My friend and his wife did biometric October 27 their visa was refused on the 25th march they were going for honeymoon because their wedding was last year their POF is 32m for 10days they attached some documents and pictures of the wedding and family, here is a copy of the refused letter. What do you guys think?

Just they pray make Lagos no handle ur file…. Most passport got visa refused from Lagos Vo lately, they check thoroughly much more than Nairobi… that Nairobi Vo nice to Nigerians. If Lagos handle the visa they know ur POF is liking worked on.

I am definitely re-applying. I use a sponsor account. And the other people use their personal account plus sponsor accounts for the same conference. The agent apply for us all. I don’t have NIN or bvn or bank in Nigeria, as at the time of my application. I actually wanted to do Express entry now. I spent hours reading comment in EE forum nairaland, I don’t understand nada.
Here is the cropped photo of wat d agent send me. I am posting to help other in same situation know what to prepare for. I didn’t get PPR but am happy other people we apply together did. No retreat, no surrender.

I did my biometrics October 30. For Conference. Got my decision today PPR denied.
4 other people we applied together, today got their PPR today. To everyone, (Nov applicant n co) waiting I hope VO decision favors u.

Most probably a decision as been reach for u. If u use agent. Go to him let him open it in your presence and see. If you apply ursef and u still didn’t receive decision till now raise a webform. You mention before u have been refuse USA visa and u didn’t mention to them. Ur case is tricky, heaven help us all.

These days EE is fast, less than 6 months for some people even there was a 3 weeks 5 days approval last year on the EE thread.

Study is now hard and will even get harder because the minister announced earlier in the week that they’re taking just 5% of what they usually take from summer but it’s like they’ve started now because na so so refusal I don dey see. You know what 5% means compared to before because that’s a huge cut.
You’re a graduate why don’t you explore express entry? PNP learn French and the French draw scores have been very low lately signifying they want French speakers.
Evaluate your degree and take IELTS , tailor your work experience.

I can’t do EE. I wanted something faster. I don’t want to sit for ielts, I don’t even have resources of it funding nor ready to study or practice anything English/French. Thanks for ur honest opinion. As hard as LMIA is… I hope it will favor me and come with ease for me….

207,18,19 were the years asylum seeker chopped serious raffle draws after then they started recruiting more Nigerians into IRB and they do it for one reason so they have an idea how Nigerians reason, operate and if our claims are true and the moment they clocked most claims were false they started refusing people. I advise anyone I know please don’t seek asylum it’s a double edged sword that will most likely go the wrong way.

So what route is best now pls. For someone with vv . I heard study is hard too now and even expensive sef. What other way to stay in Canada.

It's not illegal to use an agent. You've said it all, bro.

However, if you go through an agent because you don't have a strong POF, please don't come here crying if you discover at the end that your agent used fake documents on your behalf or if things don't work out as planned.

STFU ur gutter and don’t spill shit. There are genuine sponsors for travel. Not all Agent uses fake document. What the point if it gonna be verify and rejected. No buisness run on trial n error… like DIY. Feel free to air ur damn opinion without Quoting me.

If it was easy filing for sef… we will… wen most of u shouting DIY receive calls to help others, maybe family members sef, boost their account, so they can have good POF… u come with excuses… since when is using travel tourist agent a crime… unah don advice us diy we accepted, Atlst some of us still have pending application, don’t render us hopeless, because it not all agent are same. and By special grace of God we shall receive our PPR soonest…. Don’t try it. You will earn 10year ban, no boarding pass for u. The same format was use for me a year ago. The agent says it Canada non appearance visit visa. I refused Flying after google search, Someone I know who did try to fly was caught and banned. It a fake visa sticker. No one will take u to flight and it a 50/50 chance. If u are able to fly, they may only drop u at any country in Schengen region. The connecting flight will never pick u. Ur fate begin from there either u get deport to Nigeria back, then de say it ur luck, no refund again. Or if u call them they tell u to declare asylum in d country u transiting in. If u can’t verify or present at biometrics center most likely it fake. Save ursef this mental stress, call for refund. All this format no longer work. It 2024

Your have to post their passport by Dhl to where u did biometrics or take their passport u with them in person to where u did their biometric. This is to my knowledge.

How can I use an agent when I have an android phone and data to research? Visit quora, nairaland, read extensively, even print as much as you can...any information relevant to the type of visa you're applying for. Most of these agents aren't as knowledgeable as you are. They also visit here to tap information either as guests or as members. Always DIY but they'd never listen. They can consume their data on Netflix movies instead

DIY is cool if u got POF.
Some use agent cos some agent provide all and urs is only to be present at biometrics center.
As much as there are scammers everywhere, there are still good agents. Not everyone wants to rack there brain. Or sit with Lappy or phone.
Do what works for you… not all agent are scammers.
I know people use agent and got positive outcome, so also people who diy and got positive…. Likewise opposite… diy with large POF yet denied… agent with 1000years visa experience yet denied… all is grace…

A lot of person are beginning to scare me saying one should delay asylum at the port because of the the questions at YYZ airport.

Forget other saying you shouldn’t declare asylum. Many form rich here a lot. Over sabi kill our people. So far more than 4 people I know too after long talk and over paying hotel bills they ended declaring asylum. Hotel bills is choking. Better to declare asylum from airport. You will be taken to lodge, while you wait for hearing. All these aren’t hard as people make it look.

I knew it too, back of ma mind, that her PPR may likely not be from MP long leg. If one have done the needful, the Visa will come. Hers too is already 3 months n 19days as at Monday. So with or without MP, the decision is same. Canada is what in vogue in my area here IKD. Almost everyone around me got positive result. My family friend applied, family of 5 all visa approved and in Canada already and processing took 3months and 17days. My brother own took exactly 4month.

There is nothing like MP long leg. If you have anyone residing in canada, they can simply contact their district MP to inquire on the status of your application from ircc. Because they are members of parliment, ircc will respond to them faster. I contact the MP close to where i stay in canada for my spouse visit visa app. Cos its more than 171 day, and fortunately he was once secretary to the minister of immigration, and the current Attorney General of Canada. I just hope he i not too busy to put in a word on my behalf to ircc.

Since you used an agent,you never can tell whats happening or what has happened because some agents can be funny.
Why not try creating a tracker with the email u submitted while filling the form,you might be lucky thats the email he used for your application.

Meanwhile,i had my biometrics September 8,and i also havent heard anything,i also used an agent,but i could open a tracker,so i see on the tracker no decision made yet and background check still in progress.

Everyone time line isn’t same. You will probably get positive result, if you will be refuse it will have come January. My brother did his biometrics same week with you, he got his PPr and visa stamped and received already in first week of January.
I did mine October 30 and it 3 months and 21 day today. A lady posted she did bio same as me Oct 30 and she posted here on Monday that she received are PPR. She mention she have MP long leg in Canada though… but let hang on…. You will be congratulated soon, and everyone here. Amin
