xclusivebyte:
A higher refresh rate is that the theme of smartphones in 2019. Back a year approximately, the feature was limited to gaming phones only. But now a 90Hz panel is extremely common. A $200 smartphone which I recently unboxed comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, that’s insane! But now, Xiaomi has come up with its highest refresh rate yet. It’s a 144Hz refresh rate. Not only that, there tons of things about the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro to speak about. I even have covered the specifications, features, pricing of Mi 10T, and 10T Pro below.

https://www.xclusivebyte.com/2020/10/xiaomi-launches-mi-10t-10t-pro-with.html
Redmi has done it again. Trying to lure the audience with heavy specs - 6.67 inches display, 108 MP quad-cam setup, 5G Network and 5000 mAh Battery which makes it heavier in comparison to standard smartphones- 218 grams.

On top of that, the price is quite high! In Nigeria, the smartphone will sell for 280,000 Naira, about 4,500 Ghs in Ghana, and 85,000 Ksh in Kenya.

I agree with you. Smartphones like Infinix Zero 8 and Tecno Camon 16 Premier with their MediaTek Helio G90T processor and powerful cameras are doing really well in the market.
Even Tecno Spark 6 for that matter is a good addition. From the Camon series it was expected that it will try to compete with Infinix Zero 8. The Spark 6 with Helio G70 gaming processor by MediaTek seems to be giving competition to the Infinix Note 7 after its success in the African market

Mystiq25:
In the last few months, I have seen a significant improvement in the caliber of phones released by the transsion company. infinix note 7, zero 8 camon 16, these phones have all come with a better processor than we used to have in the past, and now the latest infinix hot 10 and tecno spark 6, two entry level smartphones have all come with helio G70 SOC and a minimum of 3gb and 64gb storage. All thanks to the emergence of new Chinese brands into the Nigeria market, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo and the rest, if not for these brands I'm sure all the transsion phones I have mentioned above will come with these processors Helio A22, A25, P22, P23, maybe p60 on zero 8. Competition is good in a any business, consumers are the biggest winners.
Looks like Transsion is buckling up to retain its hold in the African market through improvements in latest smartphones like Infinix Zero 8, Tecno Camon 16 Premier and now Tecno Spark 6. Otherwise, it would be sweeped right out by brands like realme & redmi which have started launching powerful budget phones with the MediaTek Helio gaming processors

I am really impressed by all the upgrades Camon 16 Premier has compared to the Camon 15 Premier. The most evident and highly needed upgrade in my opinion is the integration of mediatek helio G90T because it is a much advanced processor which will enhance the performance of the phone and attract more customers.
PhonesTecno Spark 6 Rumored Specifications by harryodilli19(op): 3:27pm On Sep 23, 2020
TECNO spark 5 was released four months ago with some really good specifications and pocket-friendly prices. Now, the company is all set to release its successor, Tecno spark 6.

According to Geekbench, this forthcoming TECNO smartphone will be powered by the entry-level MediaTek Helio A25 which will be paired with 4GB RAM and Android 10 operating systems. There is a big chance it may also arrive in a lower RAM + internal storage configuration.

On the other hand, the FCC certification bureau exposes a lot about this phone, thanks to the pictures of the device and its 10W charger that are included in the certification documents. Hence, it can be figured that it will come with a circular camera array for four cameras on the back with a fingerprint sensor below it.

On the front, it will feature a punch-hole display.

Do you know more specs of the phone? Share.

Motorola Moto G9 Power Lite makes a debut with its MediaTek helio P35 processor, 16MP triple rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. What do you think about it?
Acc to me the Motorola Moto G9 Power Lite is a decent budget smartphone with some standard features like Android 10 Os, 6.5 inches IPS HD+ Display, Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) Chipset, Triple 16MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) Rear and 8MP Selfie Cameras, 4GB RAM and 64/128GBGB ROM powered by 5000 mAh battery. PhonesRe: Most Anticipated Phones Of 2020 by harryodilli19(m): 4:44pm On Aug 10, 2020
Bestchild:
With leaks and rumors floating around, it's time to take a look at the most anticipated upcoming phones of 2020.

We already know the big trends of 2020: 5G is coming, along with it will come bigger batteries in our smartphones, faster speeds, more and better cameras that allow you to zoom further, capture ultra-wide images and get more detail in pictures. Of course, 2020 will also be a hugely important year for foldable phones, an experiment barely launched in 2019, foldable phones should prove their worth in 2020 and compete against traditional smartphones.

We also expect to see a continuation of the war against notches with the very first phones where the selfie camera is placed invisibly under the screen of the phone, so you can have a true edge-to-edge experience. With all of these exciting rumors floating around, it's time to take a look at all the upcoming phones of 2020.

First half of the year:
Samsung Galaxy S11 series
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2
Apple iPhone 9
Huawei P40 Pro
Moto Razr
Tecno Spark5 Pro
OnePlus 8
LG G9 ThinQ
Sony Xperia 2
Xiaomi Mi 10

Second half of the year:
Apple iPhone 12 Pro series
Samsung Galaxy Note 11 series
Google Pixel 5 series
Huawei Mate 40 Pro
Tecno Phantom 10
Tecno Camon 13
OnePlus 8T
Asus Rog Phone III

Let's keep our fingers crossed and watch out these brands unfold what they have for us this year.
The Apple iPhone 12 series has still not launched. Should happen by October though. However, the list doesn't mention the Redmi 9 series which was recently laucnhed by Xiaomi. It is definitely among the best

Well I'd say that for a price of N55,700, the mediatek helio A22 is neither the best nor the worst choice. But overall it works well with the other features focusing on power optimization & 3GB RAM packaged with a huge 7-inch display!. It's a good buy for both battery and display

Which will you choose if you see both devices and why?
I would always prefer an Oppo phone over samsung in this price range because it has a much more impressive design. In this case OPPO A31 would be the right choice because the Mediatek helio p35 in terms of processing is much more power efficient than the SD 450 in Samsung M11

To be honest, I really like the specifciations of the Coolpad Cool 10. even though many would argue that it has a mediatek processor! But I ask, do we have other better processors in this price? If I go by the price in USD, it should cost about 50k Nigerian Naira, which is an absolutely fair price point for a smartphone with these features.
