UNDERSTAND THE MESSAGE NOT JUST THE MESSENGER
Terrorism can come in any form. Be it killing with sophisticated weapons, or inflicting minor pains on those that can't defend theirself, it is still terrorism. Lately, the country called Nigeria has been facing this act and it keeps growing from strength to strength.
I have come to realize that it is better to deal with the message rather that the messenger. In my little knowledge about terrorism and counter terrorism, I observed that terrorist group can go to any length, using any technique in other to subdue their opponents.
The name Boko Haram ring a bell as far as the country Nigeria is concern. They are one of the most dangerous group as far as terrorism is concern. Their activities range from kidnapping to bombing and any evil one can think of. The Nigeria military are keeping up to the challenge of wiping out this deadly sect. And lately, they have intensify effort and it won't be out of place to say they are winning as they keep unraveling this sect hide out and killing scores of them in the process. But like the title of this write up (Understanding the message, not just the messenger) and with my little knowledge on terrorism and counter terrorism, I deem it fit (though subjective theory) to say the new issue at hand, that is, the FULANI HERDS MEN might just be a strategy by this deadly sect called Boko Haram to destabilize our military and take attention off them for sometime in order to enable them regroup since it seems they are loosing the battle against Nigeria military.
Remember, in the art of war, if you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the approaching battle. But if you know only yourself and not your enemy, for every victory, there will be a defeat.

Heard about this story growing up, thought about it and only came out with this summation.
