If I use the word 'like' it's simply because I do no want to go into the exchange rate wahala. Let the whole downstream gets completely deregulated, let the exchange rate remains stable at 2k plus... then you will see the price adjust to this 2k.

That means Dangote will sell diesel at like 2k per liter since it's sold for 1.3 in the uk.

The only way to get basic amenities is to smuggle it in. What do you think a tunnel crossing to Egypt would be used for?. Israel practically made a wall across Gaza and police it's water. It also cuts it off the rest of thier brethren in Westbank. If you run a city under such siege, how will you operate to ensure the survival of your people and their access to basic things that the occupier won't let you have?. Common government law in Nigeria makes us smuggle cheaper rice from Benin. Now imagine if 70% of live basic things are controlled.
