Anyone who believes all these nonsense these folks are typing will just die of heart attack. Let Dpr call the shot.. not some random dude from some village.

I WAS TOLD AT DPR TODAY THAT EVERYONE THAT WOULD BE INVITED FOR INTERVIEW BASED ON MERIT GOT THE E-MAIL/SMS.. NOT TO BREAK ANYONE'S HEART BUT PLS PPL NEED TO FIND ALTERNATIVES JUST INCASE THIS DOESN'T WORK OUT. HECK EVEN THOSE THAT WILL GET TO INTERVIEW STAGE HAVE NO ASSURANCE OF GETTING IN. ABOUT 3,500 PPL WERE INVITED FOR INTERVIEW TO FILL JUST ABOUT 300 POSITIONS. WAS ABOUT 400 INITIALLY, NOW REDUCED ACCORDING TO WHAT I WAS TOLD. I WISH EVERYONE ALL THE BEST.

Even the workers are wholly bemused. Some said site is hacked, some said they are rectifying error, some said getting sms to edit your profile means you're shortlisted for the next stage, some said those with closed portal are the ones who are being processed.. all these inconsistent and contradictory messages from some help desk. Why can't we exercise more patience..? Let's see with our very eyes how the whole thing unfolds in lieu of mongering baseless assumptions... they should keep their thoughts on the matter to themselves.. enough of this!

I still have access to my profile (i've never had problems accessing it) and I received the sms and email yesterday.

Methinks the update is in DPR's realization that some applicants details might have changed since their initial application last year. For instance, I was still in the UK after finishing my masters when I applied and didn't have a Nigerian phone number so I used a family members number (through which I received the sms yesterday), but this update opportunity allowed me to update my phone contact as I've since returned and now have a Nigerian phone number.

We should all remain optimistic, but common sense dictates that if an applicants portal is closed and he/she did not receive the update alert from DPR, then chances are that they might not be proceeding further in the recruitment process. Having said that, I wish everyone the absolute best in their pursuits.

Don't let sentiment becloud your judgment of the matter. If your profile was completely okay, Dpr wouldn't stress requesting an update/edit/correction. The fact that there's a deadline to editting of profiles should make you think deeply who's on the better side here.

Once you update your profile, it'll be closed like others'. They gave a deadline because of this.

Application Portal Closed- means: Those candidates waiting for invite. But not all applicants, only those that scale through.

Object Moved- means: Work has been concluded on their portal, waiting to for the admin to closed it i.e the last stage.


Portal Accessible - Work is still going on their portal before moving it to stage 2 i.e Object Moved.

Guys, you will recall that In the disclaimer message by DPR, they warned people to stop speculation on the employment process, but always refer to the application portal for update on the recruitment.

Now, if application portal is closed for some and still open for others, it MAY simply mean those it's closed for are out of the race.

I say this because if you are invited for interview, the details of the invite will be n the portal when you login. Just the way it was for the test.

Moreover, does it make any sense that the portal will be closed for those that have been successful?

There's no point in you trying to cause panic on here. Your speculations are nonsensical and not according to fact. When the time comes, Dpr will start inviting via mails and the updated dashboards will be accessible via the link sent with the invites. If your dashboard is still accessible by now you should be worried.

These are unnecessary speculations and I could sense impatience, childishness in almost every post up there. Wait till dpr contacts (invites or rejects) you via mail.. you blokes should stop speculating ignorantly.

'Application portal closed' is different from 'Application closed'.. don't faint yet, until they start sending mails.

I quote a brother from the groupchat..

"I was at kofo abayomi office of DPR to make enquiry yesterday afternoon. Meh those guys don't know exact week that invite will come yet but they were sure that the recruitment is against January resumption. I think we just need to wait a little and be patient!"

Enough with the spamming folks! Let time be the judge of this dispute. As for me, I believe we'll get called in no time. So let's wait patiently with high hopes.
