Okay thanks. Fingers crossed. TheGuyFromHR: I don't think you've anything to worry about. The caseworkers at UKVI are not petty, they consider applications as a whole and they will understand its a mistake when they see the details of the course you applied for which is actually an RQF7... in your CAS and elsewhere where the course is identified as a masters degree.
I made a couple of similar mistakes myself when filling in the forms (for a family of 5) and these were obviously disregarded. |

Please did this person had any interview? Hoping to mention this during mine, that's if I have any as I submitted last week and did biometrics yesterday. Though I have emailed them and my school. Messyodi: I know someone that had this exact same typo and got her Visa yesterday.... just pray to God |

Good evening y'all, Please if one makes a typo while filling the course details on the visa application form with the ”qualification you will get” column like inputting RQF4/SCQF7 instead of RQF7/SCQF11 and have submitted. Please what can be done? @mimilyric @omopapa @oloshi |

Ok, thanks. TheGuyFromHR: Canada beats the UK by any measure in terms of ease of immigration for students - IT students inclusive. The UK is way ahead of Canada in terms of how relatively easy it is for students to get there in the first place. |
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Hebraeem: 10:36am On Sep 01, 2020 |
Thanks, points taken. Oloshi83: In terms of actually getting admission to a Uni, the UK is by far easier. If you don’t have at least a 2.1, getting on to a masters course in Canada can be tricky.
In terms of the visa application itself, the UK is also generally easier in terms of have the cash in your account or your parent’s account, have an unconditional offer and you’re most of the way there.
The main thing I think Canada has over the UK in terms of the application process is you can use a third party as a sponsor.
Note that, as per your question, I am only talking about academics here and not post study visas or route to citizenship. Canada beats the UK there hands down. |

Good morning guys not to derail the thread but to resolve an argument, between Canada and UK which is more easier to navigate in terms of Msc. for immigration purpose as an IT student? naledis: Then put in the work it takes. Do your research. Don’t just read page 1 and conclude that it’s stressful. Think of a course that would suit you. Go online. Apply to universities. Know the financial requirements for a tier 4 application. Get your account funded and get your documents ready.
You can’t just “want to leave Nigeria”. Put in the work too. Best wishes! |

I didn't get this part please. Can you enlighten me better? LagosismyHome: Maybe you missed the part where it is the date you submit the application online that is used for calculations ..... not the date you use assisted service. Don't mix both dates |

I think you get my point. This is what I thought too mimilyrics: Yes, you can submit your application without uploading your documents because the upload is usually after you've submitted and picked an appointment date but the funds must have matured before the submission even if you're printing after your submission. |
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Hebraeem: 9:15pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
Initially, I thought one can submit his/her visa application without uploading documents then come with a matured POF along with others for biometrics. I get now, thanks. mimilyrics: Your proof of funds must be ready before your application submission, not biometrics appointment. If your funds have not spent 28 days in your account before submission, it will be an issue. If you decide to do either self upload or assisted service after you've submitted your application (which must be after the maturity of your proof of funds), it's not an issue. |

What if one decides to book an appointment with assisted service for a date after the Proof of funds have matured? LagosismyHome: If you fund is not ready then it impossible to book appointment because that submission date is tied to your fund and the 28days calculation and exchange rate
So big NO |

But I believe this person still has to show financial evidence for maintenance fee. Please quoteme if am wrong. duchess90: Hello, If it is a fully sponsored scholarship then I think apart from your documents on your CAS your TB should be next.
Can I advice that you double check your application with your school and confirm that details are all okay before submitting.

Yes, 14th Sept is confirmed LagosismyHome: Do you absolutely have the 14th date confirmed for TB. If yes then the risk is reduced if no then too risky incase you get a later TB
But what happens if there issues with your TB result |

Thank you. I understand the concern, just that my start date is 14th sept and I'm really anxious that's why I want to pick available dates now and use assisted services. Maybe I will pick a more later date. Thanks. naledis: You can take the risk. People have had issues with their tuberculosis screening and didn’t have the certificate issued to them immediately.
I would suggest you have every document you need before proceeding. However you can book an appointment with the hope that nothing goes wrong or delays the issuance of the TB certificate seeing as you’ll be cutting it real close |
