Im talking of people complaining on here like they don’t know the team problem already. You have a weakling DM that is breezed past at any move and still ask why you concede late goals. When you are playing top opposition and you score they will come all out to want to equalize, that’s where you need a quality and strong DM to clean up every move.

Because, overall, Lukaku is poor in football basics, he is not a player for top clubs that is serious. As a top club you can’t rely on a player with poor technique like positioning and first touch. I rate Messi over Cr7 by Miles not because of number of goals but other high qualities that Messi possess so Lukaku can jam bodies and score and I won’t still rate him due to the reasons I mentioned above.

Our midfield need to be addressed before we can actually see attackers doing well, it’s not about Havertz alone. A CDM like Casemiro or Fabinho is what we need; robust with the ball, can shoot when needed and can open the game for smooth counter attack. A CM that can dictate play and shoot too with intelligent passes.

Havertz is too soft and slow for now, his game needs to mature and I don't doubt that as he adds more years. That's why I asked him to be loaned out before the season started. Midfield is not responsible for his inability to wriggle out of tight spaces or being clueless in front of goal. Boy is showing laziness.

Why loan our 70 m player when the system of play is majorly the problem. If we get good midfielders that actually know their primary job Havertz will do well. As a midfielder you are meant to spread play for your attackers to have space and cause problem but ours is opposite.

You know I have been screaming for a proper midfielder here cos our transition is quite slow and very much predictable.
That said, I do not subscribe to the fact that this is the best that Havertz can play midfielders or not.

He has his fault but he is not a bad player like some people here want us to believe. He is the type of player that strive when the play is synergic because he is a system player. Our midfield pass the ball after breaking counter attack chances, by then the attack have giving up running and had to return to collect the ball, you don’t transition this way and expect your attackers to be effective. It’s not coincidence we don’t have attackers that have scored 20 plus goals since Costa. Most times Kovacic either over hit the ball or under hit it, Jorg pass to Sylver or James to play long passes while cheek run to traffic for no reason and then get confused.

Like he has not produce anything before. He is a one time passer type of footballer unfortunately your midfield don’t understand clever play. Which striker doesn't miss chances, i am not saying he is perfect but he can never grow because of the way we play. Our midfield can't spot runs for quick counter, they have to carry the ball to nowhere and then pass to either chilwell or james, by then opponent have regrouped. Kovacic, cheek and jorg are guilty of this. Havertz is not the type of player that have to carry the ball from midfield to attack all the time before he can score, which is making him tired and become lackadaisical, he is system player.

Chelsea don't play quick transitional football and no winger like hazard again to carry the ball. I try to be objective in my assessment of any player and it's mostly game by game.

Havertz problem is our midfield, Havertz is a system player which is not bad. He will be very good when he trainer to a team that play quick one two football. We don’t play quick transition football like other top clubs because of the type of midfielders we have.
