Our leaders are not threading the right path with the issue of sharing money. This kind of money will only suffice for food. Make the society secure, have motorable roads, provide quality and quality education both formal and informal and the economy stable and thriving, other things will follow. Our leader should stop this money sharing formula. It has never helped over the years. it another way of embezzling money and falsifying record

Really I don't know where and how to start but as long as our curriculum is still the same which has made us job seekers rather than job creators, many of the courses will be useless. Our curriculum is of the 20th century and that is why u will here jambites saying' where will I work after graduation?' I teach in Kazakhstan and a times when you ask the students what they want to study, they call courses like translation, designing etc of which in Nigeria, na OYO we de. The first solution is to change our curriculum

For me, I don't quite agree with ur opinion on this. I have been teaching for years and I use different tactics and formation. I know the kind of students I tell things pertaining to me. There are some students that learn through your lifestyles and they tend to pattern their lives according to yours. I teach abroad and the pattern of teaching is quite different from Nigeria. They are not interested in stories coz it will bore them but few of them loves story also. I have raised mentee spiritually, emotionally, Educationally and otherwise just with the stories of my life. Shalom

The level of infidelity in marriages is becoming a norm in every society but I don't think it's mistake of any sort. We are all responsible for our actions whether good or bad. When I decided to b a virgin till date,it wasn't easy coz anytime I tell people when counseling they tend to see it as something weird but I have the fear of God, discipline and my principles has helped me over the years. So I think for us to be responsible, we need God's grace and discipline even the devil can't toy with ur emotions if you have them. Shalom

My brother i tire oo. That is our greatest business oo. Go and preach d gospel. Anything that won't bring God's glory, don't engage in it. The people u r protesting with, many are not Christians and if u think they will make it peaceful, na lie.
AududuNine11:

A Christian who abandoned the great commission or have never ever attempted to fulfill the great commission given by our dear Lord and Saviour, only sees himself being led by the "Spirit" to match the streets protesting... How hilarious...

be led by the spirit. Did the Holy Spirit whisper that u should go and protest? Is that your calling as a Christian? Did u ever ead where the apostles protested despite the ill treatments from the rulers? be guided by the Holy Spirit. Imagine a Christian being shot during a protest what account will he give to God that he was fighting a just battle for souls to be save or what? Have the mind of Christ. Shalom
Openbusiness:
When it comes to scriptures, don't just know the letters, know the spirit in the letter. You're quoting a scripture that references about Jesus yielding himself as a sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world. How does this relate to a Believer not participating in peaceful protests? You still haven't answered. Jesus committed himself to Him that judges righteously = Jesus didn't retaliate when he was attacked by those who condemned him to die, a LEGAL condemnation (even though it was by a conspiracy and frame up) because he faced a trial and was declared guilty by law. How does this relate to peaceful protests? Are you saying the willing sufferings of Jesus at the hands of his oppressors means that we shouldn't protests? Are we the sacrificial lamb that the Bible says was set apart and slain from the foundation of the world for this very purpose to suffer and die for the sins of humanity? Study to show yourself approved. Don't just quote scriptures, you need to understand the Spirit of those letters.

And how exactly do these scriptures relate to Believers not participating in peaceful protests?
Religion / Re: Should A Believer Join Any Protest, Demonstrate, Carry Placards? by HeavenlyHolines(m): 9:57am On Oct 11, 2020
Thank you sir. 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

As a born again matured Christian, Christ is our perfect example. During the days of Christ, there was corruption in the land but he never protested or cause any mayhem because he knew his assignments. As Christians, we have a system we operate and we have an assignment here on earth and we shouldn't follow the systems of the world because by strength shall no man prevail and not by power, not by might but by the spirit of God. If you tell all those protesting to come and pray the way they are forcing us to protest, we de come? The answer is no. We have our own format which is prayer and we will continue to use it. Shalom

The church is a holy place and should be respected with fear and trembling. Don't allow these guys push u to belittle the house of God. Remember what happened to those that yielded to Nebuchadnezzar directives concerning the three Hebrew children. Nigerians ooo, we should always channel our grievances or problems to the right choice. Anytime there is a problem in Nigeria, people always believe the church is a special center that solve every issue. Why can't they go to d mosques or shrines or banks or hotels or airport etc? Is SARS issue the most important now? Where were the celebrities when people were killed in Kaduna? How many celebs gave palliatives to their fans during the lockdown? How many of them have protested against bad government? The problem is the system. Even though government end SARS, another team will come out with another name. The problem is d system and the people controlling the system. Shalom
