We have reliably been informed that controversial rapper, William Orioha, popularly known as 2Shotz, will marry his lover and girlfriend, Precious Jones, in Lagos this Friday.

According to information making rounds, 2Shotz, who was sometimes ago alleged to have duped some university boys by not performing at their show after allegedly collecting money from them, will choose to do a secret wedding.


As we were told, the wedding will be held in a Lagos registry. A wedding introduction was reportedly held in Imo State yesterday.

When contacted to confirm this story, his manager declined to confirm or deny the story.

Two men have tied the knot in what's been proclaimed Africa's first traditional gay wedding.

Tshepo Cameron Modisane and Thoba Calvin Sithol were reportedly married in the town of KwaDukuza in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa before some 200 guests, in a ceremony that united Zulu and Tswana traditions. The newlyweds, both 27, will also have a second, more intimate ceremony in Johannesburg later this year, according to reports.

"The great step that we took in our relationship as a gay couple was introducing each other to our families," Tshepo told Mamba Online in February. "We are so blessed to have supportive families who care about us. Even though we are gay they still love us."

The men say they also hope to have children through a surrogate.

“Family is important to us and that is the number one reason why we want to have children," Thoba said. "We also want our children to grow up in an environment where they are loved greatly by both parents who appreciate them."

A man identified as Onyekachi Ekwelum has been arrested for allegedly selling his 6-month-old son to raise the money needed to process his Greece Visa.

According to the mother of the innocent baby boy, 20-yr-old Ozioma, she reported the matter to the police after her baby boy went missing.

She further revealed that her husband had longed to travel to Greece all his life.

According to Abia State Police Commissioner, Usman Abubakar, following the report by the missing baby’s mother, Police launched an investigation that led to thearrest of suspects who participated in selling the baby.

The Commissioner who expresses concern over spate of child trafficking said that on March 4 this year Mr Chidiebere Samuel of Ovungwu in IsialaNgwa south Local government area that his wife Odinaka Samuel conived with a nurse Monica Benjamin who delivered her baby girl and sold the child at N150, 000.

Describing such acts as inhuman, he said the suspects in the criminal transaction have been apprehended and charged to an Umuahia Magistrate court.

Nigerian singer Onoyom Mbuk popularly called Iyanya has lost his parents.

In this recent interview, Iyanya said his parents died in 2008.

The eccentric singer also narrates how he recently lost his brother who battled an accident related illness.

“Both of my parents have died. May God receive their souls. They gave me 100% love while growing up. Before I became a Project Fame star, they died in 2008.

Mr Obafaiye Shem , the former Commandant of Lagos state chapter of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps , NSCDC has been secretly sacked .
He has been replaced with Adesuyi Clement Dayo as the new commandantof the NSCDC.

As we can recall, Obafaiye Shem started the Oga at the top saga that went viral all over the net few weeks ago.

As at the time of this report, T-shirts and movies have been produced to further ignite the oga at the top controversy.

During an interview over the weekend, Dr Olu Abolurin, the General Commandant of NSCDC introduced the new commandant for NSCDC to newsmen.

According to him, Obafaiye Shem has been removed as the current commandant of Lagos chapter of NSCDC. He was replaced by Mr AdesuyiClement from Oyo State command.

Full details of My Oga at the top’s sack was not revealed but sources revealed that Clement Adesuyi became the new Commandant last week Tuesday.
The Oga at the top saga started during an interview the former NSCDC commandant granted on Channels TV morning program.

He messed up as he couldn’t recall the website of his organization.

When asked about NSCDC official website,he said; “Hmmm, the website is, excuse me, it can only be made known by my Oga at the top ”. He again, cleared his throat and said, “I cannot categorically tell you one now,as my Oga at the top is working on the website and I don’t have them”.

A "gate to hell" has emerged from ruins in southwestern Turkey, Italian archaeologists have announced.

A digital illustration shows the ancient Plutonium, celebrated as the portal to the underworld in Greco-Roman mythology Known as Pluto's Gate – Ploutonion in Greek, Plutonium in Latin – the cave was celebrated as the portal to the underworld in Greco-Roma mythology and tradition.

Historic sources located the site in the ancient Phrygian city of Hierapolis, now called Pamukkale, and described the opening as filled with lethal mephitic vapors.

"This space is full of a vapor so misty and dense that one can scarcely see the ground. Any animal that passes inside meets instant death," the Greek geographer Strabo (64/63 BC – about 24 AD) wrote. "

their last and fell," he added. Announced this month at a conference on Italian archaeology in Istanbul, Turkey, the finding was made by a team led by Francesco D'Andria, professor of classic archaeology at the University of Salento.

D'Andria has conducted extensive archaeological research at the World Heritage Site of Hierapolis. Two years ago he claimed to discover there the tomb of Saint Philip, one of the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ. Founded around 190 B.C. by Eumenes II, King of Pergamum (197 B.C.-159 B.C.), Hierapolis was given over to Rome in 133 B.C.

"We found the Plutonium by reconstructing the route of a thermal spring. Indeed, Pamukkale' springs, which produce the famous white travertine terraces originate from this cave," D'Andria told Discovery News.

Featuring a vast array of abandoned broken ruins, possibly the result of earthquakes, the site revealed more ruins once it was excavated. The archaeologists found Ionic semi columns and, on top of them, an inscription with a dedication to the deities of the underworld – Pluto and Kore.

D'Andria also found the remains of a temple, a pool and a series of steps placed above the cave – all matching the descriptions of the site in ancient sources.

"People could watch the sacred rites from these steps, but they could not get to the area near the opening. Only the priests could stand in front of the portal," D'Andria said.

According to the archaeologist, there was a sort of touristic organization at the site. Small birds were given to pilgrims to test the deadly effects of the cave, while hallucinated priests sacrificed bulls to Pluto.

The ceremony included leading the animals into the cave, and dragging them out dead.

"We could see the cave's lethal properties during the excavation. Several birds died as they tried to get close to the warm opening, instantly killed by the carbon dioxide fumes," D'Andria said.

Only the eunuchs of Cybele, an ancient fertility goddess, were able to enter the hell gate without any apparent damage.
"They hold their breath as much as they can," Strabo wrote, adding that their immunity could have been due to their "menomation," "divine providence" or "certain physical powers that are antidotes against the vapor."

According to D'Andria, the site was a famous destination for rites of incubation. Pilgrims took the waters in the pool near the temple, slept not too far from the cave and received visions and prophecies, in a sort of oracle of Delphi effect. Indeed, the fumes coming from the depths of Hierapoli's phreatic groundwater produced hallucinations.

"This is an exceptional discovery as it confirms and clarifies the information we have from the ancient literary and historic sources," Alister Filippini, a researcher in Roman history at the Universities of Palermo, Italy, and Cologne, Germany, told Discovery News.

Fully functional until the 4th century AD, and occasionally visited during the following two centuries, the site represented 

"an important pilgrimage destination for the last pagan intellectuals of the Late Antiquity," Filippini said.

During the 6th century AD, the Plutonium was obliterated by the Christians. Earthquakes may have then completed the destruction.

D'Andria and his team are now working on the digital reconstruction of the site.

A woman in Arizona identified as Victoria Soliz has been charged after sheallegedly tried to drown her own son .

The mother of a 3-year-old boy has been battling drug problem for a while before this incident.

According to ABC 15 report, a neighbour of 30-year-old Victoria Soliz told police that he heard screams around 12:30 p.m.

The neighbour said he rushed outside and saw Victoria Soliz in his front yard, pushing her son’s face into a puddle. When she allegedly wouldn’t stop, he called police.

Police officers arrived at the crime scene and Soliz
and her son were rushed to the hospital. The boy didn’t suffer any injuries.

Victoria Soliz later confessed she’d been using Crystal meth drug as a medication for Schizophrenia.

The alleged drug addict claims Jesus told her to drown her son.

This is very strange! How can Jesus tell her to drown her son….

Nigerian female rapper Adesola Adesimbo Idowu popularly called Weird MC is thanking God to be alive today after she recently escaped death from an angry military officer who threatened to kill her .

According to her, she spotted the military officer driving with his family on Lagos Ibadan Expressway and cautioned him to watch out because of his safety and that of his family.

And to her surprise, the military officer stopped, brought out a knife and threatened to kill her .

Weird MC said she had no option but to escape for her life.

“ People can be very irate. I had to run for my life.” – Weird MC said

“The officer, he said, brought out a knife and threatened to kill her. She had to leave him and drive off .” – said an aide to Weird MC

Taiwo Lawal, a 1-year-old baby boy who was shot on the head by some armed robbers in Lagos on the 9th of September 2012 has died .

According to Punch Metro , Taiwo Lawal was brutally shot on the head at his family house in Gbagada area of Lagos on Black Sunday, the day that many Lagosians experienced series of simultaneous armed robbery attack that led to the death of a police officer.
MTN Nigeria, donated N500,000 for the baby’s treatment at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba .

The story also drew public interest as concerned members of the public also donated undisclosed sums of money.

Sadly, Taiwo gave up the ghost on March 7, 2013 at Ward E of the hospital. The deceased’s distraught father, Wasiu, said the death was more painful because of the amount of money the family had spent.

He said, “We spent all that we had but unfortunately my son did not survive.

After MTN donated N500,000 and few concerned members of thepublic gave us money, more expenses kept coming up. The money was not enough as we had to keep spending on drugs and other things. “After the MTN donation, Taiwo was operated on and he showed signs of improvement at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

A couple of weeks later, after the bullet had been extracted, he was transferred to the main ward but in late December, his health started to deteriorate, he lost weight and we had to take turns to watch over him.” Wasiu said although doctors at the hospital initially assured him that Taiwo’s brain was not affected by the bullet, he was later told that the bullet had affected the baby’s brain.

Wasiu alleged that after sometime, the nurses at the hospital were no longer as caring as before and even advised him to take the baby home.

He said, “Initially we were told that Taiwo would require another surgery but later we were told that he was too young to have another surgery and that he should have the surgery in a few years’ time.

The hospital wanted to discharge him but I objected to it because he obviously was not alright. “In late January, his health deteriorated and he could not breathe on his own and was placed on Oxygen. At that point, thedoctor advised that we flew him abroad for treatment as it was now beyondtheir capability.

However, last week he showed signs of improvement and was even eating.“We were already happy but unfortunately on Thursday afternoon, Taiwo passed on, leaving behind his twin, Kehinde and two other siblings.” ( Punch Metro ).

So sad may his soul rest in perfect peace

In the upcoming TLC’s My Crazy Obsession show, Chantal has 19 rats.
She currently lives alone with the 19 rats in her 2-bedroom house.

Her rat obsession started when she was 16. Her love for rodents has become an obsession.

She allows them to lick her lips and run across her on the bed.

Chantal and her husband have a son together. Kevin who said ‘I grew up with siblings and they were rats.’

Due to her crazy rat obsession , her marriage has collapsed and she has moved out of her matrimonial home to live alone with her rats.
