Good Morning Gurus in the house.
The brake of my 2005 Toyota Highlander keeps bouncing back when I press it. The brake also gets hard towards when going down making it had for the vehicle to stop at the right time.
I spoke to a brake man and he said the ABS has a problem and needs to be bypassed manually for me to enjoy the brake.
Please is this true? |

Hmmmmm! I think I will have to follow the agent's advice. Thank you so much for your input. OAOA: What the agent said is true. Notwithstanding, if you can write a convincing GTE, you might be able to scale that hurdle |

Oh! Okay Thank you so much for your input and encouragement. Sylvyangel: Please if you can go with your agent's advice. It's easier that way. You wouldn't want to invest so much and get a denial. Let one person go first, then others can join you later. From other people's experience on this thread, it's not too difficult for other family members to join if you get everything correctly. |

Wow! Thank you for your input sir. Did you just decide to wait this long or your visa was not processed in time. Waiting as long as you is something I don't wish for. Our daughter is just 4 months old. It means she will be 1 year and 3 months when her mother leaves (targeting Feb 2024). I hope the sacrifice is going to worth it? Usefulsense: This is exactly what my family did. Wify left 23/12/2021 for AU.
Though, I am still in Nigeria with my 2 lovely children aged 11 and 8; our visa grant came out positive in last month. I have already booked flight for December 2, 2023. I want to get some things sorted out before departure. |

Hi gurus,
I have a family and will like to migrate to Australia via a student visa. I contacted an agent and she told me that my wife will apply as married but go alone. Then I will go and meet her later maybe after 6 months.
However, I wish our daughter and I go together with my wife. Is this not possible with a student Visa?
The agent said trying to go together will make approving our Visa difficult. She said if she gives the impression of going alone and coming back to reunite with her family after studying, she has a higher chance of getting our Visa approved.
My target is next year February (so as to prepare financially and have enough time to get the necessary documents)
Please, I need advice. |

I can't believe I am just seeing this. Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate boss. I have sorted it and everything is fine. God bless you. topsy23: I have 2 questions to ask you based on your comment above .
1- Did you check the voltage reading on any of your small stabilizer/voltage regulator you have at home the value of supply voltage ? 2- At peak period i.e between the hour of 5pm and 9pm you need to check the value of voltage to be sure of peak period voltage.
If you plan to get the central stabilizer, we must know the total load in your house e.g. -Number of AC -Number of water heater Number of lighting point -Number of socket .etc
All these are required to get the rating of stabilizer required.
You can not just jump into 5000W for a central stabilizer when your building is a duplex or tye total load is 10,000W REMEMBER it won't work.
Also, we need to know if your connection to your building is 3-phase connection or single phase connection . It won't be advisable to install single phase stabilizer if you have 3-phase equipment in your house ... It will not work.
Your choice of stabilizer voltage range will depend on the minimum value of voltage in your area. Some stabilizer voltage range is low as 90V - 230V while some are 100V - 230V, 110V-230V Etc |

Hi, Gurus in the house,
If you are to choose between a 2008 Lexus RX350 and a 2012, 13, or 14 Toyota Camry, which would you advise me to go for?
I realized they are now within the same price range.
Please, I need advice on which to choose oo. |

Thank you for your input. The current is not below 100 Volt. Okay, I will lend a stabiler around to teat run it. baaliyah: How low is the current? If it's too low, below 100 volt, 5 or 10Kva stabilizer won't step up the current. If you could get someone to lend you a stabilizer to testrun your home, If it works fine, then get yous |

Good morning guys,
I need suggestions and advice on increasing the electric power in my house.
The current in my area don't even power my inverter ac conveniently.
So, some one suggested that I can buy a 5000w stabilizer to stabilize and increase the current output in my home.
Another person said there is a central stabilizer called prag or A&E that can increase the electric current power in my house.
Please, I need help ooooh

Thank you boss TrebleChamp: The bolded is definitely a fake Gen, that amount would at most get you a 2.5kva Generator. Elepaq are well know for their fake rating, you might see 6.5kva on their Gen but actual rating could be 2.5kva. Also avoid those mini Generator shops unless you are going with a trusted technician, they sell more of fake too. Just try adjust your budget and get a reliable brand, good luck once again... |
Technology Market › Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by henrymor: 2:39pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
yes o Buhari effect. Well, thanks for your advice again. They called the Elepaq constant 9 kva 375k. I think I will try to up my game, add more money, and go for a reliable one boss. This is what I got from a vendor. Elepaq - 6.5 KVA, = #189,000 7.5 KVA, = #315,000 9 KVA = #375,000 Sumeic Fireman - 6.5 KVA, = #390,000 7.5 KVA, =#410,000 9 KVA = #425,000 TrebleChamp: The Buhari effect . But on a sincere note, you won't get durable Original 7 to 9kva Gen for your current budget. Elepaq Gen are ok, but its probably Fake if you are offered 7 to 9kva Elepaq for ₦300k. I may be wrong sha, just go with a trusted technician if you decide to buy the brand. As for your estimated load, i think a 4.5kva Gen should be able to power them if you run the appliances intermittently. But get a 6kva or above Gen to be on the safe side, the fall of Naira is reason for the massive price increase..... |

Boss, I made my findings and I realized that thermocool and Sumec Firemen gens are way above my budget. I need something around 7KVA to 9KVA and I am getting 400k plus for the brands you suggested. However, someone suggested Elepaq constant 100% copper. What do you think? My budget is around 250 to 300k and I want to get a reliable gen that can at least carry my borehole pumping machine (1.5 hp), 3 inverter ac (1.5 hp each) and microwave. Please what do you think? TrebleChamp: You are welcome chief... |
Technology Market › Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by henrymor: 10:16am On Oct 08, 2022 |
Oh!! Thank you so much for your advice. I appreciate sir! TrebleChamp: Get a Thermocool Gen or get Original Sumec Fireman. Look around your neighbourhood or use Google to search for any Thermocool Authorised Store close to you to check current prices. Also Google how and where to get Original Sumec Fireman Gen. If you choose Thermocool, just locate their Authorised Store and buy with ease and peace of mind. If you choose Sumec Fireman, go with an expert to help determine if the Gen is Original or Fake. Don't buy Gen online, good luck... |

Hi Fam
Is Macnugar Paints good? Especially, their ultrafine Matt emulsion.
If yes, please how much is it?
I also need suggestions for the best paint to use for a screeded exterior wall. |
Properties › Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by henrymor: 6:05pm On Sep 15, 2022 |
gbadexy: Satin is best suited for internal. If you want the high sheen of satin, you may use silk with same sheen but higher solid content. Matte is better and more ideal for external than satin although it has much lower sheen. Okay, thank you. But if I use the matte for the exterior. Can I use emulsion for the fence and it will still make sense. I learnt that silk is expensive. |

Good afternoon fam,
Thanks for always helping out.
I want to paint my house's exterior and fence but I am confused.
The painter suggested satin for the exterior but emulsion for the fence.
But my friend's wife who works in a paint company in Lagos suggested that I should use ultra-fine matte emulsion for both.
Note: I screeded the exterior but didn't screed the fence.
1. Please, what's the difference between satin and ultrafine matte emulsion?
2. Which one do you think I should go for?
3. I want suggestions on how to achieve the best without spending much.
Thank you. |

My friend tried to stop me from buying it then but I though he never wanted my house to be sophisticated like his own. Now I am realizing a lot of things. MrOkenwa: We have it in the kitchen. I never knew I can make a deposit sir. Thank you for letting me know sir. MrOkenwa: If it's for your residence, go for electric fence wire system. Price for a plot: barbed wire will cost you 160k or slightly more. Electric fence wires will cost you between 300k - 350k. It depends on your bargaining power. I'm not an expert. I just blv that the barb wires won't offer much deterrence and don't really look beautiful on the fence as the electric fence wires. I made a deposit for electric fence last week. To be fixed when the masons are done with the plastering of the fence later in the month. |
