Hi guys...I want to as a quick question....is it possible to sponsor yourself as an undergraduate student in canada....and what if you are a forex trader....what are the implications of self sponsoring as a forex trader when the time for declaration of assets and funds come during the visa process...is it good or bad to just show a sizeable lump sum as a proof of fund and will you get refused by the visa officer if he or she thinks you can't continue to pay your fees |

blessingflow: You can apply with your WAEC result. I used my B.Sc. transcript because I am going for my masters degree. Splendid! I thought I would need to attach a transcript or English Test result....I'd do that ASAP....thanks for your help |

blessingflow: You already have these three schools on your list, check the courses they offer to know if they have your intended course or any related one. If they do, copy their email from their website and send a mail to them, attaching your result/credentials and asked them if you would be eligible to study that very course with your result in their school. They will reply you, whether you fit in or not.
Google more schools also that have that same course and send them mails using thesame pattern of communication as you did with the above schools. I hope is clear to you? Yes it is clear and all three schools have my intended course of study which is Marine Biology/Sciences....but did you submit a transcript....I don't have a transcript because I write WAEC in 2017 from SS2 as opposed to SS3....is this going to be an issue |

blessingflow: What i did... I selected some schools of my interest, I mailed my credentials to them requesting if I'm eligible to study ... course in their school. Some replied and said no, while some replied and said yes.
I then went ahead with full application to the ones that said yes, stating that I had earlier made an enquiry and was asked to go ahead with my application.
With this method, I didn't have to go through any admission decline from any school. How did you do this!! Is it available for Dalhousie University or New Brunswick and Guelph University? Please drop steps on how you did it...I wrote WAEC 2017 and I want to know if I'd have to rewrite or use the result I already have |

rotexteymie: Lol sorry. It's Nova Scotia Community College not a University. Ohhh I see....I'm planning on Dalhousie University Halifax.....but I have some issues....I thought I would have issues since I wrote WAEC in 2017 but I was told that that won't be a problem... outside that I actually wrote WAEC from SS2 so I don't have a transcript to speak of....will this be a problem for me as the university is also asking for a transcript besides my WAEC result....and I also heard that Dalhousie doesn't ask for an English Test....and how long did it take you to complete your visa stuff....help me out please |

rotexteymie: Oh. My course doesn't require the agent thing plus I've had my admission since 2019. What University is that.... because the admission process for Dalhousie University which is my first choice is looking somehow complex and I've not even started applying and I'm already confused |

Scott99tish: Question is;
How many year course are you applying for ❓❓❓ All I can see on your attachment is just application term. So not a add up figure. So get your info right. It's a four year course....marine biology is the course... |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Harold4lyf(m): 7:08am On Jan 07, 2022 |
Scott99tish: It’s not $41K. You’re mixing it up.
It’s either $20K or $21K depending on the term you’re applying for… Ohhhh....so it's one term per year of study Like after the summer term I move to the next year of study....is that how it works?? |

Teemenzo: Thanks, so do your findings based in the course you want to study and apply for the admission first. Find Scholls that are designated learning institutions. Schools that will allow you do post graduate work permit My school of choice is one of the best in Canada for my specific field of study |

SwayB: Yes please do it yourself. They always look legit until you get scammed. Get your admission first, then u can always come back here to ask questions about the visa. Ok I will....my first choice although is Dalhousie University Halifax in Nova Scotia....but their tuition fees are kinds expensive.....you have to pay extra $14K as an international student....this is the fees estimate from the school website....is this expensive compared to other schools?? The University of New Brunswick and Guelph University are also possible choices for me...but Dalhousie is my first choice

Teemenzo: Yes, abeg do it alone. I was once a victim die to ignorance. That was what brought me to this platform. Imagine someone waiting for biometrics for more than a year after submitting application. Have you seen that before. I wasted two years with the agent. Man....that's bad.....I'm happy you got what you needed at the end |

SwayB: 2.5 what? Some of these agents are ridiculous. Bro no one can guarantee you a visa. Do not waste your money and get scammed. So the best option is to do it myself....the visa agency looks legit....TMT Travels on Instagram...but I think that money includes flight ticket and airport pickup....

ManLikeMace: I applied using my 2008 waec result and got admission so you do not have any issues. I know some schools like George Brown college don't accept waec results older than 10 years as I got refused admission because of that. As for when to start your application for your September intake, as early as possible. I mean you should have started by now. It took me 7 months to get my visa and that made me miss my september intake and now I have to wait till the next intake. Thank God...I was thinking I would have to rewrite....did you use any admission and visa agency or you did it yourself.... because some are saying you can get your visa in 2/3months but they charge around ₦2.5M to get it done |

Hi... So guys I've been thinking of studying in New Zealand as my main option for my undergrad and although I know it's difficult and costly I've been getting conflicting information here concerning the application process.....what are the Visa costs and what is the maximum years of validity for WAEC (I wrote mine in 2017 and passed well)... I'll appreciate every help I get here and if there's any thread concerning study in NZ please mention it below and I'll check it out..... PS: My intended year of study is in 2022.... I'll love to be linked up with any Nigerian living or working in New Zealand... Once again thanks for the help I hope to get... God bless |

nograv: Remove Finland : Too cold and racist
Remove Denmark : Too cold and racist
Remove Netherlands : Too racist
Ireland : Fine for now, good god fearing Catholic people who are friendly. Work hard and keep you head down you'll be liked..
Australia : ok I guess
New Zealand : One of the best countries in the world to move to as a foreigner...
Japan : Waste of time.. The Japanese arent racist per se.. No one will beat you for being black.. But the Japanese rarely let anyone become a true citizen, so you will ever remain an outsider. They culture is very hard to adapt to unless you are disciplined and hard working.
Canada is still good if you dont mind the cold..
UK is finished because or Brexit.. If you do go there only live in London But the New Zealand immigrations process is one of the toughest |

Stephenmoka4: Not sure of how easy it is to get admission in NZ but, marriage and investment in all this country makes it much easier, especially the investment part. No matter how tough it is, once a foreigner is putting some investment in government property and creating job opportunities for her citizens, the immigration would be easier and even recommended. Money is powerful. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....cause I'm prolly gonna be schooling there by 2022 so I wanted to know how stringent their admissions and immigrations process is |
