Most people don't understand this.... ur area has 24/7 power supply does nt mean d state has 24/7... I stay in Olodo, Ibadan n we cant even boast about 5hrs daily bt pple who stay in areas like akobo, bodija can claim dey av 24/7.. dat doesnt mean Ibadan has 24/7 power supply. For Fash's statement to b true, it means every nook n cranny / majority of d state has 24/7.

Dnt b fooled by dis charade... No party was ready to waste his money for forms/campaigns. An election dat was nt conducted for over 7yrs in power,...... Only few wards had pple dat came out to vote on saturday. Most polling units were deserted..... Dat was a local govt selection not election

One tin i knw is... Every member of d healthcare team is very impt... Was at a state hosp today, nd even d doctors wia nt working 'cos JOHESU is on strike. Even overheard one telling a pt dat she cannot b admitted 'cos shes nt abt to delve into nursing services. Unavailability of JOHESU affects NMA n vice versa..No one is a god in d hosp... D sooner we realize dis, d better for our health care system

Dias dis mentality pple av abt Nigerian nurses and dias nothing u can do to change DAT. Dia mind is just made up about us. In tyms lyk dis, I wonder...is it DAT nobody in Nigeria has ever come across a nurse who was good to dem? Or who saved dia lives
In every profession, we av d good n bad eggs... Dis is not a big deal.
Firstly, Not every1 DAT wears white n works in a Hosp is a nurse. Not every female in d Hosp is a nurse.. Dia are auxiliaries/quacks, dia are record officers who might av been trained to stand in as nurses. Pls, let's all learn to spot d difference
I work with a teaching Hosp owned by a state govt. I'm an ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY NURSE n I must say d way d system is designed is sumtin else. In my own accident n emergency dept, NOTHING is available not even gloves or emergency drugs/ injections. Each pt provides wateva is being used for him/her. Wen a pt is rushed into my dept, d first tin is to tell d relatives to obtain a casenote while I start checking d patient's vital sign to know whats up with d patient. After obtaining d casenote, ur doc reviews u, writes out materials, drugs/ injections, u procure dem at d pharmacy, den we start treatment. DAT is d setting we find ourselves. Nothing available except u provide ur stuffs
Buh a nurse is in d centre of all dese,..... Despite being overworked, underpaid, abused by patients n dia relatives, I'm not FRUSTRATED.
I get blamed by d ignorant pts for hospital policies, I get blamed for d lab's incompetence, doctor's unavailability
I even get blamed wen d fault is from d patients/relatives failure to bring ur pt to d hosp on tym.... Buh in all dese, I'm a NURSE.. Im HUMAN. I'll still care for d sick/dying ones despite d talks/abuses/attitudes.
Not everytym is it d nurses' fault, sumtyms d Hosp policy, d govt lots of factors here
If u say ALL nig nurses are bad, prob UVE NT JST BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO MEET D GOOD ONES. BETTER STILL, STOP PATRONIZING QUACKS.

Acute bleeding can take life within few minutes. So, all those questions you asked up there are unnecessary. Emergency situations needs swift response. The bleeding might have been caused by anything(probably trauma) it is the responsibility of the nurses on duty to respond swiftly to the condition and not insisting on getting card for documentation which is for record purpose. The documentation can be done when the patient is recovering and stable. Documentation is not first line of management in emergency situations.

School of nurses are run like pure water, the institutions littered everywhere. U can find like 4 in a single city.
Then I maintain my stand on acquisition of degree in part time basis, it portrays it cheap.
