Reference: See what I mean. They just can't find their role as seperate from that of government. Your type should not be on this thread. Are those Camerounians satisfied with their government led by Paul Biya. Probably not but they still play their role to support their institutions above ALL INDIVIDUALS. This is the key to nationhood.
It wasn't Kennedy's army when they were trashed in the Bay of Pigs. It wasn't Carter's Army that failed the hostages in Iran. It wasn't Bush's Army's misadventure in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was the United States Army. Yes the C in C's took responsibility for the results but the people of America continue to respect their men and women in uniform and NEVER, NEVER play politics WHEN THEY ARE ENGAGED IN WARS no matter who sent them, for what reasons and no matter the successes or failures encountered.
Leave politics to when the last soldier is out of harms way and is back to his family like the rest of us. In the military it is called mutiny. In civil life it is called insurrection. It is bad. Even before emergence of boko haram NIgerians have sentimental reasoning, that's my point....NIgerians have fear factor for soldiers right from on set, GEJ led government rubbish nigeria army by playing politics with it...we all are aware how nigeria soldiers go for peace keeping and come back victorious....now you tell me, was it common man that make nigeria army toothless in boko haram fight huh. |

We need to march in support our troops Its not d government alone, we need to play our part as Nigerians Bro the problem is religion sentiment, GEJ supporters that always say northerner should kill themselves Na their region forgetting other tribes live in that same region....GEJ is not helping issues either because he never believed Chibok girls were kidnapped. |

theoctopus: Why are many of you so ignorant? Didnt you read the part that said the money did not come from the FG? He is just telling you how much it cost to prosecute him in the UK and he is right. Go check the cost of prosecuting criminals in Europe and in the UK. You can use google. It cost a lot of money to prosecute cases in democracy. The estimated cost of prosecuting the Guantanmo bay detainees in New York was so enormous that Obama had to shelve the idea. Education is key. Dont be like Buhari Should we now allow politicians to steal our common wealth because the cost to prosecute them is high....oga discipline is the key which Buhari stand for and I agree with him...if there is discipline among the political elite, stealing of public fund will be on decrease which will enable the government to deal with the few looters unlike what we are experiencing under GEJ..what do you expect gej to do when he is part of the looting...remember, stealing is not corruption and how much did nwobodo stole. |

Eluwilussit: Jonathan might not represent the future but he represents the present. Buhari is history and should not be regurgitated into the present, not to talk of our future.
Since you have decided, let it be known to you that other people have decided too. Vote for your choice. Vote GMB. When he loses again, he can finally retire and rest. He has been around for too long. If you are not tired of hearing names like Obasanjo, IBB, Buhari and many more, I am.

Eluwilussit: How old are you? What does Buhari have that your father and uncles don't have? Did you go to school? Was it easy? Are you working now? If you are working, did you get your job with a letter of recommendation?
See, Jonathan may not have performed at the expected level, but he represents true change from the military boys and the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy. Jonathan represents the common man. He represents the hope of the masses. He represents a dream. He represents freedom.
I am not from Niger delta. I am not a PDP member. I am simply a nigerian who stands by democracy. Buhari does not represent democracy. He belongs to the same privileged elites that have held us to ransome.
I am glad you are from Niger Delta. It shows we are making progress. Vote with your conscience. Vote for Buhari. If he wins, fine. If Jona wins, fine as well.
Buhari doesn't appeal to me one bit. A Fashola, a Rochas, a Tambuwal and many other vibrant APC men would have been better. Even Rotimi de Driver & ATM would have been a better option.
The North and APC chose Buhari just to wrestle power from the SS. It has nothing to do with performance of jonathan. Jona did better than obj. He did better than all the khaki boys before him.
The North dosnt want the result of the National Conference to be implemented. Unfortunately, if Jona loses, all the billions of dollars and time spent on the National Conference will be in vain. We go back to square one. Tinubu and co, will simply replace the current thieves. The cycle continues. Even if APC chose fashola, you guys will still find fault that's politics for you and btw, which future is GEJ representing? Do you even understand what you are saying or you are just saying it for politics sake....like I told you earlier, I am not a kid...IHaveDecided. |

Eluwilussit: Buhari is the most clueless. He's just a typical soldier. He only understands go and come. How does a man who had all that he needed in the last 29 years to improve himself and couldn't do, be the best option in Nigeria? Abi you no go school too?
If Buhari becomes the president of nigeria by any chance, nigerians will be ridiculed all over the world. His antecedents alone, disqualify him. Have you ever heard of old people sickness? It's natural. It is not a curse. I know you believe that Buhari was in London for a week to speak at Chatham House, don't you? Unless you are from the North, only idiots will believe that a 72 year old, semi illiterate, despotic and unrepentant man like Buhari is change. Our "messiah" Buhari, belongs to the dustbin of history. Guy go preach to six years old..Buhari I know to be my next president..I voted for GEJ in 2011, he failed woefully....I am from Niger delta in case u don't know. |
Politics › Re: A 72 Year Old Man Has Nothing To Offer Nigerians – Dame Jonathan by hensben(m): 8:11pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
Eluwilussit: After spending 27 years in jail, he came out wiser. Buhari has spent his last 29 with his cows, and has achieved nothing as a person apart from breeding children. Can you spot the difference? Going to jail is even more risky to the brain...GEJ and his supporters are just clueless. |
