And what is so special about the African culture that it cannot be changed? cultures are meant to evolve my dear, at least part of it.
it beats you why people form western? then I hope you still tie your money at the edge of your wrapper... that way it is much easier to withdraw your money anytime instead of using the ATM.
you could have also sent a local messenger to use a metal gong to send this message to seun to send to the mods before we can read this message instead of typing with your device. we are Africans aren't we?
There are cultures that cannot be changed, I repeat I have never seen where just talking to a child who doesn't even understand a thing works. It only works after disciplining the child, you explain why he/she needed to be spanked.

Discipline is the watchword....yes I will buy a special cane for his/her teacher to deal with them. It beats me the way people reason, african culture has always been that way and you form western ways for me if I marry you and say teachers shouldn't beat my kids.
Family › Re: Is It Wise For A Woman To Give Her Husband Part Of Her Monthly Salary? by henryhemon(m): 9:09am On Oct 27, 2015
Little kids come here and give advises,if you are grown up you will won't come here and ask that silly question, what is the difference a husband and a wife? What's special about a woman giving her husband part of her salary? Same it is easier for the man to give should be same way it is easier for the woman to give,it is called a helper not a sucker. My boss earns high figures half a million a month and is a lady and she gives it to her husband and she is proud of it and heaven hasn't fall and she is down to earth, respects even young men like us,there are kids in nairaland that thinks they are matured. A matured couple can't even bring such topic up for discussion.

Why the trouble in the ruling all progressive congress, will apc be better than the people’s Democratic Party. In 1999 when Nigerian came under democracy the ruling party then pdp, was very much united and the party body as the final say unlike what we are now seeing in the all progress congress. The whole senate president is n mess with his party chieftain and the presidency continue to play I don’t care attitude.
We all know what tore the people democratic party, it was internal crises, in fact most Nigerians know that pdp was the problem of pdp and pdp destroy itself,. If without the contribution of key pdp figures like Rotimi Ameachi, former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Rabilu Musa Kwankwaso, the then new pdp senators and members of the lower chamber, the contribution of the g7 governors as well continue reading
In as much as I agree with you,i really think its better if they continue fighting so that we won't have another pdp to demonize this country.

Elrufai: (cuts in) My friend, do what I asked you...remember you are a mere commissioner and you don't question my authority, else I will send you back to bourdillion

VP: (prostrates)....yeeeeh....e ma binu Sir, Epele Sir, otojo meta Sir, erora Sir...eshe kopo Sir,..yes Sir....thank you Sir.

Romance › Re: Why Do Some/most Nigerian Girls Fall Easily For Guys With Cars? by henryhemon(m): 8:44am On Oct 16, 2015
dearpreye:
My brother, it's indeed a shameful trend. I think a lot of factors are responsible for this behaviour. So lemme give them some slack. LOL!

Somehow it's a societal issue. We have a society that has come to idolise ostentation of affluence- especially things like cars. We're a pretty poor nation, looking from the GDP angle; hence anyone with a car can be quickly adjudged as being wealthy. I doubt I can do sufficient justice to this issue at hand. Poverty is high in Nigeria. The average woman doesn't want to be too close to someone who appears to be struggling financially. SMH! Some in laws treat guys with cars better. I believe the ladies are naturally responding to OUR society's expectations and values.

Background. I think this also has a lot to do with this issue. I had a very close female friend back at the higher Institution days. She's one of the most serene, mature, focused and responsible ladies I've met. Even when I showed up with my ride after I got a job, she didn't come any inch closer; she simply remained herself. Even when others within that our cycle of friends were visibly excited for me, she still remained herself. My woman and her siblings also fall in this category of proper family values and discipline. They're hardly moved by any material show from men. So, to a large extent, family values and upbringing are also responsible.

The lady's Personal Values. There are still thousands of ladies with some sense of discipline, though a lot more are on the opposite side. A lot of them don't even know who they are, their values, their limits of tolerance, their beliefs; almost anything goes. The issue is rather complex.

All in all, women are so wired uniquely with such complexities that us men can't fully grasp them. Even them are sometimes confused as to their true identities. LOL!
You killed it! Just the perfect answer.

And how well has pdp developed it? This isn't about a party man. This is about a man who did wrong,it shouldn't be about ethnicity nor party, what is morally wrong is wrong all over the world. I don't know when people will have a mind devoid of silly sentiments.

alams was horded to death by the uk and nigerian govt. Fact
you are not in bayelsa state and you would never understand the bitterness, people of the ijaw nation have for buhari now.
Yesterday was the first morn day for alamco and the general feeling is this: he was killed by the fg whether you take it or not
yesterday would have been a bloodbath for forces stationed in bayelsa if not for the intervention of some ''people''
but that does not make alamco a saint, he did stole but he massively developed his state during his tenure as gov.
What about joshua dariya of plateau what happen to his case with efcc? Under the carpet i guess
Ijaws can hate baba as much they want,we don't fucking care, ijaws doesn't suddenly equal the whole of Nigeria, alams is a thief and I have no sympathy for him or his family or for the whole of ijaw. I spit on his grave. Hell awaits him. Your ijaw brothers can hate on me too. He deserved to die over and over again.
