Spectrumphones:Huawei Y9a offers an incredible deal. The phone includes some really advanced features like you mentioned. I think what you missed is the powerful performance delivered by the MediaTek G80 processor octa-core processor at this rate |
xclusivebyte:Redmi has done it again. Trying to lure the audience with heavy specs - 6.67 inches display, 108 MP quad-cam setup, 5G Network and 5000 mAh Battery which makes it heavier in comparison to standard smartphones- 218 grams. On top of that, the price is quite high! In Nigeria, the smartphone will sell for 280,000 Naira, about 4,500 Ghs in Ghana, and 85,000 Ksh in Kenya. |
The Reno 4 is available in Galactic Blue and Space Black colors, and will set you back at Ksh. 39,999, translating to around $369 USD. Available in Black, Glossy Gold, Pink Gold, Silver Mist colors and price at Ksh. 23,999 in Kenya, which is an equivalent of $221 USD. The Reno4 and the OPPO Watch should make it to other Africa countries in the coming weeks/months. |
akingbadeomoseb:Even Tecno Spark 6 for that matter is a good addition. From the Camon series it was expected that it will try to compete with Infinix Zero 8. The Spark 6 with Helio G70 gaming processor by MediaTek seems to be giving competition to the Infinix Note 7 after its success in the African market |
Mystiq25:Looks like Transsion is buckling up to retain its hold in the African market through improvements in latest smartphones like Infinix Zero 8, Tecno Camon 16 Premier and now Tecno Spark 6. Otherwise, it would be sweeped right out by brands like realme & redmi which have started launching powerful budget phones with the MediaTek Helio gaming processors |
askifa1:I am really impressed by all the upgrades Camon 16 Premier has compared to the Camon 15 Premier. The most evident and highly needed upgrade in my opinion is the integration of mediatek helio G90T because it is a much advanced processor which will enhance the performance of the phone and attract more customers. |
TECNO spark 5 was released four months ago with some really good specifications and pocket-friendly prices. Now, the company is all set to release its successor, Tecno spark 6. According to Geekbench, this forthcoming TECNO smartphone will be powered by the entry-level MediaTek Helio A25 which will be paired with 4GB RAM and Android 10 operating systems. There is a big chance it may also arrive in a lower RAM + internal storage configuration. On the other hand, the FCC certification bureau exposes a lot about this phone, thanks to the pictures of the device and its 10W charger that are included in the certification documents. Hence, it can be figured that it will come with a circular camera array for four cameras on the back with a fingerprint sensor below it. On the front, it will feature a punch-hole display. Do you know more specs of the phone? Share. |
khalidx:This is an awesome find. So this means this version will work on Redmi Note 8 Pro, realme 6 and the latest smartphones that Xiaomi and Realme have launched in the country right? |

Operating on Android 10 with the latest MIUI 12, the Xiaomi Redmi 9A has a large 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging. |
samueloyem19:Tecno has really tried hard to make the Camon 16 Premiere smartphone come across as "premium". All of the features powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor are really impressive. Mugelin:It was so unexpected out of Tecno but they finally launched this premium smartphone with the Mediatek helio G90T processor, which is an awesome fit for gaming |
Samson1851:I am amazed to see new launches by both Infinix and Tecno with the Mediatek Helio G90T gaming processor along with many other premium features! both Zero 8 and the Tecno Camon 16 Premiere are really good phones for gaming, photography and overall performance |
BlackArab:The specs of the realme 6 is really solid and I'm sure the phone would be a delight for gamers with the Mediatek helio G90T processor and other enhancements Highly recommended |

akingbadeomoseb:Acc to me the Motorola Moto G9 Power Lite is a decent budget smartphone with some standard features like Android 10 Os, 6.5 inches IPS HD+ Display, Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) Chipset, Triple 16MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) Rear and 8MP Selfie Cameras, 4GB RAM and 64/128GBGB ROM powered by 5000 mAh battery. But I don't see it as a major upgrade to the Moto G8 Power Lite. |
samueloyem19:The Mediatek helio G70 is among the latest chipset launches for the phones in the budget smartphone category! Had it not been for this technology, amazing phones like the realme C3 wouldn't have been available to us at such a reasonable price of 35,000 Naira ($98) |
beejayvince:On one hand we have the Infinix Zero 8 Coming with Helio G90T, and on the other Infinix Note 5 with the quad-core Helio A20 by mediatek. Infinix should be launching more phones like the Zero 8 for sure. |
skywalker240:the Redmi 9C is a good choice for gaming performance. Both helio G35 by mediatek & battery make sure to deliver good power-efficiency too |
Bestchild:The Apple iPhone 12 series has still not launched. Should happen by October though. However, the list doesn't mention the Redmi 9 series which was recently laucnhed by Xiaomi. It is definitely among the best |
samueloyem19:that's right. before the addition of good chipsets in the form of the Mediatek Helio G series, the low-priced smartphones had very few options in terms of chipsets. But now they're integrated with advanced features for a better gaming experince as well so that's an add-on |
samueloyem19:Well I'd say that for a price of N55,700, the mediatek helio A22 is neither the best nor the worst choice. But overall it works well with the other features focusing on power optimization & 3GB RAM packaged with a huge 7-inch display!. It's a good buy for both battery and display |
Jemerson:He's talking about the comparison between Redmi Note 9 (not redmi 9 which comes with the Meidatek Helio G80) with the Helio G85 and Realme 6i which is launching wiht the Mediatek helio G80 processor. And both of them just have a minor price difference but they're great for playing heavy games too |
Is anyone aware about the price of Tecno Phantom 10 Premier in Nigeria and whether it is available to buy? I hear it's a great ne upgrade just like the Infinix Note 7 with the Mediatek Helio G70. have been expecting such an upgrade from Tecno because other smartphones were using the same set of chipsets and this one actually seems really powerful for a mid-ranger |
Piloeternity:I would always prefer an Oppo phone over samsung in this price range because it has a much more impressive design. In this case OPPO A31 would be the right choice because the Mediatek helio p35 in terms of processing is much more power efficient than the SD 450 in Samsung M11 |
MISTAICEY02288:What are the chances that the realme Narzo 10 with the mediatek helio G80 processor is going to launch for the Nigerian smartphone market by the end of July? I have been waiting since its launch in India but no news as of now. |
samueloyem19:To be honest, I really like the specifciations of the Coolpad Cool 10. even though many would argue that it has a mediatek processor! But I ask, do we have other better processors in this price? If I go by the price in USD, it should cost about 50k Nigerian Naira, which is an absolutely fair price point for a smartphone with these features. |
