than that chosen by family and friends. There's nothing wrong with listening to advice but take your decision based on your passion rather than accepting whatever course is suggested to you.

That said, from the subjects you are enthusiastic about (that is, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry) and considering degree applicability, I would advise that you study Chemical Engineering rather than petroleum and gas engineering. The former is more applicable in the labour market compared to the latter. It gives you access to companies in the following areas/sectors:

- Oil and gas
- Pharmaceuticals
- Breweries
- Energy
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)
- Pulp and paper
- Toileteries
- Fibres and polymers
- Plastic and Metals
- Mining and so on

After your bachelor's degree, you can proceed with your plan to study towards a masters degree in, for example, petroleum and gas engineering.

I hope this helps.

Feel free to send an email to unigistafrica@gmail.com or visit www.unigist.com.ng for a free live chat.

Yours truly,
UNIGIST.
thanks so so so much. I appreciate. But can i go for petroleum and gas for bachelor, then maybe masters in another like, civil engineering?

I am confused. I am a science student or should i say technology student. I am better at Maths, Furthermaths, Chemistry than in Biology. Everyone kept on saying go for medicine, or civil engineering, elect elect. But as for me, i prefer petroleum and gas engineering. I have plans to go for masters in mechanical engineering or civil engineering. I am confused. They are looking at the state of Nigerian economy. Someone should advise me on this. Should i go on with this petroleum and gas engineering?

It is called national strike for heaven sake! Then why are some people defying the strike? That shows that Nigerians believe in the gov't. They understand the reason behind the action. Wabba wants to be called so as to negotiate for money. No work and think say u go get salaries! Wabba get food @ home o and some lazy fools dey home no go work! From Ijebu-Ode, Banks work, Private schools, Traders, Marketters, Petrol Stations, even motorists work. Maybe public schools alone are on strike. Omo, dis no be strike, na intentional leave!

Why should we go on strike? Why on earth should we even try go on strike when the reason behind the increment in oil price is quite reasonable? Why should we continue putting money into another person's pocket all in the name of subsidy? Let's just know the truth! Support deregulation of the downstream!
NLC is divided. I think that shows that the plan is having another hidden agenda. To get money from Buhari? Oh No! LET NLC STOP THE STRIKE AND FACE REALITY. NLC is already ashamed of taking such step. Lazy ones alone stay at home.
Fuel price is for a reason. Let's not continue fooling ourselves. Nigeria is in trouble yet we are looking for troubles. Let's go againt troubles in Nigeria. Nigerians should understand that we need to wise up and support Buhari. We are having a revolution! Let the Change Continue.
#NothingGoodComesEasy.
Combat Corruption! This is the way to combat corruption by supporting Buhari. Please Nigerians, Wise Up!
Those who asked you to go on strike have enough food at home as you are there suffering looking for what to eat.
Christianity EtcIslam: Religion Of Pieces Peace. Islam Is Satanic Plot! by Hardeysolution(op): 1:37pm On May 15, 2016
There has been no considerable reason why Islam should be appealing to anyone but hearts will continue to grow harder, referring to the Muslims. If you understand the truth about your religion, you would have preferred serving Idols to being a Muslim. Islam according to the Quran, has mandated all Muslims to kill Infidels. That's why Boko Haram, ISIS are on the mission. Why are Muslims also killed if they are against Christianity? Remember, they are against infidels. The infidels are wrong worshippers like christians, jews and other muslims not following the tenets of the religion. Boko Haram, ISIS, Al-Qaeda are the true worshippers and followers of Islam as they are doing what their quran tells them even tho' wrong.
I am not trying to cause damage upon the Islamic race, but i am telling you that if you do not accept Christ into your life, it may be too late. Read your quran very well and see what it tells you. I have this quran and i read it. I have searched and researched from the elders about the religion. Islam leads to nowhere but destruction. A religion that causes havoc, is that a religion of peace? The wise ones have embraced peaceful peace and not the pieces peace. Jesus is the only answer to all troubles.
Do not be deceived by the deception of the devil. Islam is a religion of the pit of hell. We are not serving the same God. We are so different because if we are serving the same God, you wouldnt kill us. Tho' u are larger in number, we have got a greater God. The end time is near. Once again, ask yourself these questions.
-Who is Jesus according to Islam?
-Who is Mohammed according to Islam?
-What are the differences between these two?
-Who are Christians?
-Who are Muslims?
-What are the differences between them?
-Which actually bring peace, Islam or Xtianity?
-According to the Quran, what is Jihad?
-How do we go about Jihad?
-Why should I be of this religion that wreck havoc?

The Labour unions should adjust their demands as follows: The minimum wage can be N25000. Fuel Price to be N100 per litre. Dollars exchange to be N150:$1. No Oil Subsidies Payments again ever. Those who have received subsidies before should be tried before CCT for corruption and for undeclared assets. The 50:50 Venture/Import of Fuel arrangements should be scrapped, NNPC should produce and distribute 100 percent of Nigeria Domestic fuel Consumption. The importation of 50 percent domestic fuel requirements gives room for Forex hunt, greed and mismanagement. NLC/TUC/NUPENG/etc, Happy Sunday!!!!

Adedamola is an activist, a correspondent, a student as well as a patriotic Nigerian. He shares his mind on the current situation in Nigeria.
'I boldy and blatantly say all of us supported the fuel price. Any reason why it shouldn't be like this, we didnt speak! What am i trying to say? We voted for our representatives and senators who couldnt represent us well and even speak our mind. As long as we have sold our votes to the fools we sent to the house, then we should expected divided government. Even though the President is doing his best, but being surrounded by shameless ones, we can't see his best. Delay in Budget passing is one of the problems we are facing. Why couldnt they pass the budget faster? Saraki has problems and they needed to solve them. Saraki before Nigerians! Do you now see that over 200 million Nigerians are in the house, but just represented by 469 people. We have agreed to the decision, call on your reps and senators! Call them back and send over there, credible ones. You have sold your votes, what else? The voice of the credible ones won't be heard in the camp of many corrupt ones. Let's face reality, tackle corruption, enhance democracy, build our judiciary, free the press, promote rule of law, respect human rights and be God-fearing and see if Nigerians won't change'.
He analysed that Nigerians are the roots of the problems as they couldnr stand up for the truth long time ago and now blaming it all on government. He also said that going on strike is at the expense of Nigerians themselves as the strike initiators have lots at home already. He further spoke that it is when Nigerians realise the truth that the country will progress.
He advised Nigerians to cry to the representatives and senators as the Presidency can not hear us all. Where are the Reps??

RomanceWho Do Men Run After Sex? by Hardeysolution(op): 7:59am On May 15, 2016
I just imagine why men run after sex. Just 3 minutes pleasure pushes some people to raping females.
Imagine
-The females enjoy the sex at least, @ 3 minutes interval, she releases and enjoys. Men, just once and if at all, you can go many rounds, that's just at your own expense. But in one round the female can release at least 6 times.
-Men lose blood. You lose your blood and yet you turn it to food.

To me, i have not seen anything special in this sex so i can wait for my future wife. Like i have asked myself, why go extra miles?

If you are in the mood, hit the wall. Lol.
Anything worth enjoying? Maybe you educate me.

When i heard in the news that NLC and TUC are planning to go on strike and advising Nigerians to store food at home before Tuesday. I beseech Emergency Units to get ready for dead people storming.
The Presidents of these pressure groups do not think of the outcomes of strike at all. When members of the NLC okay the decision of the government after given considerable reason, just the presidents speaks for themselves. We understand the situation but it's time we made the sacrifice.
Even if the government now calls for Negotiation, do they think Buhari will pay them as Jonathan's regime did? NLC will just worsen the situation by making things harder. They travel as they want and in money living on our money as well yet they direct us to go on strike as their businesses continu striving well. Their children are out of the country. Their wives are abroad shopping. Who will lose? If at last, Negotiation is allowed, they need money right?
Our Reps and Senate agree to this. That means Nigerians also Agree to it, so why go on strike?

Hello Nigerians,
I am happy to contact you this day. I am ofcourse aware of the hardship we're going through in the country. It affects me as well. I want you to know that Buhari is not happy with the situation of things as well. We Nigerians are the ones suffering ourselves.
Let's start with ELECTRICITY.
I know that the MW is not enough but still, we can still make do with what we have. Here in Ijebu-Ode, the areas around the distribution area are 24 Hours supplied with power and other areas are suffering.
Now on FUEL PRICE.
The truth is that the government needed to take that step. Nigerians should know that the Government has said it was not due to subsidy removal as Nigeria has not been paying subsidy since Last year May. So why make things harder for ourselves? We are making things harder for ourselves. Not up to 4 hours of agreement to #145 per litre, even pencil could now sell for #50 from #5. Anyway, Nigerians wise up! Let's just give this government time!
Now To Buhari CRITICS.
Understand that Buhari is not a magician. We've got to be patient. All of you saying you arent seeing the change, please look for it else where. Let this team work and see the change. As for me, I can see the change because i can see good things. We are secured! We are getting our money! We are winning war against terror!
Nigeria will win the war! Please, be patient!
