VisaOfficer: Hi everyone -- I'm a U.S. Foreign Service Officer, and I started a thread about visa questions elsewhere in thie section. I just wanted to say a few words about Diversity Visas.

1. The rules of the program are extremely strict, and there are no exceptions. So if you entered the Diversity Visa program and did not list your spouse and all your children, you will be disqualified. Even if you wrote to KCC (Kentucky Consular Center) later and told them that you forgot to list your spouse and children, it doesn't matter. You will not receive a visa, and there is no refund. So, please, if you realize you made this mistake, do not waste your time and money. It's not worth it.

2. If a tout filled out your application for you and is trying to make you pay, SHAME ON THAT PERSON. You can check your own status without paying anyone through www.dvlottery.state.gov . Unfortunately, if you have lost your confirmation number or the tout won't give it to you, there is no way to check your status. That's why it's so important to keep your confirmation number. Edit: Hurray, I was wrong about that! You can check your status without a confirmation number now. Don't give the touts any money.

3. If a tout filled out your application for you with someone else's name and photo, and now you are considering pretending to be that person, it's not worth it. We will have YOUR photo and fingerprints on file forever, along with a note that you attempted to get a visa using a false identity. That incurs a permanent ban on ever receiving a visa to the United States.

4. Please do not enter into fraudulent marriages in an attempt to bring another person to the United States. You will end up with a charge of "attempted alien smuggling" on your record, and that will permanently bar you from entering the United States. The fake spouse in the case will end up with a charge of "material misrepresentation" and will also be permanently banned. Using a fake name won't help, because your fingerprints and photo will be on file, forever. It's not worth it.

5. If you are issued a visa, the U.S. Government will not find you a job or a place to live. The whole premise of the Diversity Visa program is that you are educationally qualified and can therefore find a way to support yourself in the United States.

6. The Department of State does NOT notify successful DV applicants by letter or e-mail, so if you receive such a letter or e-mail, it's a scam. Don't send money.

7. Most DV applicants are good, qualified applicants and have no problems getting visas. Just remember, the best policy is always to tell the truth. Truth is good. We like truth.

Best of luck to everyone!
interesting...u guys really love truth indeed!

[quote author=De-Genius]So many people keep complaining about how bad the Nigerian government is for not creating enough Jobs for the teeming youths leaving the universities.

in fact i almost shed tears when i read in a magazine that 96,000 Nigerians turned up for an interview in an organization with just 15 vacancies... and the people surrounded the building hoping to be the lucky one to get employed.

hmmm...

very pathetic.

of course i agree that the Nigerian government has not really done well, but just to let you know, 53% of the population who are employed in the U.S.A are being employed by individuals who own small, and big businesses without the help of the government.

you can create jobs... and employ other people to work for you.

and believe it or not the best way to really start on your journey to have massive cash in your bank account is by selling. yes selling.

what do you sell?

the answer is something very valuable that is needed by desperate people with cash in hand. you see, so many Nigerians are faced with many needs, problems, wants etc.

and if you can provide valuable solutions to Nigerians who are faced with needs, problems, wants etc, then you can be sure of smiling to the bank always.

solutions are being provided every single day in the world. and in Nigeria, great people like Mike Adenuga provide Nigerians the simple means of communicating with their loved ones..

Mr. Aliko Dnagote has a mega business empire now because he is simply providing Nigerians with their basic needs like food etc

Complete sports provides Nigerians with the interesting things going on in the world of sports... and other businesses like that.

you too can do the same... but i want to show you my way.

Now for some Nigerians, the best way to provide solutions is by doing it in informational format like ebooks, manuals, books, reports, CDs, DVDs, Seminars etc... and believe it or not, smart Nigerians who are also 'jobless' are making millions per year just doing this.

and this is the solution approach format i want you to start working on. and the only thing you need is the foundation of how this works, the systems to make it work for you, with practical dedication on your side, you will definitely see a change in your finances.

i have put a master plan i have used over time to smile to the bank, and i want to give you this masterplan for free. now before you start thinking that this is just another nonsense crap, here's what you'll get from my free masterplan;

== you will discover how to identify a hungry audience desperate with passion for your informational solution with cash in hand to pay you (getting this right is like already having money in your bank account literally) ...

== i will also expose to you in simple steps how to create HOT sizzling information product for the hungry and desperate audience for less than nothing...

== you will also discover how to 'position' your solution in widely read and targeted mediums and attract hungry customers like crazy...

== you will be able to create and use simple communicative marketing system to market and sell your information product.

== you will also discover how to easily make your first N50, 000 in just 30 days or less using a simple targeted numbers approach (this is not get-rich-quick, but knowing how to do this will put N50, 000 in your bank account by using this system).

== you will also learn how to create simple killer messages to sell your information product to crazy hungry buyers...

and lots more...

interested to get this report? all you need to do NOW in order to get this report is to email your name PLUS your email address PLUS your phone number PLUS email subject 'Simple Cash MasterPlan' to cashbuilderinfo@gmail.com.

i will send you the report.

Note; it is high time you stopped looking for 'Magic System' to making money. it does not exist. In ALL sincerity, it does not exist.

if you go through this report and you don't begin to see some changes in your finances, in all seriousness, you need to be prayed for. a very serious prayer at that... and i can help if you need me... at least i know some radical men who can do the job.

i want to see you at the top.

thanks for reading.

P.S. this is only available to people who are smart enough to invest in themselves, and understands the benefits in investing in their education. if you are a freebie seeker, this is not for you.

P.P.S. i didn't use the names here to entice you... what i am telling you here is real and practical... if you want to start making as much as N50, 000 before the next 30 days expires, then you really need to read this report. you can get it by simply sending me your Name, phone number and email to cashbuilderinfo@gmail.com

Isaolamide: I tak tym 2 read wat one guy postd as an early mariage buh i jez de luk asif i dnt c hm...
Islam support early marriage but you can't c0nsumate the marriage until the girl is physically and mentally matured when her consent will be sought as to if she is interested in the union or not. If she's not, she must not be forced to marry that person. Clear??
She [Stella Damasus]was justspeaking with emotions. No one is forcing her to give herdaughters out in marriage at under age. Most of these people are not honestly against this act, it's obviously due to the end it came from. No one rose whenthe Senate legalised that 'STRANGERS' can come to our country to practise GAY AND LESBANISM but we can't join them practise it. No one stood against this law then! Is gay and lesbianism not mischevious acts? Even whatshe blabed out and grumbled is falsehood. Go on the Net, you'll see the real thing the senates AMENDED. Its not ABOUT CHILD MARRIAGE. Nigerians prefer their children being defiled than given them out in marriage, early. You can attest to that, sex before marriage! Even insome cases, they'd have 'grown beyond' marriage age before they want to marry! They value Western Education than anything using their lives as a Child play!
But right from time, we[muslims] have had our toes being stepped on by mediocre and sentimental christians. If you'll recall, the lagos hijab saga just passed. They passed sentiments and were not objective then too!
Should we say because Schools are not religious places, then, offend our Lord, Creator? If you don't put God first in anything you do, leave we that do!
To futher support my points, even these days when what Muslims request is found in the bible, Christians still won't follow it because of thisBLATANT HATRED they have for Muslims. This you'll noticeduring the time Muslims wanted to 'invent' the Islamic banking, Christians across the nation stood against this, claiming that we Muslims wantto use it to 'islamise' the Nation even though the bible states categorically that we must nt take Usury[interest]on money we borrow people. Now, we have Christians as partners of Jaiz bank, seen the value or tired of paying outrageous interests?
Brethren, another one out of THE COUNTLESS POINTS where Muslims are CHEATED is the Shariah [sure, you'd have heard about it]. No Christian will support it because of what they, Apologists and Antagonists, have told them. This week alone, I've read about SIX RAPE INCIDENCE, one of whichis a father-to-daughter defilement, no one shouted about this. Tell me, if a man knows that if he should havecarnal knowledge of someonehe's not legitimate to, he'll bestoned to death, will he do such evil act? This is what Muslims preach, what God almighty has set as living condition for human beings, for he's aware that we'll be tempted to do evils. So, he set aside these laws.
The level of theft and armed robbery would have reduced to bearest minimum if for every man caught, he is denied his own organ for holding things [cut his hand], others would be afraid of doing the same but alas, Christians hate Shariah. Rapeoccur mostly among Christians, not to abuse the religion though, because some practise 1-man-1-wife which their sexual urges surpass. This set, when not satisfied with what they get from their legitimate wives, they result to fornication. Catholic Churches is another ish, practising Cellibacy- not getting married! This is not so in Islam, you can marry asmuch as 4 wives as long as YOU WOULD CATER FOR THEIRNEEDS, not because the religion is for pedophiles but because naturally, women are more than men and sexual urge defer among men. This is the beauty of Islam and at the same time, the hatred Christians have for Muslims. Good night brethren!
Did you take time to read the article?
So, search for the truth yourself and not allow someone to just come frm nowhere and cook up lies foryou. For in truthfulness and sincerity lies Human salvationand eternal life. Yours, TF!
