PoliticsRe: Islamisation Of Nigeria:Why's Mr President Still In The "holy Land"? (OIC) by hatch: 7:07pm On Jan 21, 2010
davidylan:
Havent we all become disenchanted with the muslim trick of accusing others of "promoting" religious violence that IS ALWAYS carried out by muslims? Why is it that you can disparage other religions, insult them on the web and in public, enact laws against them WITHOUT PROMOTING RELIGIOUS VIOLENCE? Why is islam different? How on earth can a mere thread on NL be responsible for instigating religious violence? Are muslims so prone to violence?
@ davidylan

For your information,i am not a muslim and its really shallow to think that everyone in Yemen is actually a muslim. Not back to the subject.I really wonder sometimes where exactly it is that you stand when it comes to political issues with religious undertones.

I've followed your responses on threads on the religious section of NL and you appear to me as confused violent christian defender. No offence to christianity but brash way of suddenly bashing anything muslim is honestly the primary cause of many religious related crisis in Nigeria. When people of different faiths are not tolerant of each other,we are bound to have re occurring decimals in the likes of the jos mayhem.

face the issues and stop the muslim side bashing.Both you and i know that this thread regards the OIC and Yar 'adua is totally false. Raising such assumption will only mischief motivated.

I would have responded to your post but seeing your location which is Yemen i decided not to do that as it will amount to an exercise in futility.

Keep honing your suicide bombing skills there but be rest assured that it shall explode while strapped to your hijab.
@Sunny_bobo
Its funny how NL churns out Retards in their masses. My present location is irrelevant to the issues at hand. And the fact remains that people like you are responsible for brewing and instigating religious violence with dumb speculations such as this one.

edoyad:
Amen sunnybobo, though i don't believe in God i don't see why others must be forced to someones God.
@edoyad

Priding yourself as a non believer in God seems to be one of your sole aims on this forum. I think we can tolerate that but using this medium to promote religious violence i believe is crossing the line of freedom. undecided angry angry

Do you by any means know what it means for your country to be a member state of the O I C- Organisation of Islamic Countries ?
Go and read and understand it and don't be fooled by any of those, "it means nothing" lines.
I think it's Idi.ots like you that start religious mayhem in Jos and other parts of the nation. Grow up and stop instigating religious and secterain violence with such dumb posts angry

I want to say something. This is called politics.
Lagos state gave 1 million dollars. Despite that it was a goodwill gesture, it was out of other.
No state jumps over its federal government on such issues.
Lagos should have consulted the federal government to know their plans before throwing money around.

Japan is thousands of times richer than us.
The donated 5 million dollars. before individual wings come in.

There are also countries that donated nothing.
Its not fair though but sometimes we have to check how the affected country respond to such issues as well before doing anything.

All in All, Lagos state shouldnt have donated that money before federal government.
They now make federal government look wicked and careless.
Nigeria is in leadership crisis. Everyone including Fashola should be aware of that.

I guess he jumped and donated that money to make himself look very good to ordinary people of Nigeria.
He succeeded but in some World Govt, he could have been suspended from duty.
Just that Nigeria is not working.
@Sam Milla
Is your thinking warped or outright shallow ! Why bringing political sentiments in to this. SO Lagos state has to wait for directives before they give humanitarian aid to the people of haiti. What nonsense ! !
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Proves That They Indeed Deserve To Remain On The Terrorist List by hatch(op): 1:53pm On Jan 21, 2010
ter·ror·ism
The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
@Kx

Thank you so much for giving us a much more generic definition to the term terrorism .Unfortunately this defintion best suites and describes Nigeria's recurring decimal in the last 25 years.

manmustwac:
Yeah but apart the the guy who tried to blow up am american plane we nigerians have only been terrorizing and killing ourselves within the four corners of nigeria. We've never ventured outside nigeria.
@ manmustwac

Is that not enough reason and evidence that Nigeria was long over due for the list.
PoliticsNigeria Proves That They Indeed Deserve To Remain On The Terrorist List by hatch(op): 1:26pm On Jan 21, 2010
Obviously the recent violence in Jos,has shown that Nigeria indeed is a country that is troubled beyond comprehension. When a Nigerian citizen attempted to blow up a Jet liner on 25th Dec. last year. We automatically got enlisted on the terrorist nations list.

As expected,Nigerians as usual kicked against it giving all kinds of ultimatum for the nation's name to be removed from the list. How Ironic that aday after the yound Nigerian lad's failed bomb attempt,there was another religious crisis somewhere in one of the Northern states. It goes on and on like a recurring decimal yet an average Nigerian will scream to the High heavens that they are not a terrorist nation.

I guess the problem is that the average Nigerian doesn't really understand the definition of " Terrorism ". Logically this may be understandable since the United States seems to have given terrorism a new definition based on Al Qaeda involvement. Never mind,lets face it and live with it that giving the recent development going on in a Leaderless and Directionless nation such as this one. It will only be laughable to say that your nation is clamouring for its name to be removed from the terrorist list.

For a church dat rakes in millions of dollars weekly, 50k is highly unimpressive.
You see the problem with an average Nigerian is that instead of participating they are busy trying to pull down ! Anyway its not your fault. If internet access was not so easily accessible you wouldn't be running your mouth like this  grin By the way Annunaki are you not the slowpoke that started a thread about God coming from a planet X ??  huh

aisha2:
Why are they asking members to donate again? I thought Pastor Adeboye had a Billionaires club that had funds for such emergencies? If they need to raise an offering for this what actually is d funds for the billionaires club meant for?
I know that its painful to envy and be jealous of RCCG and Pastor Adeboye  huh And the only way you can attract attention is to try to be sarcastic . tongue Too bad ! We have a billionaire's club and we can't bail you out !

Youngichou:
Imagine just $50000 out of the billions they make per day  They didn't even donate anything. Why should we called that donation when the money are refunded.
Its obvious the original poster is being mischievous with the closing sentence but as i have stated. Most of you on NL take the freedom of speech clause for granted. " on Sunday to replace the $50,000 donated by the church. " This statement is 100 % false and a cheap means to run RCCG down.  undecided

PoliticsAlthough America Failed To Connect The Dots,nigeria Still Paid Dearly For It. by hatch(op): 6:42pm On Jan 09, 2010
President Barak Obama clearly admitted in his speech a few days ago that " They failed to connect the dots" giving blows to intelligence failures and short comings which was clearly shown with Umar Abdulmutallab Senior's prior notification of his son's activities to American Intelligence.

Yet they failed to connect the dots as obama put it and were saved by the whiskers on December 25. Yet Nigeria as a country still took the fall and felt the bitter vengeance of God's own country (USA). Certainly we were the sacred cow in the incidence and in fact are the bitter losers.

America now comes with new TSA laws and lists us a Terrorist prone nation with usual suspects such as Afghanistan,Yemen, Pakistan and Iraq. We are now subjected to un necessary profiling all in the name of " America now trying to connect the dots"

America is a proud nation no doubt but regarding foreign diplomacy and international relations they a times miss the mark and this time they certainly have. One now wonders what Nigeria actually had to do to avoid us taking the fall for a single mislead lad's sin considering the fact that his dad did a brave heroic act by reporting his own son to the appropriate authorities in America yet they still failed to connect the dots and pass the bulk of the blame to us.

Yes we have our issues and own teething problems in Nigeria, religious unrest,militant wahala and a president in coma but lets face it. If truly the war is against Al Qaeda as they claim then adding Nigeria to its terrorist profiling list is rather taking it to far. undecided
