You see the problem? Does one of the kids have to be rich? What they need is to be comfortable & be able to cater for themselves individually. And what you need to get there is a sound legacy of education. I didn’t get any inheritance from my father other than education & it’s serving me well. I also intend giving my 1 - 2 children good education. They should be able to take things from there.

Nigeria will be worse in 20 years time with northern Almajiri kids storming Lagos from the north. No southerner wants to even imagine the carnage that will happen then. By then, the sane ones will be watching Nigeria on CNN from better nations.
Bro several Nigerians are narrow-minded. You're wasting your time arguing.

It's that narrow mindedness that put us here. The whites that didn't have 5-10 children, where are they today? The Chinese that have 1 child only aren't they progressing? The Indians that have 5-10 kids why is the poverty rate there so high?

These things are trends and facts. Nigerians work with faith and belief, two concepts that don't work in the real sense of it

Bro, don't work by sight, work by faith. I come from a family of 7 kids. We went through the toughest of times because my God fearing popsi will not compromise his faith to practice corruption. In the end what we gained most is character, humility, discipline and a fierce fighting spirit. No single sense of entitlement.

Today our last born is in a private university. Our first is a bank manager, second is a doctor in law lecturing in a prestigious university in Melbourn, I have just established a multi million naira factory, my younger ones are starting up real good.

Believe me when I say Nigeria is better now than before. I still remember during Abacha era when my family will have absolutely nothing to eat some days despite both my parents being senior civil servants. My popsi stayed beck at home on two occasions because no TP to get to work. People actually fed from trash cans back then.

Like I said don't work by sight. Work by faith. I know this because when I look at my popsi now am just happy for him. We are still coming up and he is already balling. Remember children are the blessing of God.
Faith landed Nigeria where it is today....

Besides Nigeria isn't better now than before. Your family is better now than before.... There's a huge difference

You guys were lucky to have been dedicated and born in a period where education had value. If your popcy been try that 7 children thing now, e go be problem

Like I said as for me ooo either maximum or minimum its 4kids.

When you know how to play your cards well. You will understand my own point
You're quite narrow minded and don't really possess common sense.

It's not an abuse. It's actually a fact bro

So the summary of the whole thing is "how to restrict the chances of a wife from cheating"! Reality is be it man or woman, anyone who has made up his/her mind to be promiscuous, there is always a way to actualize it.
If you're talking like this, then you probably haven't met many people and seen/heard experiences sir.

Anyone who has made up his/her mind to be promiscuous would be, yes.

However, we all have different reactions to temptation. Especially women wey dey softly fall once dem jam one crazy nigga wey dey lie for them.

Roll with several women and get knowledge about their private lives before you can understand the OP.

He said something here which should have made you understand where he was coming from and I quote,

'The truth is that they never ever wanted to cheat on their husbands, but when it lead to it, they didn't just do it once or twice, they kept on doing it codedly.'

If you're one of those who believe in the 'only a woman who wants to cheat will cheat' farce, then g'luck to you sir...

Education / What Scholarship Programs Should I Apply For? by haryomikun(m): 10:38am On Dec 08, 2019
Good morning people. I just gained admission into 200 level as a DE student in the Management Sciences faculty, Unilag.

I'm experiencing financial difficulties regarding accommodation, (if I don't successfully get a hostel because of the highly competitive balloting) school fees, and a few other aspects concerning education.

I know about the MTN and NNPC scholarship programs. I, however, want to increase my chances by applying for more scholarships

I searched online but found vague information concerning numerous scholarships in Nigeria.

I'd love to know other scholarships I could apply for and the requirements for eligibility. You could also share your experiences regarding scholarships you've applied for.

Yababoy:

I do not totally agree with you. There are also Actuarial Consulting firms (though very few) that are always on the lookout for good Actuarial students in Nigeria to employ. I will also tell u from my personal experience that the demand is there, remember the supply is very very low in Nigeria, so the few ones are very highly demanded. With the reforms, the demand will only go higher and I'm sure u can infer what that means for the few professionals now.
As per the MSc in Actuarial Science in the UK, I'm sorry to tell u that ur chances of getting a job in the UK after the MSc is about 1% as the visa rules have changed. Companies will be willing to employ u but they would be limited by the visa rules. However, u have the option of moving to Canada, USA or Australia afterwards.
My final word is that the MSc will give u a headstart in the Exams because of the exemptions, if u decide to look for work experience in other countries its fine and if u also decide to come back to Nigeria to work a bit u will also not regret it. I am speaking from very personal experience.

I just gained admission as a DE student into Unilag to study actuarial science. I noted down your posts and believe you have a great deal of knowledge on the actuarial science course and the actuary profession.

I'd love to have your contact sir

Kemmiiee:
Congratulations. Well, it's been quite a while and what I'll just say is Actuarial Science is not for everyone, actually, it is for a select few. I'm not even referring to the school courses now. You need to start preparing yourself for the professional exams from now. Also if you don't enjoy math or challenges, then start planning your escape route from now.

This is not to scare you. It's simply honest truth. However, it is 100% doable. You just need to be prepared and disciplined and you need to do a lot of internet research to be informed on the profession.

I wish you the best in your studies. Stay focused and be avoid trouble.

Cheers.
I was a Jupeb student. I've now been given admission into 200 level. I presume you're almost done with Unilag now.

I need guidance on actuarial science... May i have your contact please? WhatsApp contact preferably ma'am.

Thanks in advance.

True. I hope the naira doesn't get devalued further with this constant borrowing
It would... The CBN is our saving grace. Otherwise the exchange rate for don fall brakata like old mama breast. The CBN keeps the exchange rate fixed at 360/$.

If people can't import anymore because of the high exchange rate, foreign businesses go leave the country and everything go begin burst.

We already know when the bubble will burst, just wait for the crude oil prices to crash. Nigeria's real estate properties are overvalued, we have no viable economic policy that will attract foreign investors. The economy that is robust is the one that is entering into the stage of industrialization, but Nigerian is far from that.
I've been saying it for a long while now. Once those oil prices crash, Nigeria would enter emergency state and a war would be looming.

No country without sufficient money can adequately survive

One time last year, I asked the apprentice to barb Afro for me and i noticed the shaping was off, making my head look like a parallelogram.

I was so annoyed i told him- practically screamed- to change it to low cut so eyes wouldn't be raised when i had a low cut hairstyle without shaping.

His boss came in and rectified the situation a bit sha. Never went back to the place
