Evening guys...
Traffic was friendly today sha...

Like I said this morning, being new to programming language it was back and forth..
Took java class... damn java was deep for me.. felt it could take me years to grasp... then to c#... but the day I stumbled upon python that was it!..
It became my language. Had to drop all other language and focus on python. Took python videos for 2months despite my web dev
Then asked after learning python what next...
I started learning django. Was solid to some extent on django. I was feeling fly seeing my self as minor full stack..but it wasn't challenging to me. Searched again the application of python then stumbled upon data science and analysis..
It felt like this was what I wanted..
It took me 1 year to realize that its data science/Analytics I want.
Sorry, I’m studying actuarial science and would like to learn data science/analytics… I have no knowledge of computer programming.

Can I start learning python and understand the concept immediately even with my zero background in programming? What links would you also recommend ?

Lagos island in this instance doesn’t refer to the whole of island. He’s referring to ‘eko’ as in the community. Don’t mind Lagosians, they like to get people confused about it and don’t make distinctions.

Lekki, Ajah, VI and other parts of the island live soft lives.

lol well the truth is those shit coins could be major coins in years to come.

Just know what you are doing and if you must invest wisely, go for the known coins like Bitcoin, Etherium, lite coin ,dash and so on. And if you can get free coins why not.

You can watch this update about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to understand the fluctuating nature.

Cryptocurrency investment is not a scam at all... You just have to be very patient with the fluctuating values with focus on long term profits..

Juxstaposing scam to cryptocurrency investment cos of a drop in value simply means you don't even know what you are doing.

Go educate yourself.

He never called crypto a scam. He lectured people on what pump and dump scams are (which, by the way, is popular even in stocks trading)

Israel didn't launch any missile to civilian targets at Gaza as you are trying to misrepresent! If Israel does that, by now the Palestinians would be counting hundreds of deaths!!

Rather, after the Palestinians rained rockets into israel, the Israelis used fighter jets to specifically target Hamas soldiers and their buildings!!

Unfortunately, the Palestinians were using children as shield and didn't heed to prior warnings to vacate the buildings!

Most celebrities pay with a NDA so they don’t get involved in scandals. Besides it can be wiser to pay someone off with 350,000$ for something you didn’t do than shout that you didn’t do it and lose millions in endorsements or deals

Too many unanswered prayers, I quit praying and start working more, building myself more, learning more skills and I start getting results and I say what's the point? Everything you prayed for doesn't happen until you work for it... then what's the point of the prayers? If I asked my earthly father's stuffs and he continuously doesn't give me until I work for it, what's the point of asking? let me start working for it since it's more effective than asking for it.

There are too many things we don't want to speak up both Christians and Muslims because we're too afraid of the hell threats... 50% of humans are serving God out of fear of hell, the rest 50% are serving God out of personal greed which is promised of heaven.

If you're down at accident scene with injuries, no amount of prayers will save you if you're not taking to hospital for medical attention
In sickness it's still the same
In needs your fellow humans will be at your mercy when you speak up or when they noticed the signs.

Maybe the Brain behind our existence Left us to our own faith,
Maybe he made us to be our own gods by having each others backs.

I've gotten to the stage I'm no longer afraid to ask questions, I've stopped buying that "you can't question God" lines pastors and preachers had been giving me... I've stopped buying "the portal and clay" analogy. Clay doesn't complain about how the portal mould it because it's an inanimate object with no consciousness... Don't expect me to be like that.

Don't mistake me for an atheist

Meaning that the guys behind btc are mining people's wealth steady.

Personally, I think Nigeria has done well to ban btc. A country battling with cybercrime and embezzlement should stay far away from a cryptic system that makes it difficult to track the owners of wealth.

These jargons are the main reason why I dislike the stuff.

Many people doing bitcoin trading sef don't know how it works. They only follow the crowd.
Do not become a dullard sir. Bitcoin is one of the easiest ways to track money since it has a default ledger.

Besides, before the advent of Bitcoin and crypto, have politicians not been hiding and embezzling money?

1.) Good one.
2.) I believe that effectively moderates how one should take your advice. You are not a practicing polygamist, you have not been one and you are unlikely to know for sure if polygamy is the solution to the point being raised.
3.) Actually, it's not a myth, it's very recent history and many with old parents or grandparents will readily corroborate the main gist of my submission. It has nothing to do with feminism. A man that feels the need to be defensive in the face of feminism and using polygamy to do that, is actually a weak man. A real man logically assesses his situation and evolves an intervention, not because of some feministic ideology but in spite of it as though it never existed in the first place.
4.) And no, it is fallacy and not fact. You are generally not allowed to elevate an opinion to the level of a fact.

Some of us don't mind waiting for you to try out polygamy as a solution to deprioritization of sex by women post-wedding; then we can see if your advice is the solution. :-) Right now, you are not qualified to enthrone a suggestion you haven't tested to the pedestal you are placing it on.

MBA is people's nightmare this 2020. As they survived Coro everyone trusted them, hopefully they will make profit and settle everyone gradually. This is the time they need to prove they are into forex trading. There will be no more new investors so, they should trade the forex and pay everybody otherwise, they are scammers.

The thing opened my eye self... All you need to make 22% profit monthly from forex is just 1 pip daily from EURUSD @ 1.00 lot. Simple thing that is 95% certain... Na wao
95% certain? And 95% of traders fail woefully in the markets lol.

Theoretically, with 0 spread, you’re right. However, when we factor in greed, you definitely won’t take profit with 1 pip gained.

Now back to reality, you have to contend with the spread/commission of the broker you use(typically 10 pips or more which means you have to go 11 pips in the right direction to make your $1 from your 1.00 lot) and swings in the market to the wrong direction, even when your analysis is correct.

If you’re serious about trading forex, head over to Babypips school to learn more sir. Getting 1% profit each Monday-Friday is like short scalping which becomes tiring very easily

Since you want us to discuss the characteristic of money let us talk about a key one which is portability - Can we really say that cryptos are portable?

You can buy an orange and pay for it immediately with cash whether physical or electronic. The same cannot be said of cyptos. You have to start worrying about a 16 character wallet address then you worry about a public key, then worry about private key they start analysing the decimals to come up which the value which should be in the neighbourhood of 0.0000000002356676474BTC

All this trouble just because you want to pay for an orange!

Just saw this from you lol. Even bearer bonds aren’t as portable as crypto.

Theoretically, a single hard drive can hold $500 billion worth of money in crypto. Even bearer bonds with that value would be heavy to carry.

The 16-character private key thingy can also be worked around. That’s the whole point of technology man. You keep finding solutions.

If Karl Benz assumed cars would have no viability because there were no roads available at the time, he wouldn’t have invented the car. If Alexander G Bell assumed telephones wouldn’t provide utility because there were no phone lines at the time, you and I wouldn’t be typing from our phones today.

I think you’ve been discussing with people who are stupidly bullish on cryptocurrency that’s why you’re opposed to believing.

Forget about bitcoin, forget about crypto. Watch something that makes you understand money in its barest form, right from trade by barter. Then you’ll understand better

The Naira and Dollar afe backed by law which means that you are empowered to use them to make payment withing the physical jurisdiction of the issuing countries.

Cryptos are not necessarily illegal but that does not mean that they have legal status as legal tender in any country.

The value of cryptos depends solely on marketing hype by the creators with the most prominent being Bitcoin but there are tens of others which have less publicity cos people just wake up and create their own.

No country in the world would allow it's national currency to be controlled by cartels

The fact is that you cannot force anyone to accept payment in cryptos.

Even you will not accept payment for the sum of N100 million in an obscure cryoto such as Zugacoin or Pi

You’re definitely right about some parts of your assertion. However, the premier crypto, Bitcoin never needed any hype before it became a currency. Its ‘hype’ started on a dark web site, Silk Road.

Those other cryptos you’re talking about are simply akin to ‘shares’ for raising money for investors. They’re traded as securities. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has a vision to be a currency.

Second, I never said Bitcoin (or any other existing cryptos) will become a national or multinational currency. What I mean is that cryptocurrency has shown the world a way to improve on one that is free of debasing and inflation.

The central banks of Japan, Canada, Europe, and a few other regions have started research on creating their own cryptocurrencies.

Just look at it this way. In King David’s time, payment was made in gold, a heavy metal. In the reign of the Roman Empire, it was coins. Today, payment is made with sophisticated paper. Cryptocurrency is simply just shifting the focus to the digital landscape, one that is proving to be by far the best out of all payment methods.

And to think someone has been after me to invest in this kind of scheme(VGC) for the past 6months now? Told him as a financial expert, there is no investment that guarantees an ROI of 20% per month or 240% per year!!!. In fact, the moment you mention guaranteed ROI, i get put on guard.
All this are pyramid scheme that depends on new inflow to pay old members. As their rank swells, so does the need for more inflow to pay old "investments" until a saturation point is reached. All HYIP will fail. Its 100% sure. Its only a matter of when and how fast it will. The lower the guaranteed ROI, the longer its likely to stay, but it will still fail.
Of course, if you join early, you are likely to make a lot of money. Afterall, some people cashed out heavily on MMM.

By the way, my friend has made his returns steadily on his 1m investment for the last 6 months. Still wont advice anyone though
The same thing I said to people on my Whatsapp status. You can make money from a ponzi scheme. However, make sure you’re early and there are no signs of imminent absconding.

Then put what you can afford to lose just once and jump out immediately to avoid getting greedy

I also maintain that even a legitimate investment that guarantees ROI seems shady. Even for forex investors. Guaranteeing a person a specific ROI means you’ll over trade and probably lose the person’s money.

The Naira and Dollar are backed by law, the nonsense crypto is not backed by law in any country on earth!
And that’s the beauty of it. It is backed by the people themselves! Cryptocurrency is the definition of financial anarchy

The naira and dollar that are backed by law, have they not lost value since the start of the corona virus? Can you make cross-border payments without changing them?

No characteristic of fiat money states that it has to be backed by law. Only that it should preserve value and should not be produced in mass quantities to prevent inflation. Cryptos satisfy both qualities better than the dollar you’re screaming about
