The Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, was left deflated and completely disgraced today at the Palace of the Oba of Benin after his convoy was blocked by angry residents, numbering in hundreds, who booed and disparaged the Governor as a thief.
Governor Obaseki was reportedly at the Palace for royal blessings as he flagged off his campaign as the candidate of the PDP in the Governorship election.
Upon sighting his convoy from a small distance, the people, hitherto rejoicing and making merry as is usual at the ancient Palace, immediately formed an angry mob of protesters and confronted the embattled Governor with chants of “thief” and other disgraceful epithets, demanding that he leaves the Palace and not “pollute the environment with his dishonorable self.”
Obaseki and his accompanying aides were left perplexed and all attempts to salvage the situation only further angered the crowd who insisted that he leaves, stating that he has been rejected and is no longer their Governor.
Such rejection at the Palace holds great significance in the Benin Kingdom and Edo State as a whole.
It is perhaps the greatest indication that the Governor, presently struggling to get his new party, the PDP, in shape, will lose the Sept. 19 election.
A palace source who pleaded anonymity said “what took place today is a bad omen for Governor Obaseki and his PDP. He selfishly came for blessings at a place he has not really sowed any good seeds and he received boos and disgrace. It is a clear sign of rejection and what is to come.”

As far as I know, Nonprofits work with volunteers. They may not necessarily be recruiting volunteers at the moment but they do. There is a huge link between Volunteerism and nonprofits.
3. Do you know the difference between Internship and volunteering? Ans: Internship is basically for you as a person to develop your skill set and advance in your career. It is usually a formal setting with a stipulated time frame more often than not paid. Volunteering on the other hand is working for others while developing personal skills, now some people volunteer just because they want to help out and not even to harness skills. Volunteering is a non-paid service most times. It can be in a formal and informal setting
4. Do you know only U.N agencies allows volunteering? Ans: Please these is false. It is not only UN agencies that accept volunteers. Nonprofits accept volunteers, some organizations then to call for volunteers for events and so on. Friends took to Facebook to share photos of her burns after the incident as they prayed for her to survive. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse and she died. That's not how she died. She forgot turning off the gas before she retired to bed and in the morning when she woke up, she discovered this n turned it off without waiting for a longer time for the gas to dissolve completely and she turned it on n it exploded.

It said,there those on ground were injured (there are people living and working in damask)not anyone on the aircraft apparently that aircraft came to drop off staffs to damask or pick staffs to maiduguri,that's normal. So they 2 cases are different.
As the time the aircraft was hit by bullets, no one was onboard aside the pilot thankfully he made a detour back to maiduguri.
XXLMANDIGO: UN humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria Edward Kallon said both the fatalities and several others who were injured in the attack were on the ground.
“A UN Humanitarian Air Service helicopter was hit by bullets during the attack. No aid workers were on board at the time and crew members are all safe,” Kallon said in a statement.
A UN communication seen by AFP said the aircraft was shot as it approached Damasak and the pilots managed to fly back to regional capital Maiduguri 150 kilometres (90 miles) away.
