PoliticsWhy Nigeria Should Not Break-up by HereAtIt(op): 1:39pm On Jan 14, 2022
Nigeria has always been on the thin line of breaking-up. Igbo self-acclaimed freedom fighter, Nnamdi Kanu has always been on the forefront, wanting a Biafra nation for the Igbos. Last year also saw the emergence of Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho. The ordeals that befell both freedom fighters are a tragedic story to the ear of their supporters till today.

Nigeria is a nation with many diversities in various ramifications; religious diversity, ethnic diversity, cultural diversity, ethno-religion diversity, economic diversity, political diversity, and many more. All of these build up to the reasons that make division look reasonable. Looking reasonable does not however equate to being the real solution.

Should we forget that each ethnic has it's own various diversity? Let's take a look at the Yoruba tribe; filled with many sub-tribes (if I may say sub-tribes grin ): Ijesha is a dialect spoken in Ilesha, Osun State. I taught Oyo dialect is the same everywhere until I found out that an average person from Igboho does not speak like someone from Saki, meanwhile, both towns are in Oyo state; in fact the Oyo dialect spoken in Ibadan is different entirely from the ones differently spoken in the two earlier mentioned towns of Oyo state. How about the people from Ekiti State? In fact each town in Ekiti State speaks different Ekiti dialect.

I have an Igbo friend who once told me that he hardly understands the Igbo language that Phyno speaks in his songs. That was when I realised that even Igbo has different dialects.

You may think that everyone from the Northern part of the country is an Hausa man but start from Kogi state that has various tribes such as the Igala, Ebira, etc. Okene alone has different tribes. The North is filled with many tribes, an average Kanuri man will fight you if you dare call him an Hausa man.

Therefore, you may be wrong if you think or believe that breaking-up will be the end of the problem of this country. In fact it may be the beginning of fresh problem for each new nation. Let me use the Yoruba people as an instance; if the Yoruba or Oodua nation eventually happen, a time will come that the Ekiti people will start a fight that the Ijesha people have ruled for so long, it's time they too take over the Presidency. This will be the similar case with Biafra nation or Hausa nation shocked .

In my own opinion, breaking-up is part of the options but not the solution to the problem.

Here is a video of a popular clergyman from Ogbomosho, Oyo state, Rev'd Tolu Agboola giving perspective to this message.

As reasonable as Reno might sound, Sanwo-Olu is yet still wise not to have handled it with the expected force. He's the governor and understands what should be done to keep internal cohesion in his state
CelebritiesRe: Mr Macaroni: Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s Father Inspired My Generosity by HereAtIt(m): 6:42pm On Jan 05, 2022
Plantiff:
Macaroni can keep playing to the gallery and it would not stop rational observers from rating him as a partisan activist.

The Vice President invited him for an open discussion to understand the plight of the youth yet he refused. He didn't refuse quietly but subtly thrash-talked other comedians who went. It seems as though he won the hearts of his uninformed sheeps and emotional herd who subscribe to cancel culture grin

Let's face it, the Adelekes have been in the Nigerian political scene even when VP. OSinbajo was just a lecturer at the University of Lagos.

Isiaka Adeleke, Davido's Uncle, was the Governor of Osun State back in 1992. In 2007 the Ex Governor was elected into the Nigerian Senate. In 2017 , sadly, he kicked the bucket and guess who replaced him at the Nigerian Senate? His brother , Ademola Adeleke, who will be contesting to become Governor of Osun later this year. Why are the Tinubus, Desmond Eliots, newcomers like Sanwo Olu the ones that the Macaronis of Nigeria criticize?

Like Buhari, Ademola Adeleke's WAEC certificate is questionable and has gone to the court. Why do the Macaronis of Nigeria drag Buhari and not Davido's Uncle for a not having the basic educational qualification but is an elected representative?

Do you know why?

Just like in the United States where Hollywood is for the "liberal party" and hate anything Republican, Nigerian celebrities covertly support the PDP and hate anything APC. There's no activism, just hate for APC. (Note, I think the ideology of APC is stupid too but PDP isn't different).

I'll deactivate my account if at least 5 popular Nigerian celebrities question (during election period) what the Adeleke's have done in Osun despite their decades of mainstream political involvement in the State or why Ademola Adeleke's basic educational qualification is questionable.

He has already switched allegiance to Nigeria. He was also in the initial 40 man list, but our dear new coach didn't enlist him in the 28 man list. Probably because they thought Leicester city won't be willing to release all of Ndidi, Iheanacho, and him at the same time.
