A woman who has been missing since Thursday was found dead inside a python on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia.

The incident occurred on June 14, 2015 when 54-year-old Wa Tiba went to check her garden. By Friday morning, Wa Tiba was not yet home, so residents and police went in search of her.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Niger State has arrested a man for allegedly pouring boiling water on his mother, causing serious injuries on her body.

Mr Philip Ayuba, Corps Commandant in the state, who disclosed this in Minna, yesterday, said that the suspect, who lives on Okada Road, Minna, after his arrest and interrogation, was believed to have committed the act under the influence of alcohol, tatolin and cannabis.

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohrhas banned players from eating goat meat and pepper soup as they prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

This comes after consecutive losses toEngland and the Czech Republic in the World Cup friendly matches.

Rohr is now restricting the players who are camped in Austria from some certain meals as he bids to keep them in good condition for the tournament.

In an interview with Omasports TV, the German tactician stated that the Super Eagles players will not be permitted to eat goat meat, pepper soup, and other spicy foods.

He said, “The reason is because nutritionist will tell you that too much spicy foods is not good for athletes.

“We have to observe what they tell us, and the medical team agreed that we cannot eat too much fat and too much spice."
But he also revealed that there may be instances whereby the ban could be lifted.
He said, “For instance, there can be an exception on Sunday the night we will be here, there will be a little Austrian music, perhaps a little African food, from Madam ambassador so we will see.”

Hon. Moshood Mustapha, a former member of the House of Representatives, says he has no hand in the rift between Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

Mustapha, a governorship aspirant in Kwara, said this in a statement on Friday in Ilorin.
