So what happens when we die (lose our breath)?

As simple as that. We return to the same state we were.
As for the question of the OP, since the righteous dead will take on a new body at resurrection at the end of days, it's sensible that the damned will be destroyed in the lake of fire bodily.

False teachings of a spirit surviving after death is the cause of this confusion. When you die, you die. There's nothing like your spirit wandering the universe. That's a demonic teaching and it's not supported by the Bible. The Bible only said, the dead are sleeping.

Not just the bible only. It was in Mark Twain's book "Innocents Abroad" that he wrote: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." and with that in mind, is why I earlier said that " "I travel a lot and visit many good, bad and ugly books, but live in the Bible.""

I learned all of I share from and by reading the bible along with a few other the good, bad and ugly books. Reading is important to me. A mind needs books like a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge, so the saying goes. On top, I love and enjoy reading the Bible. It gladdens my heart and ít's an immerse source of knowledge to me.

Living in the bible helps me a lot and allows me to think outside the box, as the law of liberty gives me the opportunity to do just that.

I Began Writing; Stories, Articles, Ideas, have Never Stopped Coming. I Even Have Dreams That Predicts My Future and Honestly Its A Beautiful Life Ahead Of Me. When I Wrote My Next Exam My English Was B.

I Am Happy I Found God but Not Just God but My Life he Gave Me A Focus Which I Lacked.

Well, I don't know much about the death bit since I haven't died yet, but in the living human being in which their is a "spirit, soul and body", as you say, I know which bit hurts when I bang a hammer on my thumb and it's not the same bit that hurts when I fail an exam or do something that makes buda burn in hell.
