There is one big difference between nairaland and your infant forum. Nairaland is filled with intellectuals; doctors, engineers, businessmen,teachers, lawyers, journalists,writers etc. These people have no time to be bragging about nairaland reputation when they have seminars to present, clients to defend, patients to treat, etc. As someone said, it would make it childish and 2go-like. Once upon a time, people have gone as far as blogging on how to hack and boost "ordinary" 2go stars. When such features are introduced in a forum like nairaland, quality of posts will reduce cause people ( children) in the bid to make more posts to gain higher reputation , will turn this forum into a gabbage.
