Pls I'm interested. |

My brother, glad u are compassionate enough to want to help ur relation. I trust that our health practitioners in the house will soon attend to ur concern. |
Nigeria is presently being run like a mafiadom where d godfather allocates positions to his loyalists not minding if they deserve it or not. What a role model Kashamu will make for d younger ones smh. |
agabusta:. U ve said it all my brother. No other govt has allowed d exploitation and enslavement of d ordinary citizens by d friends of govt like d Goodluck administration. The guy is truly out of his depth and shouldn't ve had anything to do with d governance of a nation. |
What successful stupid privatization in d power sector are these posters talking about? The Odoakpu area of Onitsha in Anambra state has been in darkness since mid December and some pple are celebrating d present govt's success in privatising d power sector. The present govt only sold its citizenry as slaves to Emeka Offor and co nationwide.I am an anambrarian but d money I ve spent on diesel to run my printing press for d past 3 months would always be a reminder on our need 4 change come february 14th.U pple can post all d pics u want but d pics I ve is that of darkness. |
Isn't it funny that no mention was made of d so called power road map.Or is it no longer part of Jonathan's transformation road map? Why did Reno omit such a critical sector which has d ability to galvanize d enterpreunal capability of young nigerians? U can fool some pple sometimes but u can never fool all the pple all the time. |
egift:You just echoed my thoughts.it is obvious that the owners of the discos will be major campaign contributors to the PDP's presidential campaign. The minister's statement was an indirect way of assuring the cabal that they would recoup their campaign contributions from the already impoverished nigerians after the presidential elections. But will fellow nigerians be able to read btw d lines and see what awaits them if d present government continues beyond may 2015.Tarriff increase, complete withdrawal of d phantom subsidy on fuel etc will be PDP's thank u message to Nigerians if the present govt is re-elected.A word is enough for d discerning Nigerians. |
The discerning nigerians know propaganda when they see it.It is quite unfair to label a man who exterminated d maitasine sect of d 80s a terriorist sponsor. I advise the op to engage more on issue based posts. We all ve a duty of ensuring that d coming elections are issue based rather than propaganda and character assasination based.Nigerians are getting wiser by the day. |
I am happy that people are begining to ask the necessary questions about the supposed gains d south easterners have derived from d present government. The deplorable state of d Enugu-Onitsha and other federal roads in the south east were d focus of a thread that made front page few days ago. Op,I and a good number of young igbo men are with u on this. We can clearly see the dummy that is being sold to d south east cos election is around d corner and believe me when I tell u that a good number of young igbo men will not fall for these tricks. Not anymore. Agadi nwanyi daa uzo ada abuo,o guo ihe o bu n'ukpo onu (When an old woman stumbles and falls twice, she takes inventory of the contents of her basket. |
BOAR:Thank u for this thought provoking and insightful post. I agree in toto with u. |
maestroferddi:Brought issues to the front burner four months to elections. You ar actually the one trying to pull wool over pple eyes but your reasoning is so warped. I wonder what these non performing and corrupt politicians give to pple that make pple like u to throw away their sense of reason and shame d way u are doing on this thread. Suddenly, roads that weren't fixed in four years will now be fixed within three to four months. Let us wait for d government's magic like u said. Thank God they didn't put d blame on the opposition like they ve been doing. |
The federal govt has no excuse for not fixing that road which is very vital to the socio-economic activities of d South east. When did road construction become rocket science? Is it not time for ndigbo to do a soul searching and ask themselves some questions? What have we really gained by supporting d present government through thick and thin? If the president can treat issues that affect d south east with such levity even when he knows he will need our votes for his second term, what then happens after he secures our votes, knowing fully well that he would be in his final term then? How long will it take to complete d second niger bridge if a road of about a 100km cannot be completed in 4 yrs? Simply put,the present government has failed ndigbo and has no moral right to expect their support like b4. |
ngmart:. Are u for real? I am an anambrarian resident in Onitsha. Do u think I need any amdassador to gauge d performance of a govt? I plied the Enugu- onitsha expressway during d sallah holidays;do u therefore think I need a link to tell me the condition of d road in question? I am a customer to Emeka Offor's EEDC,I pay their charges both for my residence and office, yet I still ve to patronise d filling stations to buy d diesel for my two gen sets.I advise that u limit ur ambassadorial duties to those Nigerians in diaspora, who ve lost connection with friends and relations in Nigeria. |
When will all these political strategies transform d federal roads, stabilize power supply, provide security of lives and properties and jobs for d unemployed nigerian youths? It is quite incredible that the very youths whose lives are being wasted are mostly the ones celebrating these unproductive activities of our politicians. The worst type of slavery is mental slavery. |
What a thought provoking post.I believe that a good number of nairalanders who have low thresh hold for juvenile insults, tribal bashings and bandwagonism ve all resigned to reading without posting their otherwise reasonable contributions to issues like this. But I assure u that a good number of nigerians are not fooled by the government's propagandists and e-warriors. We ar only awaiting d day of reckoning. |
How could one ve listened to this speech when there's no light in many parts of Onitsha? EEDC is proving to be even less reliable than Nepa and Phcn. Independence day indeed. |
The issue of power alone should be enough to vote against d incumbent. I don't know about other places but here in Onitsha,it has gone from bad to worse;notwithstanding d outrageous bills from EEDC and their reluctance to issue pre-paid meters to their customers. The immigration tragedy is also another sore point for d present administration.I am still surprised that no one has been sanctioned after d preventable death of about 26 young Nigerians. If Mr president is really serious with his statement that his ambition is not worth d life of a single nigerian,I then wonder y he has failed to sanction d pple who ar culpable in d loss of these young men and women. Actions they say, speaks louder than words. |
The insenitivity of some Nigerians to the misfortune of their fellow citizens can be quite appaling. |
"The latest political craze in town is to draft a man who, long ago, already drafted himself" - Vintage Okey Ndibe. |
I still wonder where and where the 18hrs daily supply of electricity is experienced. I stay in Onitsha, anambra state and d power situation in d odoakpu area where one of our major printing firms is located has been pathetic for months now especially in august. And with d refusal of EEDC to supply prepaid meters to d residents,it has been exploitation galore with tales of sorrow from a good number of residents. What type of govt will allow its citizens to be exploitated by capitalists like Emeka Offor? Businesses ar crumbling while EEDC is smiling to d banks which is y it sounds so funny when some pple proclaim that D incumbent president has d unalloyed support of d south east. Time will tell. |
The absence of these three personalties at yesterday's poll should be an eye opener to those who think these men support Jonathan/ PDP wholeheartedly. Babangida Aliyu's excuse 4 his inability to vote is quite comic. It is evident that it will be an uphill task 4 Jonathan to win d nothern votes in 2015. |
tonytony208: why do u pple always want to fight, argue and abuse any time you read anything that LOOKS LIKE criticism to gej govt? You don't care if ur argument is sensible or not; you sha want to defend gej even if defending him makes you sound stupid.Kudos to u my brother. It is quite pathetic that some of us do not still realise d threat posed to every Nigerian by these boko haram insurgents just cos terror is not yet on our doorsteps. |
The present rainy season has been one of d worst in terms of power supply for the residents of Onitsha and other parts of Anambra state.Emeka Offor's EEDC has refused to distribute prepaid meters which enables him to collect money for services not rendered at d end of every month. Omotola should quit d generalisation and talk about her area. |
I live in onitsha, anambra state and I wonder what EEDC has against world cup matches especially the ones that involved d nigerian super eagles. They light goes off at d commencement of almost all d matches and comes on at their conclusion. It is quite a pathetic situation cos d bills keep on increasing at d end of each month. I ve totally lost hope on the ability of d present govt to solve d problem of power. |
It is quite unfortunate when a Government cannot keep its promises. How can a Government inspire trust, optimism and confidence in the citizenry without keeping its promises?SMDH for this government. |
December is here.Where is the 10,000MW you people promised Nigerians? .Instead its another season of excuses and bulk passing.Shame on u all. |
I will only lend my support when he delivers on his promise on stable power supply.Nothing less. |
