Instead of the student union exponent with stunted development to lay out his agenda as a so-called presidential candidate and campaign against the incumbent APC and its predecessor PDP that he is seeking to displace he is more interested in bitching around and sinking his discolored teeth into Peter Obi's azz. How exactly will restructuring or true federalism 'end' Nigeria's economic stagnation? How? I'm curious.

The clamour for restructuring and true federalism would clearly give greater control to the federating units/regions, and promote a sense of localised power, but that's even unlikely - because the minorities within each region would still cry out about inequalities and marginalisation.

Then of course the most immediate reality that would emanate from true federalism is that the core North would be absolutely penurized because the largesses they have unfairly enjoyed for decades would be eliminated. So of course there would be no near term 'improvement' in the economy of the North. Rather, their economic woes will be x10 of what it is today.

The truth is that true federalism or restructuring is more a cry for justice - justice for the South specifically - than anything else. That's why the North cannot and will never entertain any such talk.

The church I attend at home, the pastor always call my wife regularly when he got close to me and knows the job I do.
Always chatting with me regularly and calling.
In my own little way, I do support the church and get him things once in a while but it seems it is not enough.

One of his PA Abi papa’s boys told me papa has forgotten we the married and working class because we all struggle to finance the church activities and programs.
He doesn’t call me again nor my wife. During my child’s naming, he barely used 20th a to finish the program. It was as if he was forced to come sef.
A year lasted, most of those boys crashed, forex flopped etc. He has nobody to turn to than start doing damage control with us but No, I am long gone.
Didn’t give him the attention he needed. Only do what I can afford the church and that’s all.
One thing I noticed about most of these pastors is that they are very envious and jealous of any member doing better than them. To them, they have to be the best why members follow.
You better not be richer, use better car and house than your pastor else he would be using you as an example of a member that God has blessed but not using it for God.
My pastor and family traveled to Dubai for vacation. Everybody was happy that papa enjoyed Dubai. He came back and started telling stories about how Dubai is beautiful blah blah blah while the members were quiet listening to his stories.
They love that. That attention. Everybody must focus on them and what they say. No any other person or member.
Sent his 2 kids to one of the best secondary schools in Nigeria - I think America school or so that will make it easy to further in US. The kids speak fluent phonetic English.

Early this year he was complaining bitterly about how members are not turning up for a fund raising in the church for a project they wanted to do. Started saying despite the big big cars parked at the car park, we are not contributing enough.
In my mind I was like, must it always be about you and your church? Must it?

We have long been held hostage by the idea that the so-called monolithic 'North' - mainly the North West and North East - holds all the aces in determining the direction of presidential power in Nigeria.

The time to permanently debunk this annoying notion is now. If the South East, South South, Middle Belt (Plateau, Benue Taraba/Nasarawa) can align once and for all, with support from sizable Christian populations in Kaduna, Adamawa, Bauchi, Sokoto, and pockets of the South West, then Peter Obi will be delivered as president WITHOUT the input of the so-called core North... This is given that the core North as it stands will be balkanised between Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu.

It is really that simple.

If the SE/SS/Middle Belt, Christian North, and sprinkles of conscientious South West misses this golden opportunity, then the hegemony of the mythical core North will be perpetuated in a manner that will not be undone in this generation.

But in Nigeria, mid level or even low level administrative staff with minimal special skills - employed in the civil services and organised private sector somehow find themselves millionaires due to embezzlement, sharp practices and corruption in general.

Self-employed people (small business owners and artisans) make more money than the average civil servant or employee in most serious countries. Not to mention those self employed people who manage to grow their ventures into multi million and even billion dollar enterprises.

I've canvassed for this before now. That the minimum qualification for the right to vote should be WAEC or NECO certificate.
