Eudes:
Please if one is rejected by his/her PPA can the person be reposted to another local government? If it's possible how can it be achieved?
I engineered my rejection from one lga to the other. But I didn't get reposted immediately.
After the principal rejected me, I had to take the rejection letter to NYSC secretariat, and someone helped me work it to another lga. It's possible.
It's happened so many times... not just me alone.

2018 so far has been a great year though with its ups and downs,i failed a course in my final year, paid twice my school fee for a resit of just that course, I passed and eventually I was mobilized for nysc even before my course mates, I got posted to the same state were I schooled serving in the secondary school which is my Alma mata. June 14 this year an army officer slapped me because I smiled while he was talking to me, this made me vow to join the army after my service year, I regret not daming the consequences by returning the favour(slap). I just pray we cross paths someday, I will definitely remind him of June 14.
Oh my...

walahi na only the slap I read for here.

Was the army officer a male?

1. Not traveling to different local governments during service when I had the chance.

2. Allowing a missing phone at work to escalate when I should've taken care of things. I saw that the guy's room was open and then entered to tell him that he didn't lock his door and that they really steal well in the hotel. Then I proceeded to ask him where his phone was. Behold, the phone was already gone. Probably the door was open because someone had come in to steal the phone before I passed the area.

The guy escalated the matter by saying something totally different, saying that he locked his door when he didn't, and saying that I banged the door of his room, which made him wake up. I was shocked.
I could've just asked him how much it was and settled the matter without noise. Once it got to my boss 2 days later, another story came up and I was angry. Told my boss I'm no longer working and had to pay 25k for the said phone. Tried to call the guy and he said he didn't want to talk to me. The statement alone made it seem like I stole the phone.

So disappointed.

But then that's what you get in a one-man kind of business.

Good quality watches on AliExpress are usually 10k and above though. Just the same way you ordered your phone is same way you'll order a watch.
Try the watch called "Burei".

Sir.
Ref: SSC 44/ DSSC 23 Enlistment
Interview list was released on Friday, 29/07/16.
Interview commenced Friday 5/08/16 - Fri. 19/08/16.
This doesn't even make sense.
So when names come out, they give successful applicants 1 week to resume...
Are they seriously expecting us to get stuffs ready when we're unsure about whether or not our names will be out?

What happened to the methods universities adopt for their postume exams?

When you fail, you'll know that you failed.
But this one, when you fail, you'll start giving unnecessary excuses.

Everything rush rush.

Hello Gisbourne, please clarify...
When you say ''he didn't make the race''...

Is the aim of the race to just get there or be there before others.

Thanks.
TravelRe: 4 Reasons Why You Should Not Travel At Night This Yuletide by hausadreturn(m): 1:51pm On Dec 21, 2018
Travelling within and around Nigeria is not a Lagos to Onitsha kind of thing.

Once you live in the north (Sokoto, Borno, etc.), and you have to travel to the east or to Lagos, you cannot avoid night travel.

The OP has probably never made journeys of over 16 hours before.

Hey frnd, pls don't resign from your job yet. Even if your name appears on the first list don't resign until u make the final. You can take a brk from your work place. Even if a general has assured u of the army job still don't resign yet.

They way I see things, it seems the competition is very high. Evey general wants his wards in the military.

My dad was gistin with his course mate on phone and their gist moves from their usual talk to postings and enlistment talk. The man told my dad that he has told his nephw not to rely on the army job because his hands are shorts. That the big boys have taken over the enlistemnt exercise process.

That's when I realised that all generals are powerful but some are more powerful.

If a general could say his hands are shorts in the exercise then you know what it means.

Just pray for God's favor and dont quit your job yet.

I applied for this ongoin NN enlistemnet exercise and my dad gave my details to his course mate a commodore to work it out.

The list came out and my name wasn't on the list. The commodore's daughter's name came out. When my dad called him, he told my dad that he was asked to give only one name. And you know a man will not chose his friend's daughter over his own daughter. So he picked his daughter.

The commodore told my dad that he's not sure his daughter will make the final list. Because e get as e b. Every red collar officer wants his child there.

I don't blame them. I blame the situation of the country. No jobs.

What am I trying to say? The chances of getting this military job with or without connection is small.

Imagine the need only 3 candidates from a whole state and in that same state there are more than 10 generals and these generals all want their wards enlisted.

So brother think before you act.
This is funny.
I tell people I want to join the Army and everyone's telling me that I shouldn't try it, and that people are running from it while I'm going there like I'm blind.

But here lies someone categorically telling us that every senior personnel wants their ward in the army.

What is in the army that nobody is telling me?

psc means Passed Staff College. It means that d officer has taken staff colloge course at a staff colloge. Then the (+) represents dagger. So psc(+) means Pass Staff College Dagger.

dss means Distinguished Service Star. It's an award given to an officer who has done quite excptional in a given field or area of responsibility.

gss means Grand Service Star

fss means Forces Service Star. Also an award.
Good to know.
Thanks.

Interesting to see that an officer of very low rank has all these achievements in a space of few years.

It's been nice applying for the Army for the past 11 years,

it was nice making NDA interview in 2012, the memories still lingers,

It's been nice but painful seeing how some application veterans were forcefully pulled out of application against their wish.

It's been nice meeting everyone here, we made the long wait to DSSC/SSC 2018 recruitment together.

No matter the outcome of the much anticipated shortlist, have it at the back of your mind that God has a plan for you.
