Some irritating elements with poo in their brains would some come here to blurt out that "someone who was local government chairman for 8 years, Chief of Staff for 4 years, Minister for 4 years, governor for 8 years, and Minister again for 2 years", should even be able to afford more than that. It is so irritating. Oga calculate all his legitimate salaries, allowances, and accouterments throughout his entire inglorious public service years and arrive at the final amount. |
Yankee no be anybody mate. |
adamkkk:That would be a big relief. |
Image123:In other words, the joke is on the masses - and everything is at the masses expense. Inflation due to Naira devaluation and fuel subsidy removal caused a 3-4 fold increase in prices of goods and services while, the salaries of the common man was increased by more or less 100%. Essentially, by some warped wuruwuru 'financial engineering', these political bandits shortchanged the masses by increased the value of naira at their disposal whilst simultaneously 'uselessing' the value of the Naira income of the poor salary earners and ordinary Nigerians.. But for some of you apologists, this is something to celebrate? |
This one no be anybody mate. See as he hang inside $3500 LV jacket. |
Poor SW Nigerians are getting it in full. The bragging rights of 'awa lokan' is more important to them than food in their stomachs. Let nobody try to play revisionism when tomorrow comes. We will NOT forget, or forgive. Let them - rich and poor SW'terners - own this administration with their full chest, warts and all. Because no time for mgbati mgbati when tomorrow comes. |
Brendaniel:Stop casting your pearls before a swine. Stop reciting poetry to a brute. Don't waste time trying to 'reason' with these agbado ethnic champions. It is a spectacular exercise in futility. |
All this talk is irritating and meaningless. You can't eat your cake and have it too. Nobody is dragging Ogun or Osun or Ekiti. There has to be a reason. With the trillions of Naira that have poured into Lagos due to the 'accident' of it being the Nigerian capital for over 60 years, with the attendant unfair advantages that has accrued to it as a result, it would be annoying to keep mouthing this rubbish talk. It is what it is. Tomorrow now, the Ggagyi people or whatever they are called would raise shoulder to start forming ownership of Abuja/FCT and entitlement, and one emergent big belle tribal god will be shalaye-ing that he laid the 'blueprint' that 'developed' Abuja and that other Nigerians in Abuja should go back to their villages. We need to clear some things. |
Shawnnn01:Myopic 'baba wa ni president'. people would not understand the power of time. The Lagos you are dragging, will fulfil its destiny as a 'no man's land' developed by Nigeria and Nigerians, belonging to Nigeria and Nigerians, for as long as Nigeria exists as a country. So don't worry. We will do our worst, however long it takes. |
Mariangeles:Faithfulness, for proper men, is a weakness. Only weak, incapable or simpish men are "faithful" to a wife whose escapades before (or probably even during) marriage would make Mandy Kiss beam with excitement. The kind of men that can be faithful are the kind of men that women ordinarily don't want....unless he is well to do, in which case a woman would happily bottle him and then cheat on him with unfaithful men outside. |
So basically, he is supposed to be imprisoned for four years merely for "transporting grown adults for prostitution"? What manner of idiotic justice is this? |
P1PrinceKT:If workers have a right to join any Union of their choice, private businesses like Dangote also have the right to hire, fire replace and substitute any workers with any employees of their choice. This should be common sense. Stop feeling so entitled with another man's business. |
I foresaw this kind of mess and that's why I strongly objected to any possibility of this Tinubu monster assuming power. Before now, we know that having 'federal connection' was a sufficient counterforce to the madness of these terrorists that have hijacked Alausa. Unfortunately now, Alausa is effectively the same thing as Federal Government. Very tragic. They have the full control to demonstrate and exhibit their tribalistic madness. But time settles everything, and power must change hands in due time... And retribution is a must, however long it takes. |
The 4th Republic has failed woefully. If we had a serious Army with reformist minded characters, the time would have been more than ripe to get rid of all these vagabonds and reset the political system. My heart bleeds due to this feeling of being trapped in a seemingly hopeless situation. The country needs help, urgently. |
IbrahimSalihu:The way illiterate security agents in Nigeria habitually misuse the word "laundered" in Nigeria is giving mental illness. I know this narrative is pushed by some stiupeed security operatives on Wike's payroll. For the records, to 'launder' money means to attempt to transmit ILLEGALLY obtained funds into lawful financial systems. Emphasis here is on illegally acquired funds. So when these fools throws the term money laundering about carelessly, discerning people should always be quick to ask them for evidence (even if anecdotal) to suggest that the origin of the funds is illegal. You cannot be implying money laundering when a self employed businessman with a publishing company like Sowore, who has never obviously held any public office or dealt with public funds, is spending money on his child's school fees. On the contrary, we can imply money laundering when characters like Wike, or the Police IGP, or ANY civil servant or public servant in Nigeria who has spent their entire adult lives in salaried public positions now have millions of dollars in assets. This is common sense. |
I'm sure she has a 'poor' 70 year uncle in her family whose greeting she wouldn't even dignify with an answer. But of course as she has seen a very big man, a whole former Vice President, she will certainly form respectful. Why should anyone be impressed by such yeye eye service conditional 'respect'? Nonsense. |
The characters supporting this nonsensical tax reform don't know how provocative it is. |
The brute cow and his acolytes would retort, "ehen, and so what, blah blah blah". |
Well, he has an ominous '10 year plan'. His obnoxious amalla inner circle people keep bragging about that. I'm not sure what the specifics are, but it looks like after forcing his way into 're-erection' in '027, he will then arm twist the National Assembly and 2/3rds of the state assemblies to implement a constitutional amendment that puts in place a single term of six years for presidents and governors. He will then use legal gymnastics to add 2 years to his existing 4 year term 2nd term. That is ostensibly the plan, but the inherent folly will burst in his face and he will meet an abrupt and disgraceful end. |
Basic123:Parastatals that are more important than holding the presidency for 8 years (Obj) and Vice Presidency for another eight years (Osibanjo)? Yoruba and their kobo kobo serpentine sense. Shebi yall have lumps of amala in your mouth that is shacking you? You don't know what's coming. Just wait. |
Miss those days of simple, unpretentious beer parlours. Not a fan of these rooftop bars with faux sophistication. |
Taxes that Wike would use to buy Rolls Royce, and that his children will use to buy million dollar homes in America? Or taxes that Shayee Tulumboo will use to buy Hermes bags and million dollar jewelry for his hybrid wife and side chicks? These nincompoops need to understand that Nigerians are not impressed by mouthing how the government earned xyz revenue. Nigeria's main problem is not a revenue problem. It is an accountability and resource prudence problem. They should go to hell with this new tax noise which is destined to fail spectacularly. You can't put the cart before the horse. |
