givedemwotowoto: Only a person who knows they’re leaving office in 2027 will do this! Tinubu knows he’s a one term President (OTP) so you’ll see the worst of him within the next 2 years. I pity his people in a post-jagaban-dit Nigeria. It would be glorious. Can't wait. Let them continue gloating now and awalokanizing themselves to stupor. The greater the inebriation, the greater the hangover. |

Only you igbos rate OBJ, that man can't even make his candidate a governor in his state that how much no one rate.
For you to know olu falae, you must born late 70's /80's. Olu Falae was your choice because you all knew he would have been as tribalistic and 'ron-uistic' as Tinubu is today. And you knew that Obasanjo was a nationalist, which you don't like. |

Plotting and strategizing how to rig, what else? Because if you're talking about votes, I don't know anyone other than Yorubas that will vote for him. |

Impactful/important appointments chart, not just 'general' appointment chart, please. Don't be unfortunate. You pack all the main economic, security, and core posts dash yourselves, yet you are forming general numbers chart. Lolz.
You people always always think that you are smart. The suffering/payback you would face after this baba suwe's regime ends disgracefully would be worse than what the isrealites faced in Egypt. Dey play. |
Properties › Re: Eko Atlantic Land Hits N2bn Per Plot – Report by Hedonisco: 10:16pm On Jul 19, 2025 |
stillmaticOG: Is the price of the land really appreciating tho? Back in the early 2000's, you would need around 2.5 million dollars to get 180 million back then because of the low exchange rate around 50 to 60 naira per dollar. Now with the high exchange rate, you just need around 1.3million dollars to get 2 billion naira with the current exchange rate of 1,500 naira per dollar
So is the land really appreciating or is the price just inflation driven That's why I feel disgusted by the clowns who praise their baba suwe aso Rock impostor by claiming that there is now more revenue for states and such to share because of the subsidy removal. So so billion now compared to before. Clumsy dunder heads. Even the minimum wage of N18, 000 a month under Jonathan was far more than their current N70, 000 that they are even struggling to pay - when adjusted for corresponding USD exchange rates. |

OneCandleAway: Difference is buhari can control his followers, obi cannot control them. Difference is, Buhari's followers were 99% uneducated, almajeri zombies. Only Peter Obi has been able to cultivate a 'cult following' made up of enlightened and civilised Nigerians. You do not 'control' enlightened and civilized people because they are sentient beings, not zombies. |

Politics › Re: Reporting An Excess Of 5 Million Naira To Tax Authorities Is Ridiculous by Hedonisco: 7:32pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
WizardOfNG: I agree with the bolded. It is certainly a considerable challenge. I.e corruption of leaders entrusted with the commonwealth of the people.
Yet that does not mean we do not make tax collection as efficient as possible. What needs to improve is the ability of Nigerians to hold leaders accountable from local to State and federal Government level.
Doing that better is crucial since they will all be recieving federal allocation for use administering their tier of Governance. Why put the cart before the horse? Between the chicken and the egg, which came first? I don't like these kinds of irritating viewpoints. Why not expend energy to demand accountability from politicians and enhance the efficiency of the process of choosing political/public office holders BEFORE purporting to increase government revenues via the taxation route? It is unacceptable. The government must be seen to be capable of delivering public good before the public would be compelled to even volitively pay their taxes. In a corrupt and vexatious political system like Nigeria z you're talking about taxing the living daylight out of Nigerians who have to depend on God for their own security, who contend with police extortion and harassment? Bad roads, terrible Healthcare, and on and on? |

Politics › Re: Obidients Consist Of 70% Of Nigerians & Don’t Care About Primary - Morris Monye by Hedonisco: 9:35pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Lanruze: Firstly, Atiku is not as financially buoyant as he was in 2023.
Secondly, Obi doesn't need a dime to contest, he got two (2) private jets for the last elections donated by his followers, if push comes to shove even Atiku will be shocked at the resources which his influence would ganer.
He got tons of money in the last General Elections and had to issue a disclaimer that people shouldn't use his name for fundraising any longer ! Financing election campaigns would never be a problem for Obi. What these fvvkers get twisted is that Obi can never, never, never agree to BRIBE DELEGATES just to win a so-called primary, as is the norm in these 'big' parties. That's the beginning and end of the point. Anybody talking about primary in this context is being mischievous and inane. Head or tail, hook or crook, Obi has to be on the ballot by CONSENSUS, otherwise the so-called coalition would be an exercise in futility. He will NOT participate in any useless primary where they share dollars and make a mockery of the political process. |

yemmit90: They must have done that before agree to come together. The like of Atiku and Obi will never accept the coalition withiout any agreement in sight.
They will eventually arrive at Atiku/Obi ticket. This is the only practical outcome, which I hope all major parties in the coalition have agreed to. But I don't like and don't trust that snake called Amaechi. He is just another version of Kwankwaso who exaggerates his own importance and has unbridled ambition. He is there to try and see if he can get the ticket based on 'completing the South's turn', or at least to be a running mate to somebody. But we'll see. |

DIVINEEVIDENCE: Lol.
Let him keep overrating himself with his kwankwasiya base like say 9ja na Kano. A man that should have been the current VP right now.
If his voter spread in the last elections didn't teach him any lesson, I wonder what else will.
He was a very fine governor but mere local support doesn't win general elections. The nonsense importance some people arrogate to Kwankwaso in Nigeria's NATIONAL politics is so irritating, especially when they compare him to Peter Obi. A mere local champion who has never won elections outside Kano State is who they are comparing to Peter Obi who won 12 States across 4 geopolitical regions and the FCT (according to INEC; he actually won at LEAST 14 states including Rivers and Benue). It is madness. People can be so annoying. Kwankwaso is an arrogant nonentity when we are talking about presidential politics. |
