Spy360: Obi doesn't need to win all the states. He is already sure of landslide victories SE, SS and NC. He is also confident of at least 25% in all SW states. Add Lagos and Kaduna with good voter's turnout and he is home and dry.
Peter Obi is the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. same southwest you guys keep insulting and calling urchins? So you need urchins to vote for you? Why are you insulting yorubas and still need our vote? You will come online and insult a whole tribe but you want us to vote for your candidate. That alone can not make me support obi. |

Bobbiee: I've been doing my exercise even longer than you. I'm sure I started 2016, but it must have been longer than that. Probably 2012 when I joined the school basketball team. Everyday I do 100 pushups, 50 sit ups, 100 squats, 30 pull ups, and I lift weights totalling 50 reps. Yet I still have a lean build. To be fair, I don't really eat healthy like that. Although, I stay off sugar and snacks (can't even remember when last I took those. Although I do take malts. And I only drink occasionally when I'm out with friends, say once or twice a month). I think my problem is I was skinny so I'm supposed to go at it differently. My guess is that you started with body. Safe taking steroids or supplements, it's not easy to get gains. exactly i work out too and i know without steroids there is a limit you get to you just cant get bigger. |

Sweetplum: What Tinubu said is a reality. The way Igbos hate on people is so annoying. You hate someone and you expect returns from such person. If not for love for humanity, Buhari no suppose reason them. Am not pro APC but truth must be told. The southwest knew how to massage the ego of the north. Threatening Tinubu back isn't the solution. The gragra of Igbos when they dislike you is too much. Meanwhile, politics is played with wisdom. See Nnamdi Kanu, he's still in jail. Nothing has changed. Instead it's killings of Igbos by ESN, UGM etc. The region is rotting daily. Igbos are screaming marginalisation and those that appeared to be fighting for them are killing Igbos. Declaring no work on Mondays, they killed Dora Akunyili's husband and many more. A very intelligent man. An asset to ndi Igbo. What's wrong with that region? It's becoming difficult for an Igbo man to be president. Maybe Obi ll pull a stunt. obi supporters have done serious damage to his campaign. I dont know what they aim to achieve making enemies of everyone. |

Godfullsam: They are not bandits oh! They are armed rubbers.
They go to town to rub and come back to the hotel to chill. They are very friendly, in fact you won't even know that they were rubbers.
They also have an alfa who prays for them before they go out on operation.
The hotel was formally a residential house, the land Lord renovated it and convert it to hotel. How they were caught, I heard one of the was arrested in the town and he brought the police to their hide out and the rest were arrested.
There was no woman among them o, those boys and girls you saw sitting were those in the compound when the police entered. They are not rubbers, only the ones tied / hand cuffed were among the rubbery gang.
The hotel is sharing fence with the viewing center where I usually watch football. wow. Thanks i hope they released the innocent people. Was the manager involved? |

Politics › Re: Boko Haram: Report Claims Governor Shettima Killed Gubio, Ngala by HardMirror(m): 11:23am On Jan 11, 2023 |
beejaay: Following the revelation by an Australian Negotiator, Dr. Stephen Davies, names of other alleged Boko Haram sponsors have emerged.
The latest said is the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima.
A magazine, “power Steering” which is being circulated, alleged that Governor Shettima is behind the killing of late Alhaji Awana Ngala, former ANPP chairman in Borno State, who was tipped to succeed former governor Ali Modu Sheriff as well as Engr. Modu Fannami Gubio, the gubernatorial candidate of the ANPP, who was killed barely one week after he was appointed to succeed Modu Sheriff in the 2011 general election. DailyPost reports that this is coming even as Ahmad Salkida, the self-exiled Nigerian journalist, widely reported to have an unfettered access to Boko Haram, described as questionable, claims by Australian negotiator, Dr. Steven Davis, of having links with the insurgent group.
The Borno State-born journalist, who reportedly fled to the United Arab Emirates over allegations that he was a Boko Haram sympathiser, stated that Davis should explain to Nigerians how he “came across” a member of the insurgent group who told him about the former Borno Governor and the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika.
The magazine, which claimed a secret conversation with a detained Boko Haram member, Mustapha Kolo revealed that there is an existing relationship between the group and the Borno State governor right from his time as a commissioner, where he served in five ministries before his election as Governor of Borno State.
Mustapha Kolo revealed that the governor had been giving them money to further their course and had been meeting with their leaders over targeted assassinations of prominent Borno citizens and politicians, who did not share his own political ideas. Mustapha Kolo said, “When he (Shettima) was Commissioner, he used to give us plenty money. He even gave us money to kill Fannami Gubio, so he can become governor, but he did not complete his payment; we were following him, he didn’t give us again”.

Politics › Re: The Sad Truth About Obi, Tinubu & Atiku Supporters MUST READ by HardMirror(op): 11:21am On Jan 11, 2023 |
beejaay: I support obi not because of now but the future, the growth we seek is not something that will happen in a year or 5 but a process in progress.. we need someone that would be able to launch us into that new era.. at the moment all politicans are evil cos they are all groomed by the same evil state and we can only make intelligent guess as to who will add a little bit of sanity into the system..tinubu is a deadly dictator as seen lagos (he is notorious for cornering everything and controlling everything, he doesnt believe in opposition, such a man should not wield serious power anytime especially now that he is frail and weak.. he fight with anything and everything..just take lagos for example, imagine trying that against the nation..now he is weak meaning his govt will be ruled by 3 different cabals, his wife, his son seyin tunubu and his biz/close associates and that will mean doom for the country with several policy summersault like pmb has been doing) As for atiku he belong to the old order and definitely not bringing anything new to the system, he seems like a calm but utterly corrupt like tinubu guy but those around him are buffons which means he will likely work with buffons and those that knows nothing about growth and development
Kwankwaso is a typical buhari, tribalist to the core and not fit for a state like nigeria
as for Obi, he is not so better than the others but he is relatively meticulous going by his antecendents ans thats what we truly need now, he seems to have energy to listen and follow through.. he is not propped up by the system which means he will to a large extent have free hand to perfom..when ost of the system power is fighting you, and realtively young memebr of the society is supporting you, know there is more to meet the eye, this is historical with proves accross worlds..for example when every state powerful guys, cabals were fighting GEJ, it was then we should have known something was off but we took the bait
All we need now is someone to propell us a little into the next generation(nigerians are fighter full of character and zeal to succeed), someone like osibanjo would have been best since we lost that opportunity with GEJ but obi is good to..GEJ was liberal and progressive and all we needed to do was to look for someone better that him but instead we went back and today we can see the effect.. a growth is a growth even if its 1% and the most important growth of all is not the infrastruvture but the people..if the people psyche grow, overtime it will tranform to material growth but when people are repressed from expressing themselves, when they are bulldozed by poverty and violence, they become zombies and nothing come out of such..
i am a yoruba man, i dont follow an religion cos i know im above them, not atheist but i will vote peter obi and lastly history is not there for us to joggle our memeory but as a pointer to the fututre..dont defend or support your oppressor i am yoruba too, but i think i will stick with atiku and hope for the best. Thanks for your indepth analysis |

LordReed: I agree. We have this bad habit of putting people on pedestals even when we know they as human and as fallible as us.
This remains to be seen. If I was to rate my confidence in the candidates it would be like this:
Obi 65% Tinubu 60% Atiku 40%
Although all 3 have been in government before, only Obi and Tinubu have really shown that they can deliver tangible results and the edge Obi has to me is he might be a little more hands on than Tinubu. Tinubu is too frail I think to sustain and direct the capacity to see things through. Atiku while he was in government for 8years has nothing we can see a tangible result of anything he proposed or pursued.
Ultimately, Nigeria's economy is battered and leaking like a bucket that was run over by molue, who ever wins has a very very tough job on their hands. It will be very easy to fumble it. honestly obibis currently the best candidate but there are certain things i fear, why i would support Atiku. I am a lagos boy, tinubu is not it at all. The man is like a mafia boss. Let me not say things i know here, too sensitive. I hope tinubu does not win honestly. It is just best not to talk deeply about tinubu. |
