You can call the UKVI helpline but you wont get any help. They're one of the most inefficient call centres in the UK (personal experience and experience of others).

You'd need to send an email to complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk and copy public.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk. You'd then start getting holding messages.

please I need an urgent help, I filled application for skilled worker dependant visa with my children but they send me a mail for one of the children that they can't decide her application because they are yet to take a decision on mine and that they have sent me a mail requesting for additional documents.

Now my issue is that I didn't receive any message requesting additional documents.

Don't inform your insurance company!!!

Like you I passed in August and went ahead to inform them (hastings direct), and was charged a one off fee of almost GBP 100.

I asked why and the agent said because I was a 'new' UK driver, so my risk was higher. Didn't make sense but I had to follow-through because I had updated my information. So my advise: stay silent, wait till end of your current tenure and go back on the market for a cheaper deal.

my Intl drivers licence also expired i.e I was using it for more than 12months which is also risky, so had to update my details at all costs.

Am so happy today, I passed my practical test on second attempt though with just three minor faults.
Please I want to ask, do I need to inform my insurance of my new license status or do I still stick to my former status which was International license. If yes, please why?

Please in using your car for the practical test, do you make any adjustments to your car to suit the test?

. When I did mine, I used my car and it was not a problem. The examiner even asked me and I said yes it’s my car. He asked if I have international license I said yes

Thanks so much for the detail responses, the issue is the MA has only one semester to complete the course but since the dependent has sponsorship offer, the MA want to switch to dependent visa on 3 years skilled visa and thereafter work full time and as well complete the last semester.
That why the question so as benefit from the experience fellow in the house. Thanks a lot.

No issues, the 20hours work rule is not meant for all students, but for those on Student visa. Once you've switched your visa you are no longer bound by the student visa rule, however you will be bound by the dependent visa rule which will probably be something like "restricted work and no recourse to public fund"

If my dependant is applying for refund, will it cover me the primary applicant who is a student and will her own also cover for the children. Thanks
