dee1504: Thank you for this insight and guidance. Middlesex is in London. My fear applying to schools in London despite their opportunities is the financial requirements for visa as a couple. Please, I still need more discussion with you Sir. I have sent a private message as you gave me the permission. Thanks |

Hello Elders, I will like to make enquiry, I couldn't make deposit at the right time for my January admission in Anglia Ruskin University. I got admitted for MSc Human Physiology at Manchester Metropolitan University for Sept 2023. I plan to go with my spouse. I am seeking to know my chances in securing jobs with sponsorship to remain in the UK either with the career path in Physiology or other jobs for us(my wife and I) in Manchester. Thanks @dduchess90 @gloriyahh @ everyone 1 Like |

Kindly help me in this case. University of Northampton contacted me to provide IELTS 7.0 with minimum of 6.5 in each section or equivalent. I was given 5 working days to provide this. However, I do not have IELTS result and it won't be visible to book for IELTS exam and get result within 5 days. So, I sent them a mail that I have NECO result C6 (since they accept WAEC) and also, I drew their attention to my transcript that it is stated in my transcript that the university taught the student in English language. I uploaded both my NECO and transcript to them once again for verification. Please do I stand a chance to be considered. Course- MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) I have been receiving rejection letter on these pre-registration courses these days. Just hoping Uni of Northampton will consider me |

I feel to express my anxiety here. I have applied for Pre-registration courses for about 6 weeks now to different schools. I am yet to receive any decision from not even one of them. Seeing people here have started paying for deposit, booking for TB, applying for CAS and start counting their POF is making feel hope I am not loosing out on time. I only have offer for MPH at hand which I don't intend to go for. Please, is there still hope that the following schools will still give admission for January; Coventry Teesside GCU Leedsbeckett AECC Thanks for your reality response dduchess90 giselle237 Gloriyah Others 1 Like |

Rachy001: BSc Biomedical Science? You are fine and I believe no problem. MSc Biomedical Science? I feel 50% chance of good work that gives Work visa. I think there are jobs but not that up to biomedical scientist registered under HCPC. Being registered under HCPC gives the platform you need to get everything you want in staying back(Work Visa) easily Personally, I will not want to struggle to get there (UK) and still struggle to be integrated to the system. So personally, I feel it's better to go for the course that gives a rest of mind. This is just my myopic view 3 Likes |

Olamikel: You have spoken my mind. Let me contribute in the little way I can. MSc Biomedical science in UK Universities is not recognized to register as a professional member of HCPC except only in one university I think in Manchester Metropolitan Uni and of course, it is loaded with lots of applications and registration closes on time. Only BSc Biomedical science is quite recognized in every universities by HCPC. I applied for MSc Biomedical science in several universities before I got this. I got an offer for Biomedical science in University of Salford for Jan intake but had to let it go. Why? Because of life after school in the UK is not certain with the course. Being able to register with HCPC after school is the ultimate goal. There are highly demanded HCPC courses such as Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Chiropodist, podiatry, mental health nursing, adult nursing etc that are offered as Masters Pre-registration (2years) with annual 5k NHS support. On completion of anyone of these, you are so very good to go with registration with HCPC and getting job in a company that can sponsor your work visa as quick as possible. Also, being able to work at the average of band 5 or 6 salary grade (around 24k to 36k p.a) I presently have another offer in Masters in Global Public Health in Anglia Ruskin Uni but I seriously pray eachday that I get offer in some of these HCPC demanded courses that I have applied for. So, there are numerous schools that I think are good to apply to but kindly check on HCPC website if the course you want to apply for is approved by them in that school. Keep Fighting! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello everyone, I had to repost because of the rate of comment here. Please I need your guidance. I have truly gone what I can go through especially the guidelines on the page thoroughly. I have been able to secure admission as I have earlier posted. I am trying to make the actual basic financial calculations as the main work process begins now from school fees deposit to general POF. Here are my questions, please help a brother: 1. Can I solely use my Uncle's bank statement who is living in the UK as POF for both the school requirement before issuing CAS and in the Visa office here in Nigeria for the MA and 2 dependants. How do I proof we are family with my Uncle. What documents do we need if possible? 2. In calculating POF for the dependants (wife and 2 years old daughter) for outside London, is the calculation below correct £680 x 9 months x 2 = £12,240 My concern is will I still use the same calculation for the mother also for the 2 year old child? 3. In applying for Visa, will the calculation for the visa fee for the MA and the 2 dependants be £490 x 3 = £1,470 Thank you. giselle237 Lagosismyhome dduchess09 1 Like |

HenryG: Please I seek for your input. Please, I will like to make decision to avoid delay. So, I will like to add to it: Hello everyone, Yesterday, I got a conditional admission to University of Salford, Manchester for MSc. Biomedical Science January intake. I was given a scholarship reduction in school fees of £3000. My school fees now drops to £12,300. Conditional payment of £5500 before being issued with CAS. Please how do you see this admission? I seek for insight about the course, the cost of living in Manchester, possible accomodation challenge and other peculiar thing. Or would you advice me to wait for other admission in other schools and other courses in health. A family of 3 plans to go together Thank you all in anticipation. |

Hello @ everyone. Please help me clarify these 2 things. 1. I have been applying to schools that require no IELTS but I want to know if the IELTS will be needed for visa application. 2. I have been seeing Biomedical science as the course I am most qualified for in my MSc application, I hope the course is a good one to secure NHS job after school. Thanks in advance everyone. |
