I think now they do? overall, the infinix zero 8 seems like a good deal to me because of its camera features, big battery and helio G90T processor. ultimately, it's all about individual preferences
akwunmi: I have my interest on infinix zero 8i or 8 but I have some setbacks about how infinix don't usually releases major update to new android version.caughing out 100-130k for fones without major android update is not fair to me... though I am not 100% sure if they release or don't release major update o,just dat most of their devices gets stock to any android version they produces it with.
true. the fact that it has a quad-cam setup at the back and a dual-cam setup at the front makes this phone very interesting in terms of camera capabilities. the mediatek helio G90T processor is a plus too.
akingbadeomoseb: The Infinix Zero 8 is a power packed smartphone with some really good features. The best part has to be the Mediatek Helio G90T gaming processor that gives its performance a big boost
Yes for gaming and even multitasking, the helio G series chipsets by mediatek are your friends. The Realme 12 is a good option which is not too expensive.
samueloyem19: Actually, there is Mediatek Helio G35 gaming processor in the smartphone and there is a bit of difference between the two processors.
yeah it has a 48MP camera and a 5,200 mAh battery with a helio G80 processor. good for the price.
bigdot1759: Just got my infinix note 8i Very superb & fast enough for light user like me, battery last me 2day, & camera is cool Got it at solat, iwo-road @ #69k
I agree. Its build quality looks very nice. Plus the fact that the Infinix Note 8i has such a huge 6.78-inch screen with a fast mediatek helio processor is good for watching youtube, films, and other content.
akingbadeomoseb: The Infinix Note 8i looks really good in terms of its features and specs and I think the integration of the Mediatek Helio G80 processor makes it a worthy gaming smartphone as well. I'm very impressed.
i especially like the 48MP camera feature of the Realme 7 along with the 5,0000 mAh which pairs nicely with the mediatek helio G95 processor. i think it's good enough for using daily for social media purposes and some gaming as well.

Oppo A93 is a good choice because you get a classy smartphone at a good price. I like the Oppo A93 and the mediatek gaming chipset that they have used.
Ayokul: What good phone can I get for NGN 115,000. I have oppo a93 on mind, don't know any other device that could keep up with it..
yes I agree. Out of all tecno phones I really like the tecno camon 16 premier especially because it has 8GB RAM and lots of internal storage. plus the smartphone has a really good mediatek helio chipset which is amazing for gaming purposes and daily usage as well.
bennyefosa19: Tecno Camon 16 Premier is Tecno's best launch so far! it doesn't just have an appealing design, but like you mentioned - the Mediatek Helio G90T processor is a huge part of its popularity
I have recently come across the Oppo reno 2 F and it seems to be a good smartphone in the affordable range. Let me list down some of the specifications:
The phone comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,080x2,340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Oppo Reno 2F is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Oppo Reno 2F runs Android Pie and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. It supports VOOC fast charging.
On the rear, it has a 48MP primary camera; a second 8MP camera; a third 2MP camera and a fourth 2MP camera. It sports a 16MP camera on the front for selfies.
The Oppo Reno 2F runs ColorOS 6,1 based on Android Pie and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. It measures 161.80 x 75.80 x 8.67mm (height x width x thickness). It is available in Sky White and Lake Green colours.
brother you should get the oppo reno 3. i have heard some good reviews for it especially because it has the mediatek helio P90 processor. my friend said that it has a big battery and can be used almost all day without charge. you should check it out.
My current phone saw my current financial situation and decided that this is the best time for it to get spoilt so right now I have to buy a new phone that I didn't plan for at all. The thing is, I know next to nothing when it comes to phones so I need recommendations from you guys so I can get the best value for my money.
My budget is ~100k
I just have a few things I'm looking for: First of all, I do a lot of multitasking on my phone, so I'm looking for something that won't lag while running multiple apps. I need something that'll allow quick and smooth transitions between apps without closing them.
Secondly, I need a lot of storage space on my phone cos I have a bad habit of not deleting my files.
Also, if the phone has inbuilt features for hiding apps and files that will be very great. I'm paranoid about police officers going through my phone and labeling me a fraudster because of the contents in it.
I use my phone a lot so I'd love something with decent battery life. I have a power bank but I've been told these things are bad for your battery health in the long run.
Finally, I need something that I can use for more than a year. A phone whose power button won't break after a few months or whose screen won't break due to a small fall etc.
I sincerely hope I'm not asking for too much given my budget lol. I might be able to go a little over that amount if there's something that meets all my requirements.
I also want to know if I should take advantage of the Black Friday deals on Jumia. I've heard those things are scams but I don't really know.
I don't want Tecno, Infinix, or anything like that please . Thanks
My friend uses this phone and he has a good experience with it. Even the camera is really nice and can take clear photos. He likes playing games on this phone and it works very well because of the MediaTek processor that it has inside. Good phone in my opinion. Hope this helps.
I have used quite a lot of top phones because i sell them once in a while too but i wanted to downgrade to something less expensive because i realised i was spending too much on phones, yet i wanted something affordable that will meet my camera, battery, fluidity, gaming and video needs.
I must say i am impressed.
If I would be changing this phone, it would be me being the phone flirt that i am lol.
Please if you intend buying Redmi note 9 pro, do not rather buy 8 pro. I have used both.
REALME 6.
Why do you suggest against buying the redmi note 8 Pro? both realme 6 and note 8 pro have the mediatek helio G90T processor which is popular due to its neat gaming performance
samueloyem19: Can't agree more. Realme 7 has some amazing specifications and the camera section and its Helio G95 processor are just awesome.
the realme 7 is a complete phone, providing brilliant specs in all departments. The gaming segment is especially impressive with the integration of mediatek's helio G95 with the hyperengine gaming tehcnology
If you're looking for a gaming smartphone in the budget range, the Huawei Y9a might just be the phone for you! heard great reviews about the phone's processing with the integrated mediatek helio G80 which is appreciated by most tech reviewers as well
vivo Y20 is trash phone and not worth the price of 50k as you will get disappointed with the slow processing of the Snapdragon 460, which just ruins the phone experience entirely
samueloyem19: He actually asked about the budget device Tecno Camon 16s which has Mediatek Helio P22 in some countries and Mediatek helio P35 in others.
the Tecno Camon 16s is still good with the Mediatek helio P35 in comparison to helio P22 but a gaming chipset from Mediatek would have been more appreciated
samueloyem19: Actually, there is Mediatek Helio G35 gaming processor in the smartphone and there is a bit of difference between the two processors.
rightly said! the mediatek helio G35 integrates the HyperEngine technology which enhances gaming performance of the smartphones and the helio P35 doesn't come with it
akingbadeomoseb: Mediatek Helio G80 chipset might be same in both the devices but while Tecno has an edge in battery, Redmi has a better display. So it all depends on the users.
agreed! I think with the launch of Tecno Pova, the brand has proved itself in giving a solid competition to Redmi as well... it is great to see latest Tecno launches with Mediatek's gaming processor for better performance
samueloyem19: What crap are you talking about? This Huawei smartphone is really good with its Mediatek Helio G80 processor and such a good camera section.
I agree! with the integration of the mediatek gaming chipset this huawei smartphone really gives a strong competition to the redmi note 8
Techrann: The Infinix Note 8 is the second best phone by the Tech company. Only the Infinix Zero 8 is actually better.
It's 64MP camera is better than the camera of the Infinix Note 7 and Infinix Note 8i. It's chipset is also better plus there is a dedicated video camera.
But, there was a key feature Missing that would have completed the phone and allow users fully utilized the big 6.95inch display.
You can watch the full Teardown video of the Infinix Note 8 from our YouTube channel Below.
samueloyem19: Good review and this is a good smartphone. I think MediaTek Helio G80 processor in it is an excellent choice and the battery is also amazing.
Tecno has made a big shift and upgraded its phones by integrating the latest gaming processors by Mediatek. They are in demand because of an improved user experience
akingbadeomoseb: Although, I would go for MediaTek Helio G90T processor for my gaming needs and so Infinix Zero 8 would be my first choice among these.
Gaming or no gaming, Infinix Zero 8 is the right choice because of the smooth performance you experience even during multitasking with the Mediatek processor
