Gajagojo: You think because you have been washing bottoms in different hospitals you are now an expert on the NHS? You are the one that manufactured the term Top specialist
I don't have to have any numbers Presumably you went to school and did elementary logic He who asserts must prove The onus is on you I don't have to disprove anything
If you come out and say a UFO landed in your garden last night it would be stupid to ask me to prove that did not happen when I ask you to prove it did
You talk now like a fool asking me to travel and expose myself? Do you know where I am?
I am.just not immature like you talking foolishly about my biography
There is no need to talk about stupid surveys when the Generall medical council already have the information Parliament have the information and it is not secret
That data has been collected, analysed regularly and studies published as far back as 2001
So yes there is data about where every doctor in the UK practising today got their first degree and what they are doing now What is not there is
Top specialist because it has no meaning
You just made that up Wash bottoms? Who is this Cow? 🤣 I have a very respecrable job oga. Very respectable! By God's grace, I have done well for myself. (and I will do more) Yes you need to see the World as you are very crude! ...and you don't know jack. Getting disjointed things off the internet wouldn't help that. I made my words up? Hahaha. Rest oga. What I said, is what many Doctors have noticed and said too. There are about 10k Nigerian Doctors in the UK, so if they have noticed a trend and talk about it, it should ve true. You can keep on digging for Data. Better still, look up the Vascular Surgerons, Interventional Radiologists, Ophthalmologists, Orthopaedic Surgeons... and determine their ethnicity. I should bring you data? Should I also bring you data to show that most corner-shops are owned by them too. Or you wouldn't argue that too, if you don't get 'data?' ...and what is the big deal, if I mention the industry I work in on a faceless forum. People do it here, do it on Quora, on Reddit, without people getting triggered? What is hard in saying, 'I am a lawyer, or work in banking, or I am an ex-soldier?' How is that offensive in your disturbed world? Except you have something else biting you. Nobody doing something reasonable with his life, gets triggered so easily. Something is wrong somewhere, but hey this Nairaland and we can all pretend. I will leave it here... this is a fruitless venture. Have a nice day at work, school, or whatever you do. |

Gajagojo: You made a claim that
Most of the top specialists in the UK Are Indian
So you must have the following
1. How many tops specialists are there in the UK 2. How many are Indians 3. A source
If you don't have This then you are talking nonsense
The only evidence you have is your biographical claims ...and what numbers do you have to dispute this? The ones you thought-up in your unhappy sitting-room? Your rants are silly. When you do a survey, will you use the total number of individuals in say a country or a sample size. Or if they say 5% of Nigerians have HIV, it means 200 million Nigerians were tested and only 10million of them had the Virus. You go school so? Or you think there is a document saying top specialists in the UK and their origin? Is it not something you will see for yourself when you are in the system. Be reasonable oga. Better still, travel and expose yourself. You know what, na me cause am. I should have ignored your frustrated rants to start with. Whatever you believe is fine... Claims need a source and data to have meaning
Whether you call it top or juicy That is a construct that has meaning only to you Even at that you still need numbers and a source Not your personal conviction And you have those Numbers from Nigeria? Top specialty only has meaning to me? Guy! Stop embarassing yourself. Specialties have competition ratios, by that you know the top ones. Gajagojo: I can use stupid or any other word if I like
Did I call YOU stupid?You
The issue is the claim that
MOST specialist doctors in the UK are Indian
That is a lie
So telling us you work in the UK as if that will somehow make it true is not sensible This is a very well researched subject even by Parliament with plenty of information in the public domain. You are too anxious to talk about yourself.
That is what is unnecessary Can you read at all? I said 'top' specialists Why are you so triggered? Who offended you. If I say a few unidentifiable things about my self, have I commited a crime? Would you have been annoyed if I said I was a cleaner? So, back to what I was saying... Specialties are incomparable and everyone knows it (Or maybe you don't). In the UK, the top specialties, the hardest ones to do and get into are filled by Drs of Indian origin. That reality will still stare me in the face tomorrow. They are everywhere and doing very well for themselves. If you don't agree, it is fine. Happy? |

Gajagojo: Any idiot can come online to claim anything This is an anonymous forum
Your claim that you work in The UK is stupid because it is. IRRELEVANT
The fact of the matter is. Indian specialist are not MOST in the UK that is a dirty lie
The second thing is yes there are a large number of Indian specialists in the UK
Almost all of them had specialist postgrad training in the UK SO. There is nothing to credit India with there except the fact that they have a large number of medical schools and churn out more doctors that most countries which like Nigeria they struggle to retain because of poor pay
So you find they do PLAB,USMLE ETC more than anyone else so quit telling us bullshit about India
They are just a bigger version of NIgeria
How many countries in the world still see leprosy? India is one of them Alaye, you don't need to be triggered. Why have you resorted to insults? Am I the cause of your frustrations? 🤣 The hardest Specialties here-- top Specialties, usually have Drs of Indian origin. ( counting the countries that split from them also) That is how it has now become, because Oyinbo no wan wahala himself again. If you read my post and not just jumped to conclusion you would have noted I said 'top.' I have worked in many Hospitals, so I know whatsup. Check the Consultant lists for the juiciest specialties e.g. Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Gastro etc. in most Hospitals; you will see their names there. If is not them, it would be an older white Dr, as the younger ones don't want to stress themselves anymore. If you choose to argue otherwise, I will leave you to your folly. ...and it will be quite silly to say you cannot credit India for the successes of their Children abroad. Do they stop being Indian, because they left their countries? Do the Jews stop being Jews or the Nigerians stop being Nigerians. They are like a cult here, reason they have done well for themselves-- and they don't discard their values. They will marry Indian spouses and raise more indian kids. Besides India is supposed to be the 5th largest economy in the world and you think some people would not have cornered healthcare. Or why are Nigerians running there for the unafordable western healthcare? Your point on Leprosy is baseless. China also has horrible cases of communicable diseases, but does that discredit everything else about them. Tell you what, a Nigerian Doctor in the US recently donated 1M dollars to UCH. Would he do that, if he felt they didnt contribute to his training? ...and I will repeat, some foreign trained Doctors go back home-- to India, Nigeria or wherever. ...and they are earning big bucks. |

Gajagojo: I just addressed the claims Most specialist in the UK are not from India and almost all did specialist training in the UK even those with MBBS from India
There is nothing special about India just their huge population This means more medical schools and more doctors They export a lot of doctors because pay is poor in India just like Nigeria So do not hype India to us
The information his publicly available . Indian doctor to back home? What for to visit or to relocate? Well, you miss the point... 1. I work in healthcare in the UK, so I should know where most of the 'top' specialists come from. 2. If the do Specialist training in the UK, some of them will go back home to train Doctors there. 3. There is a reason they have big Private Hospitals like Fortis and Apollo. (I believe Fortis is even the major shareholder in Lagoon Hospitals-- the best performing Nigerian Hospital) I also believe their Prime Minister had a heart procedure done there, some years ago. If it was not good, he would have been flown abroad. 4. There is nothing special about India? Yet their child is UK prime minister and they have become stakeholders in major institutions abroad? Dey there! 🤣 ...and yes, some of their Specialists go back. The same way some Nigerian Specialists have come back home. |

The other thing is Their specialist training happened in the UK not India. They are. UK trained specialists

(thanks to our parent and their colleagues who spoil the country…. I know you might assume your dad’s not involved since he’s no politician, guess what our dad told their arms and watch the country turn into jungle)
Also, Every country needed Doctors and nurses…
Here in Nigeria , we have over 30 million people between age 18-25, most who’re students.
I will advise Nigeria to start grooming medical practitioners for the world… It will be a win win situation. Nigerians living abroad remitted 19.8 billion dollars back home in 2022…
Can you imagine what the country would’ve been without this people popping money to the economy, while our politicians are busy sending money out.
If we send like 1000,000 doctors to Europe, America, Middle East and Australia …. I want to believe this will help the economy….
So government should invest heavily in training many doctors , pharmacists, nurses and lab technicians… I might be wrong though, but I believe I’d we start by exporting brain , by 2050 we will have big professionals handling our economy and running businesses here back home. The Indians do this, reason they can perfom cutting-edge procedures locally. Most of the top Specialists in the UK are Indians-- they have gone far!!!! It is almost the same in the US too. When more of our Children get first class education, it will benefit us in the end. Even if only 1% come back to establish something, it will be a plus. Not to talk of the forex they will send home |

That is why it is important that parents teach their children how to face humiliations and failures in life and help them overcome these sure-to-come life challenges rather put more pressure on them. When Bible said that we should treat others the same way we expect them to treat us, Tinubu's Yoruba Muslim supporters deceiving good Yoruba Christians say na lie.
Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis have for many decades worked so hard to ensure Igbo population is reduced. They first polluted the minds and hearts of Igbo speaking communities with Igbo heritage in today's Southsouth that they are not Igbos, that Igbos in Southeast are devil that must be rejected at all cost, just because of crude oil.
They tell Igbo communities in Delta state, Rivers state and others to reject their Igbo identity and ancestry in the name of crude oil and some of those Igbos ignorantly dance to their tone just because Igbos lost war in 1970.
Today, nature is gradually rewarding all those that put sword of enmity among brothers in their quest to loot and steal crude oil money.
The one time undying love between Hausas and Fulanis and Kanuris and Nupes and Idomas and other Nothern tribes is breaking gradually. Soon, it will turn messy in the North when the full tribal war between Fulanis and Hausas will enter the full rage.
